  This vacation home is the perfect place to stay in Durango. It is great for couples as each bedroom has its own bathroom, so plenty of privacy. And the living/dining/kitchen area is perfect for hanging out, watching movies or reading a book. And there is also the game room on the lower level. It is about a 15 minute drive into Durango so convenient to restaurants and shopping, but far enough out that it was quiet and the night sky was unbelievable. The house is beautifully decorated and immaculate. Highly recommend this as the the place to stay in Durango!

  What a stunning property! We were here for a week in July with our 3 kids and had a fantastic stay. The house has everything you will need to keep adults and kids entertained, and everything in the house is top quality. The location is perfect to go hiking out your front door and we went cycling around the community every evening and managed to take a different route every time. The house is deceptively large, with the basement bedroom and games room a perfect place for the teenagers to chill out in peace and quiet. The property was immaculatey clean on arrival and the owners were available by phone or email 24/7 to answer any questions we had. I would HIGHLY recommend this property for anyone wanting the beauty of the countryside but close enough to the town to go to restaurants and shop if needed.

  It is a family "tradition" that each year our extended family of seven goes on a vacation together. Our stay at this home provided a perfect location for a variety of activities, including walks, sightseeing, and relaxation. A trip to Walmart provided food for breakfast and evening meals, making the vacation much more affordable. This was a perfect home away from home. The owner was especially helpful in preparing us for our visit.

  My family of six stayed in this large and beautiful home for four days over Spring Break. The house is absolutely immaculate and had everything we needed. The kids had their own space in the lower level and there was enough room for all of us to enjoy movies together and play games in the living/dining room. It was also nice having the garage to pull our car into and stay toasty!

  My wife and 5 month old loved our week-long stay in this home. It provided more than enough room and the scenery was breathtaking. We were delighted to have 3 days of snowfall to enjoy from all 3 levels of the home. We would definately love to stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone.

  We came for a family ski vacation and found this home to be clean, nicely appointed and located in a neighborhood convenient to Durango and surrounding attractions. The kitchen is well equipped and the other living spaces accommodated us and our young adults quite comfortably. We were very pleased with the information supplied by the owner and would highly recommend this home as a rental.

  We have been renting with VRBO for about 6yrs now.Great experiences at all of them. This house has the best comfort feeling of all of them and all the trimmings. The decor is the best we have stayed out.

  My husband and I have spent numerous holidays past in this lovely home. It's in a beautiful quiet, wooded neighborhood only minutes from Durango. The home is beautifully maintained and spotless. Beautiful bathrooms with great soaking tubs and roomy bedrooms with nice closets and dreamy beds. We especially enjoyed eating and reading on the upper deck. Nice lower patio and basement rec room afford plenty of space to spread out. Stargazers will love the lack of light pollution. We also enjoyed bird watching and deer that occasionally wander through. We loved the deep snow. Hope to go again during the winter. Durango is delightful: fun parades, the train rides, and some great restaurants. A local bakery named 'Bread' can become positively addictive. Many wonderful day trips are available in any direction. The mountains are magnificent. We plan to go again and we'll be staying in this property if it is available.

  The house was beautiful, big and clean. The owner had a typed out guide on things to do and see in Durango. He was very helpful. We would recommend this property to everyone, it is a great place to relax and enjoy the scenary. I really liked the big pine cone, it was a great marker. I wished we had time to spend a few more nights, but maybe next time. Come to this house, it is a remarkable place.

  Thanks so much. Our family had a great time and the place was just as advertised. Clean, well built (I am a contractor so I would know), and well maintained. The garage space is great. We have stayed all over the country using VRBO we have never had a bad experience but this was one of the best places we have ever stayed. Thanks again.
