The Property:
Situated on 7 mile beach just north of the Ritz Carlton and south of the Westin resorts, your 3rd floor villa has an unobstructed views of the Caribbean Sea by day and star filled skies by night. Mature flora and fauna adorn the property where native birds and iguana lizards make their homes. The pristine beach front is arguably the choicest beach front along the entire stretch of 7 mile beach. Mini bus service which stops in front of the Villas can whisk you into Georgetown in less than 10 minutes where you will find everything you expect in an island capital city. The airport is also just a short 15 minute drive while island banks are a short walk away.
The Villa:
Our private, newly remodeled (Nov 2012) with pottery barn and island décor condo is a 2BD, 2 Bath villa with day bed (twin) in the living room. Loft master suite with marble floors, king bed, plantation shutters and bedroom door for privacy with spacious walk in closet and guest safe. En suite master bath has corian countertops and walk in shower.
This air conditioned, non-smoking unit also boasts our newly decorated, fully equipped, kitchen allowing you to prepare that special romantic meal of freshly caught snapper, trigger and wahoo purchased from local fisherman while dining on our private balcony and enjoying your unobstructed view of our Caribbean sunsets.
Other amenities include washer and dryer, cable 40” flat screen TV in living room/bedrooms, DVD player, stereo/CD player and telephones with answering machine. High Speed Wireless internet allows you to keep in touch with your important business matters (if you choose to do so!!). Daily Maid service (except Sunday), linens including beach towels, included in the price. Personable and friendly on site management is always available to aid in your concierge needs.
We are located ~100 ft. from the ocean. Beach and lounge chairs help you enjoy the wonderful sunshine with beach umbrellas and the local Casuarinas (Australian Pines) providing you with just the right amount of shade.
The sea and coral reefs just off shore reflect blues of a painters pallet as the color changes from aqua marine to sapphire to indigo.
There is very little ocean turbulence (perfect for little children) with water temperatures generally in the 80’s and air temperatures averaging 83 degrees year round, accompanied by gentle ocean breezes.

Activities include:
Diving and parasailing with beach front pickup! Cayman is rated among the top five places in the world for diving, with visibility that often exceeds 100 feet and over 250 of the world’s most sought after dive sites, including a diverse assortment of pristine reefs, legendary shipwrecks and dramatic walls. For those like myself who have trouble flooding their mask, the snorkeling is like nothing else in this world.
Snorkeling just offshore or along the island to explore the underwater realm; visit the turtle farm, a short 15 minutes drive up the beach by car; championship links style golf across the street @ northsoundclub ; Stingray City with Capt. Clinton Ebanks and tell him the Burger’s gave you his number for a discount. He is incredible with children and will give you the private tour experience of a lifetime!
Local currency is CI$ with local vendors converting to US$ on credit cards, so no foreign transaction fee goes on your credit card!

Sherry, Thanks for sending me the e-mail about your villa. After reading through some of the other reviews, I realized that I agreed with everything that was said. The walks on the beautiful beach, the almost empty beach chairs in front of the villas, the beautiful drive along the Sea, being able to attend church with members of the church, and the beautiful views from the balcony of the villa, plus many more things. We had great time in the villas in the grand cayman islands.. 5 ladies were in our group and we all got along so well. We fixed some meals in the room and ate out most of our evening meals. We rented a car and drove around wherever we wanted. A better map of the area would have helped a lot. The condo was wonderful..lots of room and we never got in anyone's way. It was a wonderful vacation, one I would do again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

The condo was better then I thought. With two bedrooms and a spare bed there was plenty of room for our family of 5. The view from the deck was of the ocean. The best part was the location, the beach is right there, we went over to the Ritz and Westin which are next door and the their beaches are crowded while our beach was empty with plenty of chairs. You do not need to get up a six in the morning to save a chair, there are plenty and it was never an issue. The location was ideal, having both stores and the liquor store close by. Having a car is ideal to see the whole island. Lisa was on top of things and nice to talk with, she knows everyone and will set up any tours you want. The only drawback was being on the 3rd floor meant walking up and down alot, but we considered it excercise and not bad. I would have liked to gas grills to guests to use instead of charcoal.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children.

