This residence is in walking distance to CBS Studios, the Los Angeles Farmer's Market and The Grove Mall (home to NBC's “Extra!”).

Located on a tree-lined residential street in the midst of some of best restaurants, shopping, clubs and cultural venues, this two-bedroom, one-bath apartment is hard to beat for location. This unit is located on the first floor of an intimate 1920s Spanish-style building. A living room sleeper-sofa allows this apartment to comfortably host six guests.

The open floor plan has a spacious living room which looks out onto the tree-lined street. It's decorated with contemporary furnishings, including an L-shaped queen sleeper-sofa and flat-screen television, but keeps the charm of this vintage building with the decorative original fireplace mantel, wood floors, floor-length curtains and wall sconces. The separate dining room is open to the living room via a large archway. Along with the circular-flow access of the kitchen, this style of apartment is comfortable for entertaining guests. The dining room has a contemporary dining table with seating for six and a separate nook, which is furnished with a writing desk, chair and a coat closet. Two original built-in glass door cabinets accent the dining room. The kitchen has been recently remodeled in oak cabinetry and granite countertops. A built-in desk also doubles as a breakfast bar. Appliances include a stainless steel gas stove/oven and built in microwave, a stainless steel dishwasher, a refrigerator and customary countertop appliances. Saltillo floor tiles complete the warm atmosphere.

Down the hallway, you'll find built-in linen cabinets, a coat closet and a private laundry room, which also accesses the backyard. The master bedroom is at the end of the hallway and is furnished with a king-sized bed, a wall-mounted flat-screen television, a ceiling fan, a large dressing mirror and closet. The master bedroom looks out onto the grassy backyard. The guest room is mid-hallway, across from the bathroom. It is bright and cheery with two twin beds dressed in red duvets and accented with a bright orange dressing mirror and ceiling fan. It has its own closet. The bathroom maintains original hexagon floor tiles typical of the 1920s, a tub, a separate shower stall and a new pedestal sink.

This apartment has complimentary wi-fi, cable, central heat and a wall-mounted air-conditioning unit in the living room. One parking space is provided for a medium- to small-sized car in the building garage. Note the garage door is manual. Guests are also invited to use the yard, patio and barbeque at 335 N. Orange Grove Avenue, next door. Dogs allowed with an extra fee.
