  We spend 4 months every year escaping the midwest winter in favor of sunshine. This is our fourth year and this property is definitely our favorite and we will be back next year. We called it the "Hawk's nest" because you are up high and have a 360 degree view of mountains all around. It feels like you are in your own nest. Also we would see the hawk on many days perching on the iron fence looking for his next meal. We also saw and heard the owls who visited periodically, The pictures were a very representation of the property. It is not a large house but it was perfect for two people and when we had friends visit is was also very comfortable. The listing details were also accurate and we found no surprises. The property was clean and there was welcoming wine and snacks laid out for us. My favorite place was the window seat in the den area. A few naps were taken in that window. On the other hand we also spent many hours at the table in the kitchen with its great views of the wash and the mountains. I also found the deck outside the master bedroom was a great place to do yoga. All to say the house had many great spots. The house was well furnished both inside and out and had many interesting touches throughout.. The location in Oro Valley is perfect. It is close to all kinds of shopping, yet the neighborhood feels very private. Also convenient to many restaurrants. The house is situated so that it is very quiet. The owner was very responsive and we didn't need to do a thing. The handy man, the gardener and the pool person took good care of the property. When we had a issue with the house, it was addressed immediately. We would definitely recommend the property to anyone looking for a quiet but convenient location.

  The listing accurately describes the property. The house is fully equipped with everything a family would need. The appearance and condition were impecable and exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect and the unobstructed views are incredible. We would highly recommend this property and are already planning a return trip. The owners were extremely helpful and easy to work with.

  The best feature to this house is it's location, the back patio faces the Catalina Mountains and has a million dollar view. The house itself is in great shape and well equipped, we wanted for nothing. I have never rented a better house, we really enjoyed our stay.

  The home was exceptionally beautiful and comfortable. The location in Oro Valley was convenient to all activities and just a fabulous area for a home base. Great place for a small family or a couple with visiting friends, such as we had. The view will knock your socks off!

  My husband and I stayed at Casa Del Sol for two months. We loved the style, charm and comfort of this beautiful home! We never tired of the wonderful view of the Catalina mountains from the patio, and availed ourselves of hiking the great trails in the Catalina State Park. We loved exploring Oro Valley. The owners were so gracious and accomodating.
