Fantastic condo! Pictures are accurate but do not do the expansive space an lovely, stylish decor justice. The views are beautiful and it is within easy reach of restaurants, activities, etc. This is an upscale, secure condo community built on the hills next to a marina. It is well stocked with all you may need. There is an extensive collection of activity and beach gear (snorkels, mats, chairs) and kids toys. We only thought that the bathrooms needed updating. Although we did not meet the owner, communication was fast and we got all directions and keys before arrival.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed at this property during a visit to family on the island in the winter and we couldn't be more impressed. The location was excellent - right across from the marina and close to Fajardo's finest restaurants. If we felt like staying in, the rooftop pool and exercise facility gave us plenty to do. And there is nothing like standing on the patio at night, watching the tropical stars. We were able to stay in and make some family meals in the well-appointed kitchen - as comfortable as the one at home. Three bedrooms provide plenty of room for a family, and some can watch TV or play games in the upstairs lounge while others relax on the main floor. Fajardo gives easy access to delightful beaches, and you can't miss taking a day cruise to the nearby uninhabited beach islands. It is also an easy day trip to San Juan. The owners made this very easy for us - sending keys to us in Colorado so we could arrive on a holiday and settle down. We are recommending this to friends and family and we recommend it to everyone.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

First, we had to get a Police escort to find the apartments! The cop was super friendly and volunteered to give us an escort which was COOL! So my first advice to you would be to find your apartment FIRST before going out as the streets don't all have signs on them. Which isn't any fault of the owners and I know that :) Also because the power is off at the apartment! When we arrived it was disgustingly HOT! We powered up the AC Units and left so that it'll cool off. We found the apartment to be in EXCELLENT condition and EXACTLY as you see it in the above pictures. The terrace is HUGE!! We ate breakfast out there Friday morning. It is true that the loft doesn't have an a/c unit, so if you get hot easily I would recommend that you take one of the other rooms. It does have about 4 windows and the sliding glass door to the terrace, once these are open you do get a nice breeze; but not during the peak of the day! We only occupied this area early in the morning and at night. You can see a BEAUTIFUL sunrise from the terrace free from obstructions. The only down side here was that you are only furnised with 3 rolls of toilet paper (one for each bathroom), one roll of paper towels in the kitchen and 2 garbage bags and the trash can is a small 13gal bin. This could've been in an email, but I don't recall seeing it, so I would say on your way in stop at the Walmart on PR3 (5 min away) and grab extras of these items, especially since you MUST take all trash out at the end of your stay. There were 7 of us and we stayed here for 4 days and two trash bags weren't enough. Also, bring some DVDs with you just in case it rains during your visit like it did ours. They only have the BASIC cable which does not include CNN, ABC, CBS, etc. We only found 2 english channels and one of them was CW. We were under a Tropical Storm Warning and wanted to watch the news, but couldn't. So just in case you're stuck inside due to circumstances you can't control. There's also a really nice bar directly across the street next to the Marina, good place to hang out! You have to drive as the entrance/exit only accomodates cars (no sidewalk). The guards at the gate were all nice to us! I asked one if he had the number to Pizza Hut and he didn't. The next day when he saw me, he stopped me and gave me the number :) I left a flyer w/the number in the binder. All in all this is a BEAUTIFUL apartment and I would stay here each and every time I visit Puerto Rico!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

