This property is nestled between two of Sugar's most popular slopes, Big Red and Sugar Slalom Flying Mile. Throughout ski season, there will always be an open slope steps from your door!
Inside you will find a king bed in the master,a queen in the guest room and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Complete with wood burning fireplace, full kitchen, TVs in the Living room (huge 46" with Blu-Ray) and both bedrooms, wireless Internet as well as access to the Sugar Ski community pool and hot tub, this cozy condo is sure to please the whole family every time.
As you drive up a gracefully winding road, you approach a private gate allowing you entry into a secluded world you will share with few others. From the warming hut you have access to amid the Big Red lift on a chilly winter's day to the steamy relaxing sauna and hot tub in the club house after the day is over as you watch your kids belly-flop into the neighboring indoor pool, your escape is complete. The moment you drive right up to the front of your retreat you'll feel a tingle in your heart realizing that the ski slope is just 10 footsteps steps away and your condo is just a few steps down inside a heated building.

Beautiful unobstructed views all four seasons of the year. Sugar Ski and Country Club sits at the crest of Sugar Mountain and your getaway is on the second (2nd) floor. Each building only has 6 units per building so there's plenty of peace and quiet. This is a true Ski In/Ski out and our end unit is magically located on the corner, affording you great views no matter what season it is. You'll be in the closest condo at the peak of the Big Red lift and footsteps away from upper Flying Mile. For those of you adventure seekers, tennis and basketball courts are on the Club property. You will be overlooking the Ski Slopes and enjoy the breathtaking views of distant mountain ranges and the Banner Elk area below from your very own private balcony. This unit is very popular because of its long distance ski slope views.
Your Condominium has 2 large bedrooms. The master has a queen-sized bed and the 2nd bedroom has a king-sized bed. Each bedroom has a tv with cable, along with an alarm clock.
There are 2 full baths with Tub/Shower combo.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, and garbage disposal. All cooking necessities (pot/pans, bake ware and utensils) are provided.
There is a separate dining room, which joins with the family room.
The family room has a wood burning fireplace, stereo, 46" TV (76 channel cable) and Blu-Ray DVD and CD player. You will have a private balcony to enjoy the views and take in the fabulous sunsets. Location was wonderful for my sons skiing to come in and take a break. View beautiful. So nice to be able to park right outside the building. Nice and clean funishings. We had everything needed for a memorable weekend.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We loved our summer in this great condo. Right outside our door was a great picnic area for the grandchildren to enjoy and they ran all around the mountain. TV and technology great! Wi-fi was superior in speed to what we had at home so we were able to stream movies on the Netflix DVD player. It is just a step away from the ski slope and I imagine pretty great even though I am not a skier myself.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This place had an awesome location - it was RIGHT ON BIG RED. Seriously, you just walk out take 5 steps, pop on the skis and go. The other slope (switchback) was a stone's throw from the front door of the place and just as easy to get to.We went down to the lodge with the free shuttlebus to throw back some beer and eat in the lodge.We didn't fire up the car the whole time we were there.Chilling by the pool and hot tub in the middle of the day was pretty neat too.I think this is the only slopeside place that had a pool when we were researching a place to book.Will be back in March to finish out the season!We talked to a few other people about the pads they were renting and they were jealous of ours - big screen TV, Blu-Ray player, WI-FI, even a Keurig to start the day.Great find of a place!!!Did you find this review helpful?
