Not Like Any Other Cottage. This place feels like your own second home. Check out the reviews. This house is a great deal,close to everything: golf, surfing, beach, sound, fishing, great restaurants, a clubhouse and swimming pool. Two bedrooms each with a queen bed - one has a half bath attached, the other a sitting area and work space. Renovated and updated with original art works, stained glass and wood floors. Open floor plan is great for entertaining with the dining area with a table that opens to seat 12 that is open to the bar area, kitchen, and living room. A sitting area on the sunporch is the perfect place to get away to read, relax and have your morning coffee. You will feel right at home watching the HDTV or sitting on the deck having a refresher. So bring your friends, check in and relax. You'll love watching the sunset over the sound glowing through the large full wall of windows. Mediterranean flair with a little beach decoration. Treat yourself to a fantastic cottage with all amenities including a Keurig coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher, two televisions, internet access and a Wii. Relax because towels and bed linens included, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper and paper towels. This is an easy house to settle in and enjoy. The beach is within walking distance approximately 4 blocks but also an easy drive close to dozens of beach accesses. Clubhouse and pool approximately 1/2 mile Soundside. 3 miles from Jeanette's Pier, 1 mile to Jockey's Ridge, 5+ miles to Roanoke Island. 3 miles to Tanger Outlet Center.

This house was wonderful! The weekend we were there was a bit rainy which cut down on the beach time, but we didn't mind at all - we had a great time just relaxing at the house! It's adorable and cozy and perfect for a weekend getaway. It's right across the street from the sound so there is a nice view of sunsets over the water from the deck. It was a little harder to get to the beach than I thought it would be, but with a car it's not a problem. I would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Nice quiet, relaxing getaway for my family. We have extremely busy schedules with work and sports with children and we were looking for a place to relax for a few days...this place was wonderful. Very clean and well maintained and stocked with lots of extras. Nice view of the sound. Would recommend getting back porch repaired so it can be used. Neighborhood is very quiet and close to many activities including Jockey's Ridge, shops, restaurants. Will definitely consider renting again in the future and will recommend to friends.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

As stated earlier we rented in June 2012. The internet access was limited in June but on our second stay in September 2012 I was able to get on the internet with no problems. Once again this is a great vacation rental.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

We love this cozy and comfortable home for our getaways. Our first stay was June 2012 and we were lucky enough to get a second stay during Labor Day week. I recommend this vacation site to couples, individuals and families. I can't wait to vacation here next year. We enjoyed staying at the house. It was cozy and we loved being so close to all of the attractions. We enjoyed crabbing in the canal behind the house. The owner was helpful in answering all of our questions. The home was equipped with everything we needed. All the comforts of home while you are on vacation! This home had everything I needed, and more for our vacation stay with our three children. Kitchen was fully stocked with all appliances that could possibly be needed...loved the Keurig coffee maker!! The crabbing was a lot of fun in the backyard canal. The location was close to shopping for groceries or any other fun stuff. The owner was very quick to respond to an ant trail (due to recent rains) and left traps immediately. Kids enjoyed the Wii on one night when we spent it at home. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood!!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing.

I was a little scared about what the house would be like because it was so affordable....but it went way beyond my expectations. Plenty of room,very comfortable and homey. Loved the quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Went crabbing in the backyard..watched the sunset over the sound. This property was very clean and comfortable. Our only problem was getting internet connection which the owner was aware of from previous renters. Property has great views of the Roanoke Sound (front) and canal (back). Shopping outlets less than five minutes away.
