My husband and I got married this past October and were not going on our honeymoon right away so we took an extended weekend out in Southold. This home is absolutely gorgeous. It is beautifully kept and the homeowners were a pleasure. The kitchen is great if you like to cook, the backyard is beautiful, it is right on the lake and it is a short walk/ride to the beach down the block, not to mention it is a short ride to vineyards, farms etc. We had a wonderful time at this home and would definitely come back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend and had a wonderful experience. The cottage is perfectly outfitted with a fabulous view. It's location is great, just a few minutes walk to a terrific beach and close to all sorts of restaurants and farm stands. having rented many vacation homes this was by far the cleanest and most charming that i have stayed in .the views of the water and forest were picturesque the cottage had all the convinces necessary for a great get away , all activities were 5 to 10 minutes away.it was a great weekRecommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

stayed the weekend,better than I'd expected .Perfect for a couple or two. Two ample bedrooms,and just wonderfully furnished. Great beach,in the middle of wine country,and as peacefully as imaginable. Just fabulous!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
