This gorgeous villa has 4 bedrooms inside the main house, as well as a studio apartment with a 5th bedroom, at pool level. With 6 1/2 baths, very large living room, den/play-room with adjoining kitchen, and dining room, this house has all of the space you could possibly need for a group or family vacation.
Guests have happily commented that it was always possible to find a quiet spot, even when the house was full of people. The luxurious house is well suited to multi-generational and extended family holidays, as the bedrooms are not all located next to one another.
The property has a spacious outdoor patio, large pool surrounded by a vast pool deck, as well as spectacular views of the water, and two golf courses!
Bedrooms & Bathrooms:
1) Master bedroom, upstairs: US Super King bed, with marble bathroom, walk-in shower, and bidet.
2) Blue bedroom: two US Twin beds, which can be put together as King/Super King bed. With ensuite shower room and bidet.
3) Turquoise bedroom: two Twin beds, with bathroom and bidet.
4) Bedroom off of the kitchen: UK Super King which is 6 foot wide, with adjacent bathroom.
5) Studio bedroom: 5ft bed, with ensuite bathroom.
- In the Studio apartment with kitchen/living space is a Queen pullout.
- Below the Twin room is an extra single bed, with half bathroom adjacent.
- A couple of inflatable mattresses may also be available.
Max occupancy is 8 adults and 4 children as determined by flatware etc, however the extra beds allow flexibility for families traveling with small children, or those who do not want to use the studio apartment as well.
In total, there are 6 and one half baths: all bathrooms have tubs and showers.
Living Spaces & Villa Amenities:
The villa has access to wireless Internet as well as central air conditioning.
The kitchen is a smart, modern installation with blue Corian countertops. It is fully functional and very well equipped for cooking delicious meals. The oven, cook-top, and the dishwasher have been recently upgraded. For cooking outdoors while enjoying the spectacular views, there is a Weber barbecue.
The main dining room table seats 10 indoors, and there is an identical table set-up outdoors. There is also a smaller table in the kitchen which seats 4-6.
From the property you have fantastic views of Castle Harbour, and a gorgeous swimming pool and deck area: ideal for group gatherings. In the villa, the downstairs kitchen/sitting area opens onto a small grassy area by the pool. There is also a pool shower room at that level (with access from the gardens).
Car available for rent only to those guests who have a valid Bermuda Drivers license.
Location:
The nearest public beach to the house is Baby Beach, which is great if one is looking for still water and safe playing for children. John Smiths Bay is also nearby in Smiths Parish, which is about a 10 minute drive from the property.
The location is near Glebe Hill in Tuckers Town. There is a bus stop for the Number 1 bus route at the bottom of the hill (with service to Hamilton and St Georges). The house overlooks the Mid Ocean and Tuckers Point Golf Courses. Previous guests have remarked on the lovely views and nice location with proximity to the beaches and the airport. Tuckers Town is a much sought after location because of its wonderful golf courses, and large homes on spacious lots.