Will bring it up at our next AGM...thanks for idea....Third floor was our preference.....at night the unobstructed view of the heavens is amazing...no light pollution in Cayman.....and the safety factor of being able to leave the sliding door and windows open at night is a definite plus.....you can hear the waves lapping on shore that gently lull you to sleep.....

Being snow-birds for the first time, we had lots of choices on where to escape Chicago's winters. On advice of friends, we chose Grand Cayman Island and we were not disappointed. Prior to our arrival, our host provided a lengthly list of things to do, places to eat and other helpful tidbits. Upon arrival we found the unit just like it is pictured on VRBO - with a beautiful view over a courtyard and the Gulf beyond. The unit is ideally situated in the middle of Seven Mile Beach. We could walk to a variety of restaurants, the grocery store, and the mega-hotels we were situated between (not that we paid them much attention). What we enjoyed the most was the beach. The property has a lovely, wide beach which was never crowded. I particularly appreciated the big pine trees set back toward the buildings which provided ample shade whenever needed. Each morning my wife and I would walk down the beach for 30 to 45 minutes, then turn around and return to the unit for a quiet breakfast on the balcony overlooking the beach. We enjoy snorkeling, and we could swim right off the property and find beautiful coral and fish. The unit itself was bright, open, and relaxing. We appreciated the built-in washer/dryer to throw our suits and beach apparel in after swimming. Although not a problem for us, the unit is on the second floor with an additional flight of stairs to get to the master bedroom (the second bedroom is on the main floor of the unit). Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this property and hope to do so again for a longer stay next time.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My wife, 2 daughters and I stayed at this lovely property from 20-25 January. Sherry, the owner was incredibly responsive, very kind and considerate, and delightful to deal with! The condo is modern, tastefully decorated in Carribean theme, and has most every convenience you could think of. The balcony has a view of the breathtaking ocean, which we took advantage of while the girls were taking their siesta. The property manager Lisa is very friendly and helpful giving advice and taking care of any details that may arise. The daily maid service was helpful as we were determined to do very little but eat, drink, and be merry this trip. Grace Ann was our maid and our girls Adored her! She is very efficient, cheerful and friendly to be around. The Beach is wonderful! (the property is nestled between the Ritz Carlton and Westin Hotels -so this is the nicest stretch of beach on the Island). There are two shopping plazas within waking distance which offer most everything you can think of. There are tons of beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels so you don't have to worry about doing without. Our only complaint is that we failed to stop time while we were there! We have been all around the Carribean, but we can't wait to go back to Grand Cayman and stay at Sherry's condo again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

It's all nice! A clean and exceptionally well-maintained condo styled with what I call "contemporary Caribbean" architecture sitting on the perfect beach. Nice views of the ocean right from the condo; and being on the top floor also allows for vaulted ceilings throughout that gave us a wonderful openess inside. It just gets better--the beach! A few seconds walk across the beautifully manicured grounds and there is the site of powdered white sand and the crystal clear turquois ocean waters--calm and gentle and warm. The beach is perfectly clean, just the right size to sit back in the shade of the trees or umbrellas, and yet be right close to the water's edge. The beach continues on for miles in either direction--great for exploring, strolling, swimming, or jogging past upscale hotels, condos, homes, and the governor's house. Our stay here intrigued us with how conveniently situated we were for easy access to the town, stores, snorkelling, and restaurants. This is a terrific place where we felt at peace, comfortable, and like it was our own home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This was my familys best vacation that we have ever taken thanks to Sherry for letting us stay in her beautiful condo! The condo was perfect for us! It was very clean and well kept and very comfortable. The location is perfect as you can just walk right down to the beach. Sherry also helped us find great places to eat and she gave us a great reference of a captain who took us out to Stingray City. We will definitely be coming back to the Grand Cayman and when we do we will absolutely stay in Sherry's condo again!
