  We recently rented out the Young Mansion for a reunion of sorts. We had six couples and two solo friends for a total of 14 and it would have been possible to not even run into each other the property was so sprawling. We were all awestruck from the moment we arrived. The pictures do not do the property justice. It was essentially like having you own private resort. The pool, cabana and surrounding grounds were immaculate and very private. The décor inside the house makes for a very cozy and intimate vibe as well. I would highly recommend this to any group of friends or a family that is looking for a place that keeps everybody in one place.

  My family and I vacation in South Florida regularly since we used to live there. We've tried to get the Young mansion on a couple of occasions and finally were able to do so this year. This house is a must visit for those who love history, who find value in an making memories. The house has plenty of room to spread out. We found our three primary gathering places were the enormous dining room table (perfect for eating and playing games); the billard room, with a pool table for 1846 (just gorgeous) which hosted several tournaments, and the indescribably beautiful pool area. The kitchen was wonderful with the size of our group; industrial type appliances made dinner prep a fun, family-oriented event! It was just delightful. We hosted a dinner for friends one evening and several locals said, "we've driven by this place for years and have always wanted to be IN it." It is quite an experience to be in such an historic home. The owner sought to make our visit an exceptional time. He was easy to work with, agreeable, available, responsive. From a partially stocked refrigerator to access to his cell phone, he made our time his priority. We ran into a couple of problems but the owner was not only quick to resolve the problem, but even offered a very gracious conciliatory gift for our family, which itself was a wonderful experience. The only caveat I'd make for a renter is, the house is old. If someone is looking for the perfect, latest/greatest amenities, they might find this a little lacking. But with great AC, perfectly running hot water, TV's in most bedrooms and a host of other amenities (including 1/2 from the beach, which we visited daily), it lacks nothing our high-maintenance family needed. We found the "old" enchanting and part of the experience. Thank you Richard for your great hospitality.

  We really enjoyed The Young Mansion! The house was so beautiful and HUGE! So much space, you definetly will get lost the first night. We had a minor problem one day and Mr. Richard was there to fix it in an instant. We enjoyed visiting the Hollywood Beach and Dave & Busters! My friends and I are already looking forward to the next trip in the mansion. My opinion...You will NOT be disappointed!!

  My name is Nayano and I have stayed in Young Mansion about 12 times in the past 3 years. I bring my yoga retreat groups here and we absolutely love the house. The house holds a very special energy that works well with our meditations and processes. We usually have a group of 16-18 adults and even with that many of us living together, we find plenty of our own personal space, never croweded. Even though there are long breaks and the beach is only a short walk away, most people do not want to leave the grounds....it feels like a sanctuary the holds us in its arms. Yes, we aren't on vacation, we are there to do our work....but somehow it feels as if we are in our own private resort. We absolutely Love the house, and I would recommend this place highly.

  This place was awesome. The photos do not do it justice. If you are looking for something eclectic, original with loads of character...this is it. Wooden beams, old chandeliers hung high above, gorgeous hard wood floors, wrought iron gates everywhere!!! We got married there on December 7th in front of the fountain which we had filled with white rose petals and floating candles. We dined outside by candlelight in the inner courtyard and it sincerely felt like we were in Tuscany...it was simply magical. The property managers were amazing to work with and very accommodating. 4 blocks from the beach which is stunning btw. If I lived on the East coast I would definitely rent this place again for big family gatherings. Much better than a hotel and way more cost efficient

The house and grounds help to create a space of meditation and love. Our groups enjoy dining by the pool cabana, smelling the sweet jasmine flowers and listening to the birds. Our largest group was 22, and we had plenty of personal space in and around the house. We love gathering in the big kitchen at night for tea and stories. We take care to be good neighbors during our stay since we are in a residential area. I absolutely love this place and consider it a blessing for the work I do. The only difficult part of staying there is leaving. The agents, Bret and Wendi are easy to work with and have been very considerate and helpful to me. You will love this place too."

Cancellation policy:

Rental Rules* ADDRESS: 1055 Hollywood Blvd. Hollywood, FL 33019 Phone: CHECK-IN TIME is AFTER 3 P.M. EST AND CHECKOUT is 10 A.M. EST. NO Early Check-in or late checkout. This is a NON SMOKING house. EVENTS- Without prior written approval no events or large gatherings of more then 25 people or more people shall be permitted on the property. Any such unauthorized events shall be considered false pretense and will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in or shall be forced to leave the property if already checked in. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in. PETS - Pets are permitted in rental units only with prior approval. $100 per pet- per week fee applies. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up any/all pet refuse. Pets are not allowed on furniture at any time. Any evidence of pets on furniture may incur extra cleaning fees. All pets must be up-to-date on rabies vaccinations and all other vaccinations. Heartworm prevention is highly recommended. All pets are to be treated with Advantage or similar topical flea and tick repellent three (3) days prior to arrival. Fleas and ticks are very rampant in this area and can cause harmful/fatal illness to humans and pets. All items above are the sole responsibility of the pet owner. The owners of Young Mansion assume no responsibility for illness or injury that humans or pets may incur while on the premises. DAMAGE PROTECTION - A damage protection fee of $69 will be charged. This covers accidental damages however please be advised that the conditions below must be met in order to not incur additional fees. • No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay. • All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in dumpster, and soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher and cleaned. • All keys are left on the kitchen table and unit is left locked. • All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure. • No linens are lost or damaged. • NO early check-in or late checkout. • The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), the local law enforcement, or the security company employed by My Community. PAYMENT – An advance payment equal to 50% of the total rate is required upon booking. The advance payment will be applied toward the rental expense. Please make payments via credit card or personal checks payable to Property Staffing Inc. The BALANCE OF RENT is due thirty (30) days before your arrival date. CANCELLATIONS – A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and reservation deposit. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. MONTHLY RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS – Monthly renters must cancel one hundred twenty (120) days prior to check-in. Monthly renters who make a change that results in a shortened stay must be made at least ninety (90) days prior to check-in. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY – The maximum number of guests is limited to twenty (20) persons. An additional charge or $100.00 per person per night for guests in addition to twenty (20) will be assessed. MINIMUM STAY – This property requires a three (3) night minimum stay. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods. If a rental is taken for less than three days, the guest will be charged the three-night rate. INCLUSIVE FEES – Rates include a one-time linen & towel setup. Amenity fees are included in the rental rate. NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE – NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. However, it is available at an additional rate. We do not permit bath towels or linens to be taken from the units, but we provide extra beach towels for your use. RATE CHANGES – Rates subject to change without notice. WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance. PARKING – Parking is limited to front driveway and parallel to the garages on 11th Avenue, at most three or four vehicals will fit in these area. Parking on the road is permitted on Hollywood Blvd in areas that are not crossed out and also on Tyler Street (north of Hollywood Blvd)- there is no parking on 11st Ave. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. WATER AND SEPTIC – The house is on a city water system. The sewage system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to three hundred dollars ($300). EXSESIVE LOUD MUSIC- City of Hollywood has an ordinance regarding loud music and the police will enforce against any loud disturbances of the peace. It’s advised that all tenants be careful to not be excessively loud especially after 10 PM. STORM POLICY– HURRICANE OR STORM POLICY – No refunds will be given unless: • The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and/or • A "mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing guest. • The day that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation order in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning," area, we will refund: o Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered; o Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten the stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and o Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period. TRAVEL INSURANCE – We highly recommend all guests purchase travel insurance. If you wish to purchase travel insurance, go to www.InsureMyTrip.com for details and to purchase. The Young Mansion is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
