The stay was excellent! The house was huge and had enough room for everyone to sleep comfortably! Everything we needed was here. All shopping facilities were close by. The kids REALLY enjoyed the fire pit ( roasting marshmellows + telling ghost stories). :) Overall EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT! Thumbs up! Will definitely stay again!

We would suggest a place to hang towels to let them dry and extra light weight blankets would be nice. We were cold and the husbands were too warm. Everything aside we had a wonderful experience. Because of damage to walls when the hooks were broken off the wall, we decided to supply detergent so the guest can wash and dry them to use again. **Review was left in the guestbook in the home*** Thank you so much for allowing 10 bodacious babes to be comfortable with no worries in your beautiful home. Suggestion: 2 floor length mirrors (1 in the bathroom on the upper level and 1 on the lower level master bath). Everything was accommodating. Owners response: Thanks for being our guest and for treating our home perfectly! We had a mirror, which was broken after a month. We decided not to replace it as we have many guests who stay with at least 3 kids or more. Thank you for the compliments and suggestions. :-)

We were celebrating my son's birthday with a trip to Snow Mountain since he's never seen snow. In our party we had 7 adults and 3 children and the house provided more than enough room. This home is in a very nice, quiet neighborhood and was only a few minutes away from Stone Mountain park and perfectly located near everything. We decided to cook in the home and love that it was equipped with the little odds and ends we ended up forgetting at the store (ie., cooking spray!). I definitely recommend this home if you are looking to stay in the Atlanta area and hope to come back again in the future.

Just returned home from our wonderful Christmas trip to Georgia. Your home was the perfect setting for a family Christmas with people from Florida, Georgia, Illinois, and North Carolina. There was plenty of space for everyone. Even though we only have 7 people sleeping in the house, Christmas day we had 18 people there for dinner. There was room for everyone. Having a house instead of a hotel room, really makes a vacation easy! We would book again if we decide to do it again!

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Note that most of the reviews have been written by the owner. Our group had many problems with this rental and could not get the assistance of Home Away in resolving them. Home Away filed a copy of our complaint and sent a copy to the owner. From the outset, I questioned the owner's trustworthiness when she variously referred to herself as the owner and as a representative of the owner. When we arrived, the kitchen floor was sticky, the bottom sheet on the bed in the master bedroom was torn, there was dust on the furniture, long hair was in the jacuzzi tub, the glasses in the kitchen cabinet were cloudy, the linens were cheap, unmatched and in threadbare condition. Then the owner refused to return the full damage deposit, claiming that she was owed the amount of money it cost to replace the entry bathroom bath mat and 2 towels. She claimed that they were urine stained and had to be replaced. She had pictures. Anyone knows that pictures can be staged. All the members of our party can verify that no urine stained anything was left on that bathroom floor. Besides, I saw no evidence of stains in the picture, and I've never heard of urine ruining bath towels or bath mats. We were very careful to at least leave the house in the condition that we found it. The owner also claimed that we left trash in the kitchen and one bathroom trashcan and left coffee grains in the coffee maker. She claimed that two hand towels and two bath towels were missing but said that she was not going to charge for them. The damage deposit less the alleged cost of replacement items (about $56) was returned to my credit card. To the best of my knowledge, her unauthorized use of my card was credit card fraud. The owner and I had an unresolved dispute over damages. Her solution was to have the reduced deposit credited to my card. It is my understanding that once an injured party accepts a settlement, it is assumed that the issue is closed. I contacted my bank about the issue and could have pursued it. However, it wasn’t worth the time and effort I had already put into the matter.

Owner response: The first thing we teach our kids is to be responsible for your actions. And if you break it you buy it. I don't want to keep anyone's money, that's why the policies are clearly stated in the contract & welcome book. I appreciate everyone who leaves a review online & in our guest book at the home, where many guests choose to write a review because once they arrive back home to a "normal life" they will get busy & forget to leave a review. Yes, I transfer the reviews from the book word for word, good or bad to the online website. When you stay feel free to read the reviews in the book on the table. :-) FACT: I did not return $53.47 of her deposit for the following reasons: This guest stayed December 13-16 and is just now leaving a review. I made contact with her about the damages immediately after she left & almost everyday after that until she finally returned my phone calls 10 days later. The guest filed a complaint with Homeaway & they let her know I had substantial evidence (photos & emails from her) & she had no validity to her claims against me. Her bank, if it were true that I committed fraud in the use of her credit card, would've had her file criminal charges against me. FACT: I never see anyone's credit card information & all transactions are processed through Homeaway's online Merchant not through me. This guest had 18 people staying overnight, we only allow 15. I made an exception because she called me two days before check in to say she needed to add extra guests who decided to come last minute. I bent over backwards to accommodate her & it is unfortunate that she would attempt to slander me & lie about my home. I won't let this stop me from trying to accommodate others as most people are honest, hard working and appreciate people who are flexible & accommodating. I sure know I do. No parties are allowed, yet she had a party at the home without notifying owners for approval, which she admitted to in an email to me, she left her decorations & tape everywhere, food was left in the home, urine soaked rug & towels, missing towels & washcloths. I never found the sheet that was torn either. Prior guests are amazed at the organized & labeled linen closet. Instead of checking out on time they choose to invite her brother who lives locally over for coffee. This is what the guest told me was the reason for her late check out.

