  we really enjoyed this well named property country living as we had it all morning roosterwake up call,lovebirds some 15 or so beautiful ,wild cats,hens that laid eggs right beside our door and our favorite part was the vegetable people that came to property every tues and friday and we purchased fresh off their truck can't get any better than that.The owners were great people who gave us lots of advise on where to eat,visit and drinks all were good.The gardiner brought us oranges, grapefruit and coconut.The lane that you walked down to get a taxi to go to negril for beach,shopping or whatever was a bit of a challenge as it was very rough and uneven a must to take a good pair of running shoes and a backback for our next visit in the near future.

  Phil&Malty: We all had a really great time in Jamaica and we are glad we chose your rental housing accommodations. Thanks for providing a cost effective and good alternative to the all inclusive resorts, which we find boring and repetitious. Your place felt safe, had the right space-set-up for our family, and was beautiful. Everything was clean and as you described in your VRBO ad. We appreciated your information, guidance and fun stories each morning, as it helped make this one of our best family vacations. You are right about crazy driving habits and your advice to use hustling cab drivers over renting a car was right on. If we rented a car we would not have had as much fun and we would have never found the places we wanted to go. Putting us in touch with the local cabby down the road was a good move. We went to the beach daily, and to Rick's Cafe, the Royal Palms Nature Preserve, Nagril Yoga, Burbon Beach Regge Concert, night fishing with Winter Fresh, Boat trip to the Island, Mayfield Falls, The Lighthouse and WoopiES while visiting. We also ate at Cosmos, Sweet Spice and Ricks. The best stops were Mayfield Falls, Ricks, Cosmos, and WoopiES, and we would avoid the nature preserve and the boat trip to the island as both were very dissapointing. We really enjoyed ourselves and were very pleased with you, Malty, and the yardman Letman. This was a great way to experience all Jamaica has to offer. If we go to Jamaica again, and you have availability in your rentals, we would gladly return. I'd easily recommend this place to family and friends. Thanks foe everything! Eric and Family

  Were to begin WOW!!! Me and my husband picked Country Living as our honeymoon spot and by GOD i'm glad we did it was the most breath taking experience EVER!! We really did not want to leave we staid from the 12-19 April 2012 1 week which was definately not long enough. We'll most definately be back before the year is out. Ok now, Phil & Malty the owners are absolutely, amazingly awesome. They are a beautiful couple that make you feel really welcome from the moment you set foot on the property. Their level of hospitality is very commendable and the grounds are like what you would picture the garden of eden to look like. Endless fruit trees organic herbs and vegetables grown to pefection for you to use in your cooking if desired. The rooms are extremly comfortable, spacious and clean the whole atmostphere is one that cultivates relaxtion and very positive energy. The value is unbeatable in Negril $30-45 for the standard of acccomodation that you receive is unmatchable NO, 1,2,3,4,5 star hotel comes close. I know you've probably heard this before but If you want to experience the real Jamaica with real people, book with Country Living I gurantee you will not be disappointed. The 7 mile beach is a 5-10min taxi ride away me and my husband visited every day, and on each day there was a new adventure to be had. The locals were also very friendly and easy to talk to which was nice. If you require airport transfers they have their own personal driver who will pick you up in a well airconditioned people carrier which is much appreciated when travelling in the hot sun to or from Negril. What more can we say other than it was a Marvelous honeymoon one that we shall never forget. we'd like to say a big Thank you to Phil & Malty for making our stay so superb....We'll be seeing you soon!!   We had such an excellent experience with Phil&Malty that we are coming back next year. The property is very clean and very relaxing, everything was better than the description and Phil & Malty are very gracious and hospitable hosts and gave us many tips about where to go and eat in Negril. Their friendly gardener Letman will pick fresh fruit from their trees for you and he kept our son entertained helping him find frogs and other critters. Can't say enough about our stay except we are coming back and we can't wait. We can recommend Xtabi restaurant instead of Rick's Cafe and Alfred's Ocean Palace on Negril Beach for a great time and great entertainment. Thanks Phil, Malty and Letman. We miss you, see you soon.

  helpful ,warm, welcoming were our hosts even before we arrived. they gave us invaluable information and arrange a ride from the airport to their place(which i recommend anyone take on their first visit,and i was glad we did). there was no surprise except for the fact that their place is much better than what they advertise. the gardener also help us anytime we had some laundry to do or to get us some fresh fruits from the orchard. if you enjoy the quiet retreat of the country side in addition to a short taxi drive to the action in negril ( 2 us dollars including tip) ,you will love it as much as we did. clean,spacious and well stocked for all our needs, was our room,with everything working perfectly. this is by far the best of both world and the best value you will find in negril period. thank you for making this trip my best one i will be back for sure country living "ya man"

  We have stayed at these apartment twice and had a great time both times. We found it easy to shop and go to and from town(negril). We would walk down the country road to the pavement road to get a taxi, "no problem mon" as you would say it in Jamaica.
