  We just returned from the best vacation ever. Pueblito Escondito is fantastic, very quiet, we felt like we had the place all to ourselves! Room was very clean and had everything we needed. The beach is literally a few steps away. We didn't even get a beach chair anywhere, we just used the cooler provided, put some libations in there, and walked to the beach for the day. Great restaurants very close, some favorites are Piola (happy hour) and Cenacolo (amazing Italian). Fernando was a pleasure to deal with in every way.

  After deciding against the resort experience and opting instead to stay in the heart of Playa, we were THRILLED with our time at Pueblito Escondido! The amenities were superb, the location could not be better, and we felt we got a real sense of the area instead of an artificial resort package. Thanks, Fernando! We couldn't be happier with our perfect Playa del Carmen vacation!

  First time in playa del Carmen. The condo is perfect: spacious, clean, quiet. People at the reception desk very nice, and helpful. Right near the beautiful beach and 2 min from the most popular and touristic street of Playa: 5th avenue street. Excellent stay, we loved it!! Many things to do, many places to visit (by buses), great food to eat and beaches are just so beautiful!!!!!! And the apartment just perfect. Without any hesitation, this is a place to go!!!   Having stayed in many properties in playa i have to say Pueblito escondido es playas best kept secret, the condo is perfect, the common grounds are simply amazing with the best rooftop pool iv tried, and the location does not get better, steps from the beach, spets from the hotspots and restaurants and clubs in playa, the staff is super friendly and allways with a smile. Cant wait to book again!

  LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! First of all let me tell 'ya that the location of Pueblito Escondido is one of the best in Playa, you're away from the crowd, but you have the best restaurants and shops of interest just around the corner. Secondly, the amenities and accommodations of this unit are superb! You have a wonderful view to the pool from the balcony, and being on a second floor get's you all the privacy you need without the hassle of to many stairs or a long ride on an elevator. The apartment is SUPER BIG, it has a fully equipped kitchen (in which I cooked organic breakfasts every morning thanks to a little organic grocery store that's just around the corner), a very spacious living/dinning room and a wonderful master suite, which by the way has a very comfortable mattress (I own a Tempur Pedic at home, and usually the mattress is always an issue for me when I stay at hotels, but not this time :) Thirdly, the roof deck and infinity pool!!! By far the best view/experience in the Mexican Caribbean! One you visit this pool, you'll never want to swim any other place again... And the walk to the ocean is a mere 100 paces away, in a section of the beach that it's right in the middle of the distance between the crowded and popular Mamita's beach club, and the new-upcomming-hipster Canibal Royale! In lesser words, this place has it all! If you're thinking of going to Playa talk to Fernando and BEG him to rent you out this space, since is one of the best I've seen in Playa so far after 11 trips down there, and it's quite in demand! Buen camino...

  Stayed at this lovely condo on the northern edge of Playa del Carmen for a week-long anniversary trip. The location is just a block off a nice section of the beach, several blocks north of the noise and partying. The beach was clean & not as crowded as some of the other hotels. The staff at the hotel were kind and speak enough English to be quite helpful. Upon arrival, the room was neat and orderly and had been freshly mopped. Nice kitchen, good sized bathroom/shower. Reliable wi-fi in the room. The view from the balcony faces the beach and overlooks the ground floor pool from above. The stairs or elevator from the lobby will take you up to the 4th floor rooftop where you will find a fabulous rooftop infinity pool. We rarely shared the pool with more than a couple of other people. There are so many units that have their own rooftop pools that the infinity pool still felt very private, although it's a very good sized pool. There are plenty of lounge chairs and a couple of beds with cushions around the pool area as well. With the chill music and great atmosphere on the roof top, we never even used the ground floor pool. Fernando's recommendations for points of interest in the area are excellent. Places close by that are a must: Piola (italian) - just up the street a couple blocks, excellent prices, and authentic high-quality pizza/pasta; Chez Celine - bakery & breakfast; Los Tacos; Ah Cacao - coffee/hot chocolate. A little further but WELL WORTH IT: Oh La La! for dinner - amazing prices & quality; unmatched service (2 huge filet dinners, dessert, lemonades, & tip for less than $40); El Fogon - very local, known for tacos al pastor. Picked up necessities at WalMart and took a taxi back to the hotel. Walking will save a lot on taxis: $5US or $50 pesos to anywhere in town so it's cheaper to exchange to pesos and save some cash if you can't walk. Origins, just below the hotel, has live music every night. We took a collectivo to the AkuMal stop (and walked to town) to go snorkeling at YaKul lagoon; and another trip to Rio Secreto. We also adventured to ChaakTun, a cenote in western Playa (not all locals know it & down a private road, so research this one before going, but totally worth it). This property is quiet & away from the business of 5th, yet still close to town: perfect blend for us. We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for an accessible oasis in Playa.

  Facilities are amazing, the infinity pool is awesome. Great location, just steps from nice restaurants and a very short walk from the beach. You can ask for food discount on Playa Mamitas Beach restaurant and you get day passes for beach chairs at that same beach spot, where there's a lot of activities, DJ's, etc. People at the front desk is very friendly. Room has everything you need , bathroom is big, kitchen has everything, supermarket is a few blocks away . TV with cable, not that you would be watching TV instead of relaxing at the pool or the beach. I totally recommend this for couples!!

  What a nice condo. The king size bed was super comfortable. Wish the cleaning staff would leave a few condiments such as salt and pepper. My coffee would be great for the next vacationers. The patio was a pleasant place to end the day but I wish the chairs were more comfortable. The front desk was so pleasant and so helpful. The roof top pool was splendid. A very quiet location at almost the end of Fifth Avenue and walkable to many great restaurants. The beach sort of handy and the passes entitled you to a chair and umbrella but if you didn't go early you were setting back from the beach under the boom boom of the speakers from the beach bar and restaurant. Fernando was helpful with all our questions. It was a pleasant week vacation. Margie and Jerry

  Hola, Fernando, My wife and I had a wonderful time staying in your condo. Everything you advertised was true. The beach is close and the rooftop pool is great. The size of the unit is very generous and furnishings make for a comfortable stay. My wife has back trouble but the bed was excellent for her. Concierge service was friendly and helpful and maintenance was very quick. A circuit breaker tripped when a bulb blew. The onsite repairman was there in 2 minutes flat. So I give you and your property a 5 star rating. Thanks.
