This Charleston style non-Smoking home located on a quiet street with larger homes is beautifully decorated in soft light colors which are very relaxing. The furnishings are casual and comfortable with custom bed and window treatments. Large bead board foyer and hallway lead to a spacious den and open kitchen with granite countertops and large eat on bar, all which view only marsh, no houses. Separate dining room has french doors leading to the front porch. The view from the front of the home is of the golf course. Also on this level is one bedroom and bath. Hardwood floors are throughout the downstairs. The home has a very private feel as the windows we chose for the side are old fashioned high windows which let in lots of light, but maintain privacy.

Four large porches adorn the two story house. The two back porches are oversized and screened and have an uninterrupted view of the marsh. The view is beautiful as there is marsh as far as you can see. Many hours have been spent enjoying low country boils and relaxing in the rocking chairs. The two front porches overlook Ocean Creek Golf Course designed by Davis Love III. This is the newer area of Fripp with most of the island's amenities.

Upstairs are three bedrooms and two baths. All bedrooms lead to one of the porches. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and oversized master bath with a claw foot tub,large shower, and separate vanities. Washing machine and dryer are located near the bedrooms on this level for convenience. Also on this level is a small office with a view. The house has wireless internet access. On the lowest level is the enclosed garage, outside shower for those sandy beach days, and an abundance of wildlife, especially deer. The home is on a quiet street which is great for kids to ride their bikes and is also a great place to walk. We are a short distance to Veranda Beach pool, the Beach Club pools, the marina, and the ocean.


Fripp Island is a non-commercial, wonderful get-away to relax, yet activities such as golf, tennis, fishing, boating, planned activities, etc. make it a fun place to be for the whole family. Historic Beaufort, South Carolina and Hunting Island are a very short drive. Summer is perfect, but Fripp is also wonderful all year round with many very pleasant fall, winter, and spring days for golf trips, non-crowded get-aways and family spring break vacations.
