The home was exactly as described. Very open and airy, quiet and peaceful. We brought our dogs and took bike rides to the beach every morning. The beach was dog friendly and backed into a protected reserve. There were many different species of birds. The weather was cool and overcast but cleared the last night we were there so we experienced one of your stunning sunsets! Loved the dock. Bought the best snapper and grouper, any fresher and it would still be swimming. Also a half a bag of fresh oysters to snack on whenever the mood hit us. A wonderful place to unwind. The availability of fresh seafood was awesome. We hope to return.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

This house was perfect for a girls get away weekend. The location is beautiful and the sunset from the dock was amazing. The house was clean and the beds were so comfortable. Perfect place to relax and unwind. Owner is very flexible and accommodating. We will be planning another weekend at this location!Recommended for: Girls getaway

Sunset Therapy was a perfect choice. The transaction was easy and efficient. The house was clean, well supplied and perfectly furnished. Location was quiet and secluded. Everything was more than expected. We will definitely return!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Loved the Sunset Therapy House! Stayed 3 days in October and had great weather, scenery, and fresh local seafood on Floridas Northwest Coast. Sunset Therapy is in a QUIET neighborhood right on Ochlockonee Bay. Great private pier going out on the bay where we caught redfish and seatrout. House was very comfortable and love sleeping with windows open to deafening quiet. If you go stop by My-Way seafood market in Panacea and go in the cooler and check out fresh Gulf Grouper, Stone Crabs, and Gulf Shrimp. No farm raised seafood here! Wakulla State Park is nearby and a must see. Check out beach at the end of Mashes Sands Rd. We wish we had more time for Apalachicola forest hiking but will definately be back.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing.

We stayed here on our vacation to see a Florida State football game, and it was worth the drive to Tallahassee. Very quiet and relaxing. Had everything we needed - full kitchen, king-size bed in the MB, cable/satellite TV, screened-in porch, and we loved fishing off of the dock right outside the backdoor. House seems even bigger in person than in the pictures. We had a great time, and would definitely recommend this to friends or family looking for a quiet vacation.Recommended for: Romantic getaway

Sunset Therapy was the perfect choice to show my husband and daughter the "real" Florida where I grew up! I liked that it was one of the original older homes in the area and that it still had its original "bones" under the very nice remodel. The home was very bright, clean and comfortable and the neighbor was wonderful! Having the computer available for internet use was a BIG plus so that we could check in on work without having to leave the house for a wi-fi location! Having walk-in showers was a real plus for my older parents. It was also a plus that towels and linens were provided; and that we did not have to wash them before we left! (Other VRBO properties we have stayed in required bringing our own linens and towels or doing the laundry before checking out.) Everything about this place was exactly what we needed for a multi-generational family vacation. I would love to stay here for an FSU football weekend, as well! I was glad to be "home" after 19 years and Sunset Therapy definitely felt like home, as well as a vacation! If you want to fish, crab, bird-watch, and be centrally located for Gulf sight-seeing and being a part of the real Florida, you can't get a better place than Sunset Therapy.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The beds were very comfortable and the panoramic view and watching fireworks from porch was very nice. Close access to boat ramp and great fishing. Carrabelle and St. George's Island were great day trips.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, pet owners, sightseeing.

We had a very nice stay here. The weather was very good while we were here. It is a very quiet neighborhood and the house was very clean & comfortable. The owner was very easy to deal with & replied promptly to any emails. I especially enjoyed sitting on the dock & watching the seagulls & pelicans. The first day I saw a dolphin. The screened in porch was also very nice to sit on & enjoy the scenery as there was a very nice breeze blowing through. I would recommend this property to anyone I knew. The house was also close to other towns to visit.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

This was our first time with a vacation rental home, and I have to say we all agree that this place was absolutely wonderful! Even though it rained for part of our weekend, we enjoyed the ambiance and coziness of the home itself. After the rain passed, we spent the remainder of our stay outside on the pier, fishing and watching the sun and clouds pass by. So very relaxing. And then the fantastic sunset! None of us wanted to leave, least of all my husband. He said Sunset Therapy was perfect!Recommended for: Age 55+

We enjoyed our stay. The place was beautiful and well furnished. The area the house is located is very peaceful. We enjoyed looking at the Bay at the sunsets and going to the little beach down the street. The owner is very nice and responsive to any questions. Even got a personal letter back from him after our stay. We loved it. Excellent location, neatly kept house and a perfect location for peaceful vacation. With fully furnished house it is a great location for family as well as friends get away. Place is location among residential properties so it is really quiet and peaceful. With the Dock it is best for anyone loves boating and fishing. We could not enjoy the sunset but that due to cloudy conditions, but we had good time on dock and in porch, which is covered.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

The home offered all of the amenities we could ask for. The location was superb and the view is priceless. Everything was well kept, and we even found utensils (which we had forgot to bring) to use at our convenience. If you're looking for a laid back and beautiful place to rest then I wouldn't search any further. You won't be disappointed. *The drive from Tallahassee does seem a bit far (45-50 mins) but once you arrive its well worth it. BTW liquor and convenience stores are near by and the Wal-Mart is just about 15-20 away.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

House was great! Sunsets are just as advertised. Nice getaway for us and our daughter at FSU on parents weekend. House was open, very clean and modern inside. Kids enjoyed just being away from campus on the water. House was nicer then pictures on web. Only problem, we didn't get to stay there long. Owner was nice, and followed up immediately after stay. Daughter only freshman, will definitely be back.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We spent almost a week in October. Had a great time! The home is in a quiet location and was clean, nice, and homey. The main room was so relaxing, with windows on one side of the home. Awesome! The home was certainly more than adequate for our needs. We spent time at Bald Point Beach, Wakulla Springs, St. Mark's, and other locations...all of which were excellent destinations. We highly recommend visiting this area and this home is a great base! Hoping to return again and bring others with us.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

What an enjoyable weekend getaway. There were 4 adults (one of which is a senior that uses a walker) and 2 young boys. Easy access to home both from the front and back. Plenty of space for everyone. All the furnishing of home. Beautiful and relaxing. Fishing off the dock. The name of the property Sunset Therapy is appropriate. Boat ramp and State Park nearby, along with restaurant and convenience store.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

What a beautiful view and aeccommodations. The screened porch is "to die for." Chairs galore and even a very large hammock is a perfect place to watch the most gorgeour sunset ever. Although only four of us spent Memorial day week there was room for many more. We did a lot of card playing and eating. The kitchen has everything we needed and more. This was truly a therapeutic vacation. Oh yes, the hammock can sleep two.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We spent our weekend at this place. It is really an awesome place to enjoy natural tranquility. The property was cleaned and well-maintained. The owner was very friendly, and helpful to answer our question. This place is paradise to young children and adults. A long deck will take you to the water. There is a great room for kids with a blue bed set. We had a BBQ at night on the very fancy back porch. The living room is very comfy. You could lay on it all day! Big master bedroom, nice kitchen area, guest room too. And we rode a boat. We tried to get all the way to a bridge. I recommend this property who loves to enjoy there time where you find natural beauty, calm water, every moments were very relaxing…Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
