This lovely, recently remodeled and completely upgraded unit is perfect for couples on a honeymoon or vacation or for families with children or seniors that want a top-of-the-line rental with easy ground level parking and access.
The location is ideal for access to golf course or just to relax around the private pool only steps away or walk to nearby bay or snorkeling beach to view turtles and tropical fish.
The master bedroom has a king bed. There is also a second bedroom/private double-sized futon bed area.
And, if you need or want to stay connected we've got FREE wifi and long distance phone calls to anywhere in United States or Canada allowed for our guests!
Keauhou Palena is a lovely, tropically landscaped complex surrounded on multiple sides by the Kona Country Golf Club.
The resort is within walking distance to ocean, shopping center, supermarket, drug store, post office, restaurant and movie theater.
In addition to all the other fun stuff our condo is a centrally located for visiting the Kona coffee plantations in nearby Holualoa, traveling to Volcanoes National Park, experiencing boating excursions off the Keauhou and Kailua-Kona pier/s, shopping at outdoor markets or taking a tour to the top of Mauna Kea and visiting the observatory.
It's only 3 minutes drive to Kahaluu State Park (aptly known as Turtle Beach) where you can snorkel and swim with the turtles and beautiful tropical fish. The park has multiple bathrooms, showers and vendors that sell food and rent snorkel and beach gear.
Keauhou Bay is a short walk away and it's a popular departure point for snorkeling cruises and kayaking. You can also catch a bus from the local Keauhou shopping area to Kailua-Kona town which is a meandering 6 miles of oceanfront driving to the North.

This is the next best thing to having an oceanfront condo! The landscaping made it seem as if you had the whole complex to yourself. Plus the well-appointed kitchen, baths, and master bedroom has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Plus we could just walk to purchase whatever we needed or to get a bite to eat at the golf course. Would we stay here again? You betcha!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

We dreamed of a romantic and adventurous honeymoon, and we certainly experienced it when we went to Hawaii. We visited the whole island in the two weeks we were there, and the best weather was on the Kona coast. The best snorkeling, beaches and attractions were minutes away from the condo. Downtown Kailua Kona offered us a variety of restaurants, gift shops,an ocean view with colorful sunsets and an amazing farmers' market with delicious local fruits. The condo was beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. It was equipped with everything we needed and more; it was very welcoming, private and cozy with a tropical feel. The owner, Radu, was an amazing resource. He helped us tremendously. We have memories of romantic dinners on the lanai, snorkeling with dolphins, tropical fish, and honu, white, black and green sand beaches, hiking through the tropical forest and star gazing on Mauna Kea at over 13,000ft.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
