My husband and I enjoyed greatly our stay at this lovely home in Tubac. The house was and older adobe with lots of charm and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed sitting on the private patio and watching the desert birds and animals. We especially enjoyed taking walks through the neighborhood and ending up at the clubhouse for a little icecream. We hope to return for another stay in the future.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I and small dog enjoyed the roominess of the house. Although we only needed the 1 bed room we simply closed off that part of the house. The weather allowed us to enjoy the outdoor space for relaxing or walking. The location of the house is perfect for day trips to Tubac, Nogales, and Tuscon. Walking and exploring the area was just what we needed for a Christmas Escape.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

The Arizona desert is a new experience for us but we had a great introduction staying in this charming home near Tubac. The house is very well equipped and all on one level, a bonus for our older joints. It was clean and tidy when we arrived and, in the chill of the evenings, we appreciated the quiet furnace. But the best part is the back decks. Breakfast outside watching the birds - cardinals, woodpeckers, hummingbirds - come to the feeders and splash in the tinkling waterfall became a lovely routine. A jackrabbit with enormous ears checked us out. Sunrises and sunsets are glorious. The unheated pool is very inviting - if you belong to the polar bear club at this time of the year. Tubac and the surrounding area offers history, nature, culture and good restaurants - some of them owned by the same family for 40 years or more. The Arts Centre is excellent and those seeking local crafts will be well rewarded. Back in gloomy British Columbia, we pull out our photos and memories of a wonderful holiday. We highly recommend this home - but please leave a time for us to return.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities.

You have decorated in such a warm, comfortable and artistic manner. Everything was welcoming, generous (surprise in the fridge), familiar (USMC here we are), and perfect for a week of gatherings of wedding revelers. Within walking and biking distance to everything on the Resort, as well as the shops of Old Tubac. The kitchen certainly made cooking for the Marines an easy and enjoyable task, and with so many seating areas, alcoves, and groupings - it truly is a great entertaining layout. Thanks for your personal touches, complete instructions and tips for keeping everything in order. No glitches, no complaints! Everything was as described and the pictures did not do the home justice. The house is immaculate and ready for any toddler to 55+ visitor. I needn't have worried about keeping the toddler grandchild occupied - the TV was on for an hour during the week! Pool area, cricket hunting and inspecting every plant kept her very happy around the neighborhood. Thank you for a wonderful stay...hope to stay here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My family and I recently stayed at this property and want to say we had a a wonderful time. The house is well situated for day trips and still in a quiet area. We loved it. The pool was refreshing and the house well maintained. Beds were very comfortable and even the refrigerator had a surprise for us, the kitchen was adequately supplied for your needs. Clean and neat is a good way to describe this house. Great house for kids and older couples as everything is on one level. Hope to stay with them again. Thanks so much the Beier family.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful property from mid April to the end of May. The house was furnished with just about everything we needed and we especially enjoyed the large outdoor living space and pool. There are several great restaurants close by and the best little market in the area. Golf courses are plentiful as well. We would definitely recommend this to friends and family.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Perfect winter rental, exactly as presented and expected. The Tubac location was great for golf and being close to the town was very enjoyable. The house and yard more than met our expectation, very nice and private pool area with perfect view of the mountains. The home was very enjoyable with large square footage encluding a large well equiped kitchen, nice Arizona room and large master bedroom with very comfortable beds, we could not be more pleased. Great location if you want to get away and enjoy the sun. Bring your cowboy hats and boots a must for the saturday night dances.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, sightseeing.

This is our second time to Tubac. My husband and I stayed at a local hotel for my birthday and decided to come back for a week instead of a weekend. The house is immaculate, spacious and well thought out. The bedrooms are one side of the house and you can close of that "wing" and still enjoy the rest of the house if people want to sleep in.There are plenty of towels and TV's and best of all a float for the pool!. The pictures you see are accurate representations of the house and we were very pleased. The views of the Santa Rita Mountains from every window facing east are spectaular and the vistas give a real sense of how vast the desert is. Outdoor living is just as good as the indoor with a BBQ, dining table that seats 6 and a separate sitting area for conversation. The pool was particularly appreciated after a round of golf at the Tubac Resort. All amenities are a short drive if you decide not to cook at home but I have to tell you, the kitchen is really well stocked with all you need to put a meal on the table. Rob and Sue were most gracious in accomodating our requests and we would return in a Arizona minute!Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: I am looking forward to having you as my guest again next year. That east patio is just the greatest.

Spacious, neat and clean. Great location w.r.t.Tubac dining/shopping and golf resort. The views of the Santa Rita Mtns from the back yard, LR, and MBR are wonderful. Ours was the first VRBO rental for this property. The owner went all out to make sure we were comfortable and able to find everything. My wife, and my brother and his dog spent a wonderful Christmas there. My only suggestions for improvement are consolidating the ample cooking and eating utensils into fewer cabinets and drawers - there is so much space in the kitchen, it took a while to find what we needed. I wish my own kitchen had so much room.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, pet owners, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you for your kind words. Tubac is our little slice of heaven. We hope others will enjoy our home as much as you did.
