Tulsa surgeon's personal Oklahoma City vacation home can be yours for short term stays. (2 night minimum, 3 month maximum). This lovely home is situated in a golf course development on a quiet cul-de-sac in west Oklahoma City. It is 30 miles to the OU stadium, 7 miles to Bricktown, 2 miles to White Water Bay Waterpark, and a quick 1 mile to the brand new Oklahoma City Outlet Mall. For the FAA students and executives, it is 8 miles from FAA and Will Rogers Airport. With Interstate 40 and the Kilpatrick Turnpike just out the backdoor of this property, there is nothing in Oklahoma City that isn't easy to get to!
Beautifully and tastefully decorated, this roomy two-story home boasts four nice-sized bedrooms (all upstairs) 2.5 baths, 2 car oversized garage, two large living areas, two dining areas, large island kitchen with stainless appliances (2 ovens!) food pantry and lots of solid wood cabinetry. Equipped with all the major appliances and every small appliance you can think of including gourmet coffee makers, bread maker, crockpot, mixer, blender, food processors (big and small), waffle iron, pressure cooker, electric can opener, brick pizza oven, you will have everything at your fingertips to prepare the finest of gourmet meals. A full set of fine porcelain china and crystal is in the china cabinet in the formal dining room for upscale entertaining, and everyday dinnerware service for 16+ is in the kitchen (dishes, flatware, glassware, etc.) Plenty of bakeware and cookware is provided as well. All furnishings and amenities are quality, coordinated, clean, and like new. Bedrooms are fully furnished and dressed with custom high thread count linens and window treatments. A gorgeous, massive King sized AICO bedroom set furnishes the master bedroom, and QUALITY queen sized bedroom sets furnish bedrooms 2 and 3. Lovely!! The house is perfectly decorated, beautifully furnished, and contains EVERYTHING you can possibly imagine needing. I woke up every morning to a most excellent cup of coffee on the back patio. We felt so at home here. The entire weekend we kept joking about moving in--serious, I wish they would let me move in!!! :)Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

I thought the house was perfect for our family gathering to celebrate 2 milestone birthdays. Karyn and Marti were both gracious hosts and the small touches were what made it feel more like a friends home than a vacation rental. From the breakfast items provided to the chocolates on the bed to the games that we played together at night a wonderful time was had by all. If we are back in the area would definitely stay again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We looked at several VRBO rental's in OKC, and this one was by far the best. When we arrived they had placed some requested food and drinks in the fridge for us. The house is outfitted with TONS of movies to watch and lots of interesting novels as well. There are board games and video games, and lots of other little stuff to keep anyone occupied. There is a grocery store just a couple of short miles down the road and a gas station right around the corner. All in all we will come to this house again if we are going to be staying in OKC!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We stayed at this home during my husband's extended stay in OKC for his kidney transplant. We rented the house for one week. Upon arrival, we had bottled water, bread, milk, eggs, bacon, bagels and some fruit awaiting us. We have used VRBO previously for vacation homes, and we have never had that kind of hospitality in any other home we rented! House was very comfortable and homey, with all of the ammenites you would need. Just like home. We had one issue with a shower, all it took was one phone call, and owner had problem fixed by the time we returned that evening. House is very clean, it is well stocked with kitchen utensils, towels, a washer and dryer, and Wi-Fi. The comfy recliners in the living room were a great place for my husband to sit an recuperate after his surgery. We also appreciated the TV in the master (and all) bedroom(s). It's also nice that it is located approx. 10 min from the Outlet Mall. I would not hesitate to reccomend this home to anyone looking for a rental house in OKC.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

We loved this property - It was a combined family reunion of our Houston. Baltimore, Okla City and Norman family members. It was close enough to those who live nearby to come and join us for meals and close to the airport for those flying in -- We celebrated our grandson's first birthday there and he got to meet his great-grandmother. Everything was as advertised and more. The homeowner went out of her way to make us feel welcome and provide everything we needed. We communicated several times before arriving and the owner was always helpful. The property was very clean and well maintained and in a nice neighborhood. We loved the lists of where to find things in the house and the lists of activities and restaurants were great too.. We cooked several meals there and found everything we needed. We highly recomment this property to others and hope to stay there again someday as one of our grandchildren will be attending OU next year!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We recently stayed at the "Serendipity" for five nights and found the home to be clean, spacious, comfortable, and I would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Everything was included and there was some things that I have never found in a VRBO home before such as bacon, eggs, bread, soft drinks and much more. As far as the house goes, it was very clean, well appointed, and the beds are very, very, comfortable. We also found the house to be very accessible to shopping and grocery stores. And maybe the best part is Karyn--always available to answer questions and make your visit more enjoyable. We'll be back.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

This place is awesome. In fact, I am making reservations now for next year because I want to make sure we get it. It's so much better than a hotel. Very very comfortable. The beds are AMAZING!!!!!! We had a great time playing with the WII and we also enjoyed a few bottles of vino from the nice wine cabinet. We grilled steaks one night and enjoyed breakfast there every morning. I really can't say enough good things about this house!!!!!!! Karyn is awesome and helpful in every way!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

This is one classy & comfortable home. The owners were a joy to work with, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay over the Thanksgiving weekend. All of our family in the OKC area was able to be together. The home is nicely furnished, including having everything you could think of for cooking and serving a big meal.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

We throughly enjoyed our time in this home. We were there for a wedding and the accommodations were perfect. We have rented several homes on VRBO- but this one was by far the most organized and helpful - more than equipped with anything we could need. About the owner: I (Marti) am a wife, Mom, Grandma (Marmie) entrepreneur and business owner. Hubby Jon is a daddy, grandfather,business owner, and orthopedic surgeon practicing out of Bailey Medical Center in Owasso, Oklahoma. Jon, in fact, is one of the four founding physicians of Bailey Medical Center. , Because we both were blessed with the gift of hospitality, it was our dream to one day open a bed and breakfast. We are currently living in our Victorian 'bed and breakfast' we built on 25 acres overlooking a lake in Owasso - putting the finishing touches on it before beginning construction of our permanent family home. In the meantime, we enjoy entertaining friends and family in our soon-to-be bed and breakfast and spoiling vacation renters in our OKC vacation home.
Why the Owner Chose Oklahoma City:
The Oklahoma City home was our 'dream home' before relocating to Owasso. We kept this home so we would have a place to stay when we got homesick for OKC and all it has to offer.
