I believe we've finally found a rental home in Colorado Springs that will be our go-to house! The owners answered our questions promptly. Also, they sent an email before our trip containing all of the information we needed.....we didn't have to contact them first, which I appreciated. Even though there were homes all around us, I was shocked at how quiet the neighborhood was! The house was the CLEANEST rental we've been in. There were appropriate amenities that made it feel like a high-end hotel, not like someone had been living there. The only negative I might have (and the only reason I'm posting this is because someone's well-being might be at stake) is that it snowed while we were there, and the pavers leading up to the back entry were slick as snot! My husband, the kids and I were slipping all over the place, and one of my kids even fell! It wasn't a big deal to us, but I told my husband, "I'd hate it if an elderly person tried to walk on these bricks!" So, if you're there and it snows, be aware of the paved walkway in the back. Other than that, though, the house is very comfortable, cozy, and we will be back! I would definitely recommend this house to othersRecommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: I'm glad you enjoyed the house. You're always welcome back anytime. I had no idea about the pavers being slippery in the back. That will be taken care of immediately. Thanks, E.J.

We recently needed to be in Colorado Springs for two consecutive weekends and instead of flying back and forth, we decided to stay the whole time in this great little house. Such care was taken by the owner to make it the comfortable home it is for anyone who stays here. The furnishings were beautifully done!! The kitchen couldn't have had more to offer. Nothing but comfort! Thank you!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We were there for two weeks, and had a wonderful stay. The house was warm and inviting from the moment we walked in. The area was perfect. When it snowed at night, it looked like a picture postcard. We hope to stay there again in the future.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We stayed in this home for a week.and had a great time. The house exceeded our expectations. The owner was very helpful and responded to our questions quickly. Of all the homes we have stayed at, this home by far was the most well stocked. The owner has thought of everything in stocking this home. The beds and linens were top notch (luxurious). It was very cold when we stayed and the home was warm. Heater system really worked well. Kitchen is very spacious and well appointed. Our children really enjoyed their own space in the downstairs bedrooms. The owner of this home has not spared any expense in making his property comftorable for his guests. The neighborhood surrounding this home is quaint and quiet. We will definitely stay her again when we return to Colorado Springs.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We stayed in this home for a whole week, and it was fantastic. Clean, great kitchen, tons of space, and for the techie travelers out there, excellent Wifi and a huge HD TV. Couldn't have expected anything better. We traveled with our toddler and 3-month old, and were extremely comfortable the entire time. It's also worth noting that the owner is an extremely friendly guy who allowed us to extend our stay at the last moment when our daughter fell ill on our vacation. Felt like home away from home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

My husband and I enjoyed this home so much! It was absolutely beautiful, clean, quiet and just as described. The entire home was so comfortable and enjoyable. The beds and linens were very comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked and we wanted for nothing. The owner was friendly and quick to answer any questions that we had. I wouldn't stay anywhere else! The only thing we wanted was more time. Would highly recommend and will stay there again when visiting the area.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The Craftsman bungalow suited my wife and I perfectly while we explored Colorado Springs and the surrounding area. The cleanliness of where we stay is very important to us and we found it to be very clean. Great location to downtown and as far as we experienced a safe location. I made sure I found time to have a tea or beer on the front porch. We loved the Arts and Craft furnishing in the bungalow. We would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+.