This rental is very nice with plenty of valuable amenities. When we arrived, the unit was clean and presentable. There are (3) bedrooms that are air-conditioned which is somewhat necessary in the summer months. The master bedroom has a private bath with shower stall (no tub). There are (2) kids rooms: one with (2) single-person beds and the other with a single two-person bed. If you are sleeping more than 6 people, someone has to sleep on the floor or upstairs in the heat (as there is no A/C) up there. There is no dish washer which is okay if you eat out a lot. We found the fridge and stove to be in good working order and used them daily. The kitchen is okay but the eat-in area is rather small. There is an a/c in the eat-in area but it's somewhat useless since it's not really possible to seal up the room so the cold can stay in. So we didn't use it much. A nice breeze passes though the living room, dining room areas if you leave the entry door and the porch sliding doors open. We found a closet of beach chairs and gear which was useful for our day at the beach. There was also a crib which we used. We found it very frustrating with only one set of keys - especially since you have to have the key to get in the door to the building. We started using the emergency keys that are in the lock box by the door but even with these it was frustrating when one kid wants to go the pool, someone else once to go shopping, and a third person wants to come and go. So we went to Walmart and made another set which was most helpful. About the complex: The most annoying thing is the secured entry. Maybe it's necessary but it was a real hassle. They will not let you out on foot -- which is really absurd since the ocean is just yards away. They will only let cars through. The security guards can be quite grouchy. One of them, a man, yelled at us every time we went through: don't push the button, don't pull up until I waive for you to do so, don't speak to me in Spanish, etc., etc. It seemed that no matter what we did, it was wrong. I came back from picking up a family member at the airport and when I returned to the complex around 10:30, I rang the bell but no one as the gatehouse. I waited 25 minutes and finally a resident came and I sneaked in behind them. I worried the gate would shut on my car. Regarding the owner, he was helpful but communication could have been a bit better on his part. We had to email our contract and bylaws four times. Overall, a good place.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Winston was a pleasure to work with. He answered any questions and promptly returned our security deposit. There was plenty of room for 6 adults and 3 kids ages 11,3,and 1 and a half. There are only two condos on each floor, so there is no problem opening the front door and sliding doors to have the fabulous breeze coming through. This condo overlooks a marina .While it was fun watching the boats, the steel drum band on Friday evenings across the street at Las Olas was a nice surprise. Treat yourself to the BEST BURGER ever at La Estation and the best pina colada at El Jefe at Luquillo beach. So many great things about these accomadations with 3 pools, workout room, security, and convenience. Ralph's is the best for grocery shopping. We are already planning our return visit.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This was my family's first trip to Puerto Rico and we stayed here from May 6-May 12th. I travelled with my Dad and my younger brother. The condo was absolutely wonderful! Everything was spacious, nicely decorated, and clean! There was plenty of space for a large group of people. We cooked breakfast and dinner frequently because the kitchen was wonderful and there are grocery stores within a 10 minute drive! There are also plenty of restaurants nearby if you'd prefer to not cook. Many nights we had dinner on the outside patio and watched the sunset. We also enjoyed using the DVD player to watch movies. The three bedrooms were all located on the first floor and two of the three bathrooms as well. The location was great because we were only 10 minutes away from Bio Bay and El Luquillo beach. We were also close to El Yunque Rainforest. The farthest we had to travel was an hour to get into Old San Juan, and we enjoyed touring the city two different times. There is a pool, hot tub, and work out room on the property, which we used and are kept clean. I would also recommend renting a car if you are staying at this location. We rented a car in San Juan and returned the vehicle before flying home. Overall, we had a wonderful trip and we would definitely come back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This place was great. I had never used VRBO before but soooo glad I did. Everything in the condo was exactly as described. I had to reserve this last minute as my first arrangements with another property cancelled 3 days before my trip. Winston met us at the airport car rental with the keys and had already e-mailed the driving directions. You definately need a car in Puerto Rico. We felt very safe and secure. Discovered a great restaurant about a mile up the road call DiYukas. Wonderful!!! Oh, and don't waste your luggage space on hangers or a blow dryer - Winston's got that covered. Disappointed with the food selection at the local Wal-Mart, go to Econo instead. Beds, pillows, linens and towels are 1st class. Do bring washcloths if you use them, that's the only thing I found missing. I easily messed up the TV on Sunday morning and Winston got right back with me. Thanks again Winston for your hospitality and responsiveness.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
