Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful magical home with us. We enjoyed the beach and collected some sea glass for art projects at home to remember this beautiful place. Although we did not the whales, I did find a small white piece of sea glass that was shaped like a whale. I will definitely frame this one. We enjoyed some lovely meals in your beautiful kitchen and one evening we steamed collard greens for our dinner from your garden. Thank you for being so generous. Thank you so much for allowing us to rent your spectacular home last week. We were truly amazed with all the beauty surrounding us, both inside and out. We tried our best to soak up all the loveliness by sitting outside on your patio, taking walks on the beach and enjoying all the local activities we could find. The reflection of the moon on the water each night was heaven sent. Again, we appreciate your letting us use your bikes. Your location is completely ideal to access to the local bike trail. Each evening, around twilight, Peter Cottontail paid us a visit to dine on the fallen apples; however we never got a glimpse of a deer during our stay. We also appreciate all the preparation you did, in advance of our stay. Your notes and suggestions - and all the beautiful roses and flowers around the house were an added plus. We're in and out of the Saanich Peninsula fairly often, however, this trip included a variety of activities: Butchart Gardens (this time we had Afternoon tea and took the boat ride- both were magnificent), a stroll in Victoria, a ferry hop to Salt Springs Island where we discovered for the first time the Studio Tour, the Ocean Discovery Centre, and our finale was dinner last night at my favorite restaurant....Deep Cove Chalet. We hated to leave!...but now we're home and upon our arrival we were heartily greeted with countless kisses from our most beloved dog, Ruby. Great hospitality from the owners who went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing vacation with our 1.5 and 3.5 year old children. They loved playing with all the toys they had set out for them, the swing in the yard and playing on the beach all day of course!! Cooking in this kitchen was a pleasure. No complaints at all... this place is definitely relaxing and still so close to town. We would definitely recommend and look forward to hopefully coming back to Eagle Beach house one day soon! The Hulls.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Thank you so much for your kind hospitality. We have enjoyed a relaxing and refreshing stay in your wonderful home and at all times we have felt comfortable and quite "at home"! We have all enjoyed the natural science in and around the house, and our daughter has been completely immersed in the things she loves--nature, marine life, and most especially fish. I think she may need am aquarium in the near future, perhaps even with a frog. Thank you again for this opportunity to enjoy your family home on the Salish Sea.
