  Our family booked the 2 bedroom/2 bath. We were escorted on early arrival to the 4th floor with a nice view of Galata Tower. Since we are very fussy about cleanliness and quality, the Galata Flats apartment did not let us down. It is very clean with large comfortable beds, bathrooms, and a well supplied kitchen. Even beautiful flowers were planted on the window ledges. Some light, daily cleaning from the staff kept us worry free. As we quickly learned, the location was fantastic with a short walk up some nearby stairs to the famous long, shopping, pedestrian street of Istiklal Cadddesi (Independence Avenue) to Taksim Square. One day we took a short walk across the bridge to the famous Spice Market and up to the Grand Bazaar where old souk style shopping was an experience to never forget. Thanks to wonderful Cevdet (the owner) who loaned us his metro card and great directions, we were able to use the public transportation to get us home again. There were plenty of taxis and restaurant choices of everything from pizza to Turkish food. Thanks for a fantstic, short four days. We will come back again for more time and relaxation.

  Wonderful location, beautiful people, incredible apt, daily cleaning and best for me fast and reliably free internet. Beds, towels, toiletries all were way above my expectations really! A sure yes to all planning a vacation in this great city..

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  recently renovated, beautiful building with glass sided modern elevator and daily housekeeping service! Sizes are (at least 3 times) than a regular hotel room-suite but w fully equipped kitchen. heating individually controlled for comfort level not to mention around the clock reception staff who also speak english. very reliable and fast wifi, etc. Last, unbeatable location. if ever back to this city, definetely here, for sure! thank you all..

  We are a family of seven and we felt just at home in Galata Flats. It fit us all quite nicely. The location is great, just a short walk to central Istanbul. There is a full service kitchen that we used to cook eggs for breakfast. The washing machine is great too.

  Location, Location, Location - there were 4 of us, two mothers and two 13 yr old daughters and we all loved the spaciousness of the apartment & all the amenities. We particularly loved the brightness (windows everywhere, so natural light as well as lots of ceiling lights which meant that at night, the apartment was extremely well lit) plus the numerous electric sockets everywhere! My daughter loved the "white" & modern look of the place with plenty of storage space, large long mirrors, comfortable living room and the free Wi-Fi. We stayed in the two bedroomed flat (#7) on 2/f which was noisy late at night as there are many restaurants around but also because we were there during NY's celebrations. On NY's Day, the management sent us a bowl of fresh fruit and a card which was a nice touch, we also met one of the owner-partners of the place and he was very helpful in providing advice on where to go for NY's Eve dinner that wouldn't be too touristy or meant we'd get charged extra for the special occasion. Airport pick-up and drop off was simple and efficient. Wholeheartedly recommend this place to any families/group of friends. PS: I left something in the safe and when I e-mailed them, they promptly searched and found the item. They are kindly posting it to me, so hopefully I will receive it soon. It was on the expensive side but worth it, we'd return!

  We rented the penthouse and 2 one-bedroom apartments for our family reunion in Turkey in June 2012. The experience was delightful, the service was great!   We recently had a family vacation in Istanbul and stayed at the Galata Flats! What a wonderful and comfortable stay we had at this establishment!! The apartments were very clean, and well layed out! We stayed in the Penthouse suite and on our way back through Istanbul, we stayed in the one bedroom apartments, both were AMAZING!! The location cant get any better, walking distance to many great attractions and excitment! But still nice and quiet in the apartments! Anytime we are back in Istanbul, we will return to Galata Flats and recommend it to everyone!

  Perfect apartment for a family of four or five. Well equipped kitchen which we used everday for breakfast. Apartment was bright, happy and had all basic necessities that one would require. Staff was very helpful especially Ayse. Located five minutes walk from Istiklal street, supermarket right across the road. Would definitely stay there again.

  I would stay here again! The apartment was in an excellent location and a very high standard. There was a group of us and the apartment was very suitable as there was enough room. What made the stay was the staff - they were extremely helpful going above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. I wolud highly recommend Galata Flats if travelling to Istanbul!

  Our family has rented high end apartments and villas in Spain, Greece, Portugal, Italy, Austria and the Canary Islands and none have exceed our expectations as much as did the Galata Flats. They were not only as represented on their website but were MUCH better. The owner was very involved to make certain his guests were well served and the young staff were as friendly and helpful as they could be. The location is superb and the Istanbul tram system is really very easy to navigate. We stayed five night and every day it was breeze to get to the major sites across the bridge. We had a street side 2 bedroom apartment and we weren't even aware any street noises.
