True elegance in a quiet mountain setting. This new home boasts a perfect location for first tracks down Brighton's Great Western lift. The Aspens is located in the heart of Brighton Resort - perfect for resort or backcountry skiing and cross country skiing and snowshoeing at the Solitude Nordic Center. There isn't anything missing in this property: hot tub, gas grill, gas fireplace, full kitchen and more. The photos don't do it justice.

We were very impressed by the accommodations at The Aspens. It is appointed beautifully with a homey and welcoming atmosphere in addition to being immaculately clean. It has everything a family needs to spend time together. The kitchen made preparing meals a pleasure; it is so thoughtfully and lavishly equipped. The bedrooms are comfortable; having three full baths accommodated the needs of our family. As skiers, the mud room is a favorable feature, allowing us to get out of the cold to remove our boots and coats. It was wonderful to discover that plowing and shoveling service is provided. The Aspens is well stocked from toilet paper to paper towels to soaps and even boasts an iPod Dock. We have a few suggestions. It would be helpful to have a dish drying rack in the kitchen to handle hand washed dishes and cups. The water softener used in the showers is too strong...it is virtually impossible to remove soap from one's skin. The two back bedrooms are very cold, although ample covers are provided to be warm in bed (dressing was somewhat uncomfortable.) To promote The Aspens as a ski in/ski out rental is a bit of a stretch...it really is hike in/hike out. In conclusion, the attention to detail by the owners reflects their dedication to family and an interest in sharing a wonderful experience with others. Everyone enjoyed themselves immensely and we would definitely consider returning in the future. It feels so much like home we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.Thank you for a wonderful and unforgettable week.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

The Aspens is a beautiful place. We loved the skiing (after I finally got the hang of skiing down the little path). The snow was perfect and it was lots of fun skiing with the Mountain hosts. The children loved having puzzles to put together and lots of games and books to read. I am sorry that we accidentally ruined the melamine plate in the microwave and the spoon in the disposal. Other than that, everything was perfect. We hope that we left everything in good order. It was interesting to read the family history.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

The Aspens was a perfect cabin for our Thanksgiving holiday. The fully stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare our traditional family dishes. The hot tub and flat screen t.v. provided sorely needed relaxation after long ski days. Thanks for sharing, we'll definitely be back.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We had a great time at The Aspens. Very nice place. Close to Great Western Lift. Love being able to ski in and ski out. Great service. Easy to reach owner or Carol for questions on anything. Brighton Ski Area worked great for our group because we had intermdiate and expert skiiers. And when we went to ski Alta one day, there was hardly any options for intermidiates. The only draw back to Brighton is that there is no town. However, the fresh powder and great mountain made up for lack of town amenities. I would strongly recommend this house to anyone else looking for family or group ski vacation.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
