  I have traveled extensivley and have never written a review. I felt compeled to write this review as the reception, service, attention to detail i recieved while on my stay at Casa Reflejos was outstanding. Upon my arrival which was late they arranged for a private taxi to pick me up at the airport, Then upon my arrival at Casa Reflejos i was met by the owner Richard," and may add that this was at 1:15 am". he helped with my luggage, showed me the room and took the time to answer questions i had about Costa Rica as this was my first visit to this beautiful country. In the morning i then met his manager Esther, what a wonderful, helpful and kind lady. She took the time ,everytime i had a question and arranged trips and excursions for activities i was interested in. She genuinly cares about the guests. The property was extremly well maintained and clean and it felt like your own private piece of paradise. The veiws are fantastic and i would recommend Casa Reflejos to anyone. Bravo to Richard , Esther and the whole staff for making my stay enjoyable. I will be going back to Costa Rica and will stay there again.

  Relaxing and thoroghly enjoyable, a little of the beaten path. Step were a challenge not recommended for anyone with disabilities, or small children without supervision. I felt very safe with the security of locked gates in the country atmosphere with a city view . Very clean and well maintaned. I found it so nice to have the owner to be a resident and live there year round in the casa. Way to go Richard !

  This was our second stay at Casa Reflejos and we just could not recommend it more highly. We stayed this time in Apartment #10 which has a spectacular view of the valley and San Jose, with the volcanos Irazu and Poas in the distance. Mario, the manager, is wonderful and has been completely attentive to our needs. The owners, Richard and Wendy, who live there with their charming son, Sean, are warm and welcoming. There is daily maid service as with a hotel, but we appreciate the qualities of an apartment rather than just a hotel room. We were able to buy food at the local organic farmers' market and cook for ourselves when we didn't feel like going out. The bed was great and there is a nice desk for setting up the laptop. The location on the side of the hills of Escazu, make it super comfortable with the temperature and we never experienced it being too warm because of the perfect breeze that flows through the windows every day. We also appreciated the wonderful pool and spa tub, as well as a great barbeque and entertaining area around the pool, which is surrounded by beautiful tropical trees and plants and tons of orchids. There is no question but that we would stay here each time we return to Costa Rica. It was a very lucky find for us and we can’t wait to be back there.

  I have stayed @ Casa Reflejos about six times over the past two years. It's a wonderful place. The apartments are immaculate. Each one has a gorgeous view of the city and mountains. The grounds are beautifully covered with native plants and trees. I love to listen to the birds chirping in the morning.The weather is great w/ daytime temps in the low 80's and evenings in the 60's. The staff is very friendly and always extremely helpful. The location is ideal w/ shopping, restaurants and a mall nearby. The pool and BBQ area are a great place to spend an afternoon. After a dip in the pool go to the sauna, or sit in the jacuzzi and relax. Casa Reflejos gets my highest recommendation.

  I visit San Jose at least 3-4 times a year and can safely say there is no better place to lay your head than Casa Reflejo. Having stayed in some of the city's best hotels, none compare to the comfort and truly first class service I receive here. Since my first visit here over five years ago, I've made it a point to only stay here. The rooms are large, very comfortable and modern. The views are amazing... even local clients of mine are impressed (and they live here year-round!) Best of all, when I don't feel like venturing out, there's more than enough to do on the property itself... That's the sign of a perfect hotel. The entire staff caters to my every need as if I were the CEO of a Fortune 500 company: What more could anyone ask for? If you go, be sure to ask for Mario... He's the General Manager and makes each and every one of my stays more memorable than the next.

  For the past few years whenever i travel to Costa Rica, which is a few times a year , i always make a reservation with Casa Reflejos. The Aparthotel is conveniently located near several very good restaurants, shoppings centers, supermarkets, banks and serviced by very dependable local taxi service. I especially like the location upon the mountain where you are provided a great view of the central valley below and a comfortable feeling from the tropical breeze. The apartments are very clean with much more room than a hotel room would provide. The apartments are fully furnished with all the convenience of home. Casa Reflejos also provides daily maid and laundry service except on sundays. The staff at Casa Reflejos is always very friendly and strives to make your stay an enjoyable one. Because of the facilities and services provided, my stays at Casa Reflejos has always been great. I would definitely recommend anyone traveling in the area to give Casa Reflejos a call, you will be glad you did.

  A quiet and idyllic retreat with an amazing view. It is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the nice temperatures of San Jose. Enjoy the view over three volcanoes and the entire city valley and mountains from your room, jacuzzi or pool-area. The place has a small collection of fully-equip apartments, small and big, with green surroundings and a mountainous natural-park-like infrastructure.Insects are rarely noticed. It is kept very clean and the personnel is extremely friendly and helpful with all your needs making you feel as if being part of a family. It is perfect for somebody who wants to relax and get away from stress for a moment, and enjoy a nice view and climate in a comfortable and yet modern environment, but still only 15 minutes drive/taxi from city centre. I highly recommends this to all my friends, as it also has affordable pricing and gives very good value for money. I come here several times a year and has probably spent more than 300 days spread over more than 5 years. Love it!!

  i had the oppurtunity to live in casa reflejos apartment number 4 for almost 18 months. my intent was to stay for only a week while my employer located a suitable hotel for me but i got luckY and did not need to look any further. the rooms are cleaned every day, laundry service was provided every day except sundays. the house maids always smiled, the view was outstanding, overlooking escazu and downtown san jose. every morning i woke to the sounds of parrots, owls and the Kiskadee (the national bird). on weekends the owner would take me mountain bike riding into the mountains overlooking the country, at times we rode as high as 6000ft. ya over a mile up and it was breath taking. the staff, management and owner treated me with the care and consideration i am used to at a 5 star hotel. very personal, private and luxurious. i recommend this hotel to any person, couple, newly wed or family wanting to be treated with privacy, respect and consideration.