Thank you for renting your home. Everything was perfect for us, our children and 8 grandchildren (ages 2 months to 12 yrs). There was plenty of room for the kids to run and play outside. The house was very neat and clean. This was our first time renting from VRBO, and was very hesitant,but I will definitely recommend your home to my friends, and if we are in the area would love to rent again. Thanks again..

Thank you for the cozy rental. We enjoyed our stay amd this house was perfect for ur two families. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace during the chilly nights-thanks for calling me back about it. One note: we ran out of toilet paper- there were no extra rolls to be found, but not a big deal! The experience was exciting. The view is great & a very quiet in this area. My brother loved the XBox and I loved the games. The chairs in the kitchen's front bar often fell but it was still comfy. And thanks for labeling the remotes or you would of never seen them again.

What an awesome experience this has been! Thank you for opening your home for us. I was here for a conference, but I usually have to travel alone. This time around, I was able to bring the entire family and combined conference with vacation. The family had a blast and wants us to do this yearly now. The home is kept clean and well organized and makes you feel at home. Even though we only communicated by phone or text, it was just as in person. I will surely come back!! Great time in the ATL. My family and I really enjoyed stone mountain,the world of coca cola,lake Lanier,CNN tour, etc... I will love to say thank you to the singleton family for allowing us to feel at home. You are a wonderful person and it's good to know that there are still good people in America. We couldnt ask for more than what was presented to us when we arrived. So again thank you. Now to the readers...the house was just like home everything was there directions to things you need , parks and museums. I've stayed in different homes every year and i must say It was the cleanest house I've been.The children love the movies and game, with the parents loving the deck. We came for Atlanta Fest at Stone Mountain. Thank you for the pass to enter the park as well. Your home is beautiful and is perfect size for our crew. The 15 yr old boys enjoyed video games and all the children enjoyed the movies. The small touches such as the welcome basket and fresh cut flowers is so thoughtful. The welcome notebook is very helpful with directions. Thank you! The beds are very comfortable and the home is very clean. Great Location, Great Price. Quiet getaway close to Atlanta and Stone Mountain. We really enjoyed the deck. Great living room and kitchen space. Clean and comfortable. We had 8 in the house for one night and could have slept more, yet the house was spacious and never seemed crowded. Easy drive to Athens or Atlanta. Enjoyed an all day trip the Stone Mountain (thanks for entrance and parking pass), Great refrigator and stove. Plenty of dishes. Nice Laundry room. The money we saved on dining out and the convenience of home, made the experience not only great, but more economical than hotels and dining out. Highly recommend if you are looking for a family get away and would to spent quality time with your family.

Our family of 9 ranging in age from 5 to 80 years old stayed at this home for a week to attend my husband's Graduation with his Master's degree. I can't say enough about Chaun (the owner). She was beyond kind and gracious and met our every need, even when we accidentally set off the house alarm! Everything you could possibly need was already there. It was so homey and comfortable for our family. We really enjoyed relaxing in the jetted tub after a long day of being a tourist. Cooking was a breeze in the well equipped kitchen. Our 5 year old loved the xbox and the Aunts and Grandmas enjoyed the puzzle we brought and set up on the card table we found in the garage. Comfy beds, lots of space, and so clean. Why would you ever stay in a hotel in Atlanta ever again!

I am a study trip coordinator for Korean students. This time we made our journey to Atlanta, GA. My students and I, along with my co-teachers stayed at this lovely house and we had a great time. We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful neighborhood. It was very relaxing especially for the city dwellers like us. My students would go for a walk and feed the horses near the pond. My boy students loved the spacious back yard where they could play balls and tags. Moreover, the landlady was so welcoming and hospitable that we always felt very warm and comfortable. I hope others can also enjoy their vacation at this friendly place!

We have had a great time here in this lovely house! My students loved the big yard and the friendly neighborhood. They would go down the street and touch the neighbors horses and the large dog would come visit the kids daily. The home was convenient to all areas of Atlanta as we were here for a month and drove all over. The owner was so helpful in setting us up with area schools for our students to visit and share our culture with them and they with us. Thanks you so much for having us!

