• Wonderful Place!!

  We loved staying here! It was close to downtown Gatlinburg. It was a bonus that there is a house phone since we could not get a signal with our cell phones, wifi and cable! This place is fully loaded with everything you will need when you stay. Even a stack of DVD's for all ages!! I would recommend this place! The owners Nichole and Terry are very friendly! We had to call around 10pm for the hot tub code and Terry answered, gave us the code and asked if we needed anything else! The place was clean, but the being in the woods, we killed about 6 spiders in 3 days inside the cabin. I would recommend spraying a bit more often to keep them from coming inside. Even with that, we will be renting from them again when we come down!! Thanks again for a wonderful time!!

  My family and I (2 adults/2 dogs) had a very nice stay at 'Simple pleasures' with it being just the right size and price. The cabin was clean, comfortable, within close proximity to attractions(i.e. downtown Gatlinburg, Arts & Crafts community, trolley line). The added bonuses had to be the dual shower head and the fenced in yard for the pups.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  We arrived on 2.21.12. The cabin was wonderful! Very nice, clean, modern and tastefully decorated. Though there were other homes nearby, it was still very private and serene, even in winter without the benefit of all the trees being full of leaves, there was still beautiful scenery due to all of the pines and evergreen in the area.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

  I am local and rented this cabin for family visiting the area. Were we very pleased with cabin and happy with our selection for our family that came to town for a Smoky Mountain Thanksgiving. The cabin is cozy yet was spacious enough for us to have a wonderful Thanksgiving together. I will definitely recommend this very clean and comfortable cabin to anyone coming into my shop looking for a place to stay, and to any future family members that come to visit.

  We had a great time in Gatlinburg at Simple Pleasures! The cabin was private, yet close to town, and we loved being within a few steps of Mills Park (playground, picnic area, etc.). We loved the hot tub and double sided fireplace. King bed was perfect and so comfortable! Kitchen had all that we need to cook and eat in. The view was pretty, the leaves were falling and we loved having a keypad on the door instead of keeping up with a key the whole time. The alarm added extra security as well. My only "could have been better" comments would be that it was hard to have bath time with two young children with no bathtub - just a shower - and the shower heads weren't great. But those were the only things that could have been better. Overall a great experience!

  My husband and I rented this cabin from 9/6-9/9. We needed to get away by ourselves (no children) for a few days and have some R&R time. The cabin was beautiful, cozy, relaxing and Nicole and Terry were awesome to work with. The only thing you needed to bring was your toothbrush and a few groceries. They have definitely thought of every amenity!! Hated to leave and come back to "life" in the fast lane. Can't wait to go back again!! Thanks Terry and Nicole

• Beautiful cabin!

  The cabin was absolutely perfect! Very clean, comfy furniture, and updated appliances. It was great coming home after a long day and relaxing in the hot tub and playing pool. Our 11 year old especially enjoyed the pool table. Also loved the fact that we were able to bring our little pug with us, and not have to worry about finding a dog sitter. The fenced in front yard is a plus for any dog owner. The cabin is located about 10 minutes from the main strip in Gatlinburg. Just far enough to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough for us to make frequent trips home to eat and check on our pooch. There is also a nice park just down the street. The alarm system was great for added security. Owners were great to work with, and we hope to visit Simple Pleasures on our next trip to Gatlinburg.

  My family spent 3 days of our Spring Break at Simple Pleasures. It was absolutely amazing! The photos really don't do it justice. It's gorgeous and it literally has all of the amenities. We purchased a few groceries and we didn't have to worry about pots and pans or anything. It was great. The cabin is spotless and the owners have taken care of every detail. I think that my daughters enjoyed the hot tub most of all. The double-sided fireplace made for some very cozy evenings, and the beds were very comfortable. We were all sad to leave and will definitely be back. The owners were very friendly and easy to work with and made us feel very comfortable about booking the cabin. We really needed to get away from our hectic lives. Thanks for making our vacation so memorable and special.

  My husband and I chose this cabin for a relaxing Valentine Vacation. We found the cabin absolutly beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice. The wood walls and ceiling shined with not a spot of dust anywhere. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the blankets so soft! Towels were provided for the shower as well as extras for for the hot tub. All amenities means all amenities, we didn't have to pick up anything other than what we ate. The over all comfort and atmosphere of this cabin is wonderful. We didn't want to come home. We will definitlybe renting again from them again. Thank you for the peaceful break from reality, we needed it!
