Year Purchased: 1997
About the owner: The property was purchased by Kip and Sandy Burdick in February of 1997. The home was originally built in 1973 by Floyd and Irene Holt on 28 acres with a barn, stables and pastures. At that time 27th Street was a gravel road and the property was in the country. The home was scheduled for demolition in 1996 when the Burdicks made an offer for the property 'as is'. Restoration took 4 months before the home was livable. With minor exceptions all of the design, remodel and construction was done by the owners. the current neighborhood around the 0.42 acre property was developed from 2001 - 2004.
Kip is a Civil Engineer and Sandy is currently a caregiver. We enjoy golf, skiing, and fishing and camping in the high lakes with our two dogs. We have 5 grandchildren and love going to their athletic events.