We had a great time while staying in this house. We rent vacation homes all the time and I must say that this home was one of the best ones we have stayed in. It was very clean and organized, and the owner of the house made sure we had everything we needed. There was even a welcome basket with goodies and a note. the home is very well decorated and spacious. Its a beautiful home!! If back in the area we will definitely book again. The home is absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the back porch, the DVD’s, Xbox and board games. Although we did not use the fireplace or fire pit it was nice to have the option along with the firewood and starter. The home had all the essentials and the description of the home was exactly as described. The property was clean and well maintained. The home was very spacious and clean The owner was super friendly and I would recommend this home to friends, family etc. Nice Location! The home was not far from Publix, restaurants, Stone Mountain etc. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and we encourage everyone to take advantage of this beautiful home and we wish the owners great success. The home is absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the back porch, the DVD’s, Xbox and board games. Although we did not use the fireplace or fire pit it was nice to have the option along with the firewood and starter. The home had all the essentials and the description of the home was exactly as described. The property was clean and maintained although the kitchen floor needed to be mopped. The home was very spacious and clean. The owner was super friendly and I would recommend this home to friends, family etc. Nice Location! The home was not far from Publix, restaurants, Stone Mountain etc. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and we encourage everyone to take advantage of this beautiful home and we wish the owners great success. Thank you and we hope to visit again soon!

We have purchased a large sectional sofa and added a flat screen 46 inch TV and much more! It's guests like your family who make what we do enjoyable! You were wonderful guest who treated our home as if it were yours and we thank you so much! Please come back soon! I have spoken to our maid and made her aware to be sure to use the checklist as she cleans to be sure nothing is missed. This vacation rental was wonderful with nothing but nice surprises such as the welcome basket/note and the owners folowing up to make sure that we had arrived safely and to make sure everthing was okay. The home is beautiful and we felt extremely safe and my granddaughters were able to run and play outside in the big open yard. They really enjoyed building a fire at night after a fun and adventure filled day at Stone Mountain/Snow Mountain. It is conveniently located near the area attractions and places such as WalMart and Publix when you need to run out and make a last minute purchase. We left knowing that this would be a place we would return to in the future.

We had a wonderful family Thanksgiving vacation at this beautiful home. The owners were very thoughtful in their attention to detail in the home, starting with a lovely gift basket on our arrival. They left an informative informational booklet that included brochures and phone numbers to various local establishments, and the parking pass to Stone Mountain Park saved us quite a bit of money. We will definitely recommend this home to others.

We used this house for a sorority retreat and it made us feel right at home. Everything was clean and nicely set up - including the welcome basket that awaited us when we got there. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and the house was close to Stone Mountain and to other attractions in the area - including shopping and restaurants. The owner was very accessible for questions and concerns. I would definitely recommend this to those looking for a relaxing getaway.

Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We enjoyed staying in your house. We have found that we get so much more time together as a family in a house than we would in a hotel, and it is so much more comfortable. I stayed at this home and it was so beautiful! It looks like a model home inside and it is spacious. The yard is huge and you really feel like you are at a country resort. I loved the kitchen, it was huge and had everything I needed in it. The fireplace was wonderful in the great room and the vaulted ceilings were really nice on a cold evening with the fire going. The owners were very helpful and left lots of information for things to do in the area like Stone Mountain. They even left the pass to get into Stone Mountain which was really nice. I loved Old Towne Conyers too, very homey. I would highly recommend this property for anyone coming to Atlanta. It isn't far from the interstate and close to some great malls too.

It was indeed a pleasure to stay at the home. The home is very spacious and open, as it is not cluttered with a lot of stuff. So my getting around the home was easy and uncomplicated. The outside of the home is beautiful and I must say I am a fan of brick. The deck on the back of the house is a good place to relax and enjoy the view. It seems as though one is higher off the ground than one really is. I think it was nice to lean over and look down and around. The inside of the home is well put together. I resided in one of the bed rooms upstairs and was totally satisfied with the room space and the layout. I had no trouble sleeping as the neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were respectful. I have stayed in the home many times now and I still enjoy every stay. I even took pictures of their home on my first visit there and showed them to my friends where I currently reside.

I enjoyed each of my stays at this home. The owners were extremely accomodating and very kind. Visiting from the Pacifc Northwest, I appreciated the genuine desire to make sure my kids and I felt at home. There were plenty of linen (and nice ones) and pots, nice washer and dryer, comfortable mattresses...all the things you need to feel right at home. The large backyard made the kids mouth drop! I also liked the fact that we were somewhat secluded, but not far from the Mall!!
