  My husband and I stayed here along with our two small children and 2 other couples. We were beyond impressed by the comfort and location of this amazing property. The home is clean, contemporary and ultimately so inviting. The gourmet kitchen is stunning and a great place to gather while cooking with a glass of wine overlooking the giant deck and private cove. Bedrooms are spacious, bedding is SO comfy and the ensuite bathrooms are fantastic. We also rented the 1 bedroom adjoining apartment and found it to be as stylish and accommodating as the main house. Did I mention that there are gorgeous views from every room in the entire house? Pictures don't do it justice. It's essentially an impressive great room with a wall of windows. So cool. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious reprieve at the coast. Plus, the owner is very responsive and easy to work with. We hope to revisit someday!

  The view is breathtaking. My family was mesmerized by the sound and feel of the ocean; it was like hovering above it in a glass and steel fortress. The cove changed with the tides and sunlight. I felt like I was in a private National Park setting. The house is stunning! Great design, a very modern and user friendly home, the house was almost as amazing as the location. Both levels were top notch as were the furnishings. There was a huge TV in the main part of the house, but the views were so specular we never turned it on! What a stunning place. There was a lot to do. There are amazing hikes in the area. The village of Neskowin below should be on the list of Historic places. But we did not venture out much because with such great views it was hard to leave. We found we wanted to get back to enjoy the view some more when we did. Thank you for sharing it and being so kind and easy to do business with. We will be back and be sure to tell all our friends.

  If you love to see and hear the ocean and appreciate quality and excellence, this is the vacation home for you. Incredibly clean and efficient, breathtaking views and ocean sounds....wonderful showers in the master suites, a gourmet kitchen lacking nothing....beds that are so comfortable you will go home and buy one (we actually did!)...and a very accomodating and communicative home owner, Kent...this place has it all. Golfing, Newport Aquarium, Lincoln City Glass (make your own glass float, bowl or paperweight), Tilamook, Antique Shops, and whale watching will make your stay even more eventful...if you can tear yourself from the ocean views of this incredible home. Wow.

  My family stayed August 13-19 2012. Great location with excellent views and amenities. Modern appliances with cooking area facing the ocean sunsets. Super comfortable beds with sounds of crashing waves in the background to lull you to sleep. Owner was easily accessible and very helpful. My wife would have liked curtains to draw in the bedroom so she could sleep in but that is minor and did not bother me because I woke up and enjoyed a nice cup of coffee overlooking the ocean. Willamette Valley is only 1 hour east and in my opinion a must do day trip. Views were as spectacular as the Pinot Noirs! Usually a bit foggy in the mornings but evenings were spectacular. Thank you for the great vacation experience.

  The pictures on VRBO do not do this rental justice. The owner should post a video of the waves crashing into the coastline instead. - We rented this place for a 4 day vacation: Two adults, two children, and one dog. The house is very comfortable. The views are phenomenal. It was a 15 minute walk down a steep hill to a wonderful beach (A bit longer on the way back). We made the trip twice a day for an extended play time on the beach. There aren't any stores in Neskowin so we headed down to Lincoln City and the Safeway store 11 miles south. We also did a trip up to Pacific City to climb the sand dunes and eat at the Pelican brew pub. Aside from the beach, we went to a glass blowing store in Lincoln City (Jennifer Sears glass studio) and blew our own glass floats. Beautiful! Every evening we cooked dinner in a well appointed kitched and then roasted smores on a small firepit located on the deck. After a day at the beach, it was no trouble to get a good night of sleep while listening to the ocean.

  My husband and I recently spent an extended weekend at this beautiful contemporary home to celebrate my birthday, and it exceeded our expectations. The views from every room (and the hot tub) are simply incredible. The home itself is just fabulous -- very well laid-out, lovingly furnished, and a pleasure to enjoy. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was extremely well-appointed...frankly, we were in heaven! We felt so spoiled, with three days in a row of glorious early summer sunshine. On our second morning, we awoke to find a grey whale feeding just outside our cove, only a few hundred yards from the deck. It continued to feed for nearly an hour, and it was such a gift to watch it surface, spout and dive. It was our first visit to this part of the Oregon coast, and we were delighted to find many wonderful cafes and restaurants within a twenty-minute drive. We explored the surrounding areas and found wonderful cliff-side hiking and some great spots for what seemed like endless miles of beach strolls. We can recommend this home without reservation, and look forward to visiting again. By the way, although there were only two of us on this trip, this home would be completely comfortable for two couples, with separate identical master suites and two areas for watching TV or lounging. And, I suspect that a couple of kids would be delighted to "bunk down" in the lower level den for the night.

  This magnificent home was the setting for my 50th birthday weekend. I searched for months to find the perfect location & home, and this beauty did not disappoint. Upon arrival, we spent the next several minutes touring the home and saying "WOW!" - The home is contemporary with high quality furnishings, a well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds with lovely linens. We would not hesitate to recommend this home and would most certainly stay there again. The views from every room of the home are spectacular, and the sound of the ocean waves will lull you to sleep. There is an awesome Bose stereo on the main level. Don't forget your IPOD as there is a hook up to play your favorite tunes. The owner was great to work and ever so helpful. We highly, highly recommend this lovely home & setting!

  We enjoyed the most wonderful, warm, sunny weekend in this home! All we did was sit on the porch in the sun, eat in the gourmet kitchen, and sleep with the doors open, listening to the sounds of the waves. The view is breathtaking! We cannot wait to return. What a hidden treasure on the Oregon Coast! It was the perfect home for two couples, sharing a weekend away. Two master suites, each with their own walk in shower. Very quiet location. Plenty of room to relax together or alone. 20 minute walk to the beach or 3 minute drive. And we could even bring our dogs! So perfect!

  A wonderful place for an amazing week with our family at the coast. Everyone in our party - of all ages - loved the home, including the amazing showers and beds, kitchen amenities, ocean breezes and amazing views, especially watching the sunset on our one clear night from the hot tub. The next morning was a spectacular sunrise and full rainbow! But even the overcast days were lovely with music on the Bose speaker and fires in the fireplace. We spotted the bald eagles several times, heard the woodpeckers, walked down the road along the creek and along the close beach. Was also a great jumping-off point for sightseeing to the aquarium, lighthouses, antiquing, and hikes. We had lots of great meals at the house and Hawk Creek Cafe right there in Neskowin was our favorite restaurant of the trip. If you like amazing views, modern furnishings, comfort and class then this is the home for you!
