This cozy and completely renovated cabin is yours to enjoy for your stay in the Upper Peninsula. This cabin features enough sleeping room for you and 10 of your friends or family. The bathroom has been completely redone with cedar walls to give you that 'sauna' feel when you are taking your hot shower after a long snow mobile ride. Another great bonus is the large kitchen which is completely stocked with all you need for your convenience.
A large dining area with a big table is not only good for your large groups to eat together, but also for playing card games while watching the kids (or us big kids) slide down the driveway on their sleds. Once you walk in, you can shed all of your outdoor gear in the mudroom and hang it all up to dry in there separate from the main part of the house.
One of our favorite things to do in the fall is wake up in the morning and get some fresh U.P. air out on the balcony deck with a hot cup of coffee.
There are two main bedrooms. There are also two fun loft bedrooms for the kids or smaller people in your family. There is a double bed in each large bedroom, 2 twins in one of the loft rooms, and a double and a twin in the other loft bedroom. We also offer a rustic, wooden fold out futon in the living room as well.
On site is a charcoal grill and fire pit for your bonfires on those crisp, cool fall nights. Don't forget about the s'mores!
There are hiking trails already marked out behind the cabin to go for walks in the woods. Our cabin is located on a road that, only about 2 miles away, turns into a trail connected to the U.P. snowmobile trail system. We are also conveniently located between Lake Michigan and Lake Superior which are amazing to see in the fall with the tree colors and in the winter with the ice piled up so high and the impressive amounts of snow. Once you arrive you will see in the welcome notes that we have compiled a list of amazing sights you must see while in the area, especially with the fall colors and winter on it's way!

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2004
About the owner: We love to come up to the area for so many reasons and our cabin is the perfect home base for our trips. Wish we could get there more often! We have lots of family in this area and visit often. We hope you enjoy our cabin in the woods!
Why the Owner Chose Newberry:
It is a beautiful area not known by many so it's not crowded or busy ever! We know many people in the area and Newberry is a fun small town, especially during the midsummer and in the winter.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
Our favorite thing about our property is the privacy. We sit down below the road so we have good privacy while still being 10 minutes from town. We love the atmosphere of our cabin. The rustic, yet modern feel. The bathroom is amazing and we love how big the kitchen is for whatever we are doing. We actually had Thanksgiving for 17 people there one year! The washer and dryer are a huge bonus too!
