I am the person, that never writes reviews. I find them too time consuming but in case of this rental, I could not resist after my husband and our four teenagers spent a week there. Where to start? We booked this rentals in July and the owners were very helpful and easy to deal with. Kate was a great source of information and helped us with directing us to the right folks to book our White House Tour ( the kids were super excited about that), helped us with our itinerary and even provided a guide book of what we should do and see while visiting Washington. Once we arrived, we were wowed by the house. It was spacious, clean, nicely appointed and located very close to everything. Grocery store, restaurants and Target are only five minutes walking distance from the house. There are tons of great places to eat, shop and also to explore. We enjoyed just walking around and seeing all the interesting buildings and historic row homes. The owners were very responsive to our call while staying in DC and recommended a few good local places for dinner. Our favorite, Red Rocks Pizza. If you have teenagers, definitely go there. Great food, nice atmosphere and we didn't break the bank for eating out. Once we left and got home, my kids said that this was by far the best vacation ever and that made me want to write this review. I hope my review helps in deciding you on where to stay but mainly, I really hope that enjoy your visit to Washington as much as we did.

Our group of 7, ages 10-70, enjoyed this spacious, very comfortable and clean "home" as our base for long days of sightseeing. The area is bustling with activity, shops, restaurants,Metro and bus commuters and families strolling .like some gentrifying and diverse NYC neighborhoods. ..Sophisticated and exciting in a very nice way. Jarek is available and helpful . The photos are very accurate. Would not hesitate to rent from him and Kate in the future.

This property is awesome, as is it's owner. There also were tons of helpful DC travel books, maps, brochures to help. The condo had EVERYTHING we needed and more - very well appointed. Many extras. The master suite is so welcoming. And, it's all about location, location, location...convenient to everything. If you love to get to know a city, stay here and walk to the central sightseeing areas - White House, Smithsonian, Jefferson, Lincoln, Washington Monuments. We would highly recommend this place.

This is an excellent property. Nearly brand new or recently renovated, fully equipped for a large family such as ours with four kids, this is a perfect location to launch exploration of DC from. Within three and a half easy walking distance from the green/yellow metro line, bus various corners of the pleasant neighborhood, the location is great. The bathrooms are spacious and modern. The house is fully appointed. The landlord is accessible, generous and gracious.

What a great place. Convenient to the Metro which is just a few blocks away with number of restaurants and grocery stores. The house was lot bigger than expected and very nicely furnished, clean and very comfortable. We spent ten days here with my three teenage daughters and my in-laws and had plenty space for all of us. The owners were nice to deal with and provided great tips on where to eat and what to do, so we felt right at home as opposed to being just tourists. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again

My wife and our kids spent a week at this house and very much enjoyed it. The unit is located close to Metro, Restaurants and Shopping, making it super convenient for families with kids. The owners were very helpful throughout the booking process and offered tons of assistance in planning out trip. We would highly recommend this house. Dan
