On your vacation you will enjoy all the comforts of home, while being located in one of the prime areas of Hilton Head Plantation. Our Private, clean, family friendly, fully furnished, one level home, offers 1,700 square feet. Our home was completely renovated in the summer of 2010. Lots of windows and skylights make the house sunny and light, yet offer privacy via the surrounding foliage. Grill and backyard furniture designed to make entertaining outside as easy as in.

Our home is located in a prime location of Hilton Head Plantation gated residential community, containing 4,000 landscaped acres, nature preserves, private beach, beach side recreation area, and four golf courses. Our home offers a quiet, private location with the ability to walk through the backyard to the bike / pedestrian path that lead to the pool, tennis courts, playground, nature trails, private beach.
Distance to Beach / Playground / Dolphin Head Recreation = 1.75 miles
Our home is within walking, biking, or driving distance, 1.75 mile, to the most private / quiet beach on all of Hilton Head Island, Pine Island Beach. (Pine Island Beach is connected to Dolphin Head Recreation. Dolphin head recreation includes a 1 and 1/2 mile walk down Port Royal Sound, playground for the children, pavilion with grills and picnic tables, etc.)

Grocery Stores, Restaurants, and Shops are plentiful and right at the entrance to Hilton Head Plantation; Publix, Harris Teeter, Wal Mart. Walgreens, Barnes and Noble, Atlanta Bread Company. Local favorite restaurants The Boat House, Chart House, Hudsons, Crazy Crab are within biking distance of our home, right outside the back gate.

Our vacation at this lovely home was perfect. Everything we could possibly need was thoughtfully provided by our helpful hosts. The property was clean, well maintained and ideally located. The owners were exceedingly helpful and having a private beach right in the Plantation was a treat. We had dinner at the Old Fort Pub and it was fantastic. We can't wait to come back.Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, families with teenagers.

My family recently stayed at this wonderful home that included fun for everyone. My nieces and nephew and enjoyed riding the bikes through the trials and to the pool and tennis courts. We were ever so thankful that the owners even had family games available for us to utilize while inside. The description of the place was accurately described and equipped with the listed amenities. We celebrated my father's 71st birthday while vacationing in the home, and my dad really enjoyed having his reflective moment outside by the fountain and lit area. The owner gave me an excellent recommendation for a bakery and a ample listing of activities for all of us, all of which were awesome. The restaurants recommended were excellent as was the service received. I thoroughly appreciated the personal assistance given to me by the owner and his willingness to ensure we all had a wonderful vacation. The property is well maintained and the amenities are too vast to mention. My nephew continues to remind me that he thought the basketball goal was the icing on the cake since he was finally able to beat me. We are currently looking forward to vacationing again next year. This site and the location, and did I mention the owner's helpfulness, made my planning a breeze. Thanks so much for making both the vacation and the celebration a success!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My husband and I had always heard great things about Hilton Head Island, but our week there was amazing! Believe me, you don't want to spend your time on Hilton Head in some grimey, overpriced hotelroom. These owners have it all! Beach gear, grills, towels, nice beds, bicycles, DVR, even a hammock! The house itself is beautiful, but don't plan on spending much time indoors, with so much to see and do! Hilton Head Plantation is safe, kid-friendly, but quiet enough for a romantic getaway. The private beaches are awesome!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

Spent a week here with 6 girlfriends and none of us has anything bad to say about our Hilton Head experience at this home! The house is spacious yet cozy, the seven of us didn't feel cramped at all! TVs in every room, WiFi came in handy when one of us had some work pop up, and boy did we love having beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. provided so we didn't have to drag all that stuff across country with us! Two of us are avid runners and thoroughly enjoyed quick access to the scenic trails while others occupied the tennis courts. Everyone we talked to was friendly and helpful, and the nearby shops have everything you'll need and more! Most beautiful beaches on the East Coast! Five stars all the way around!Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

House was immaculate and well-stocked. My family enjoys cycling, so we were happy bicycles were provided, and the bike trails are beautiful! Beds were comfy and everyone enjoyed having a TV in his own room. Put the grill to good use and enjoyed cocktails on the beach with the chairs, umbrella and cooler provided. Owners ensured our experience was flawless. Will definitely stay here again next time my family visits Hilton Head!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

About the owner: We are a family of three, with two pomeranians, that live on Hilton Head Island for the majority of the year. We only rent our home during the school holidays, at which time we travel to visit our extended family.

We love living on Hilton Head Island! We find we have everything right on our doorstep. It is like being on holiday everyday. We live in Hilton Head Plantation, which is a private residential community, situated on over 4000 acres in a natural setting, between Port Royal Sound and Skull Creek on the Intracoastal Waterway. This provides a nice calm, family orriented environment that is close to all the amenities Hilton Head Island, Savannah and the Lowcountry have to offer.
