  Wow!!! Words can't describe how amazing this home was. We have rented homes in this gated community for the last 3 years and each home impresses us more and more. This home was perfect we had 5 adults and 4 children under the age of 6. Plenty of room everything was as expected if not better in person, we were amazed the minute we walked through the door. Beautifully decorated and extremely welcoming we didn't want to leave. There was so much for the children to do in this home from all the gaming systems to the absolutely amazing 3D television which now we want, to all the extras, board games, pool toys, dvds, air hockey table, pool table, pin ball machine I could go on. This home is so inviting,clean, and comfortable to be in. Penny your home is incredible and we will always keep this home on our list when we return and definitely will refer friends and family. We love how close everything is to this gated community your home is in. All the Disney Parks, Downtown Disney, The Premium Outlet Shops, Target, Walmart, Grocery Stores, and Restaurants are all nearby. Love Love Loved it! P.S. the book everyone signs at the end of their stay with their stories, memories,etc is such an awesome idea,every home should do that. Thank you again and we look forward to a future return.   This home has it all. Whether you would like to read a book, watch a 3D movie, relax by the pool, or partake in a game of pool, air hockey, or pinball, this is THE place to vacation with the family. The home gave us the room we needed but kept its cozy atmosphere. Its quiet, secluded location away from the noise and traffic is still close to all the area's attractions. The resort's grounds are immaculate and adorned with fountains and walking paths as well as a well equipped clubhouse. We never wanted to leave and will positively recommend it to our family and friends. Thank you again for your hospitality!!! Denise Orion, Michigan

  This home was absolutely beautiful and we were so glad we chose a home over a hotel for our first trip to Disney and Orlando. Everything you need is in the home, they've thought of everything. The house was spotlessly clean and so convenient to everywhere!! The guarded entrance was a great comfort, same with the screened in pool area, and management so professional. As much as the houses are close together, you do not even notice it on your screened in pool area. The king size bed was so comfortable to sleep on it was hard to get up!!! Our kids loved the games room and pool. Great job Penny and Homeaway, we'll be back!!!

  Brilliant home. Is as good, or better than the photos and videos show. Has everything you might need and more. The location is brilliant, just a short drive to lots of stores and restaurants and just a little further to WDW. You can be on a Disney parking lot from leaving the door within 10 minutes. Emerald Island is really nice and feels very safe and secure, all areas are very well look after and the entrance security guards and clubhouse staff are really helpful. We are from the UK and unfortuantely cant visit all that often, but next time we will try and stay here again if its available. We are now converted from hotels (even Disney hotels) as this is so close to the action and so much more flexible. 10 out of 10. Thank you Penny.

  I can't say enough good things. We really enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful and everything that was promised was there. It was a pleasure to come home to such a beautiful place after a long day in the park. My 3 year old loved the pool and the house was very safe for my 9 month old. We loved the games room. Everything was clean and so well organized. The Disney decor was an added bonus for the kids. The entertainment/technology was incredible. The owner was so quick in responding to questions before our arrival. We received a package from the owner before our arrival with directions, tips, and Orlando information. We had not seen this before. Our biggest highlight was the hot tub after a long day in the park. You feel safe in the gated community. The owner has many baby items for use which really came in handy when travelling from Canada. I would go back in a flash.

  My first words to my husband as we walked through the door of this lovely vacation home were "this is even more stunning than the photographs"! That was our first impression, that Penny's home is gorgeous, truly even nicer than in the photos. Then it just got better from there. The home had everything that we needed for our family with two small children. The equipment for babies and children that was included (crib, play pen, high chair, car seats for toddlers, strollers, etc) were in perfect, clean condition and so helpful to have on-site. The kitchen was excellently equiped (and we did eat most meals at the house). The bedrooms and bathrooms are beautifully decorated, but more than that they are clean, with excellent quality linens and ample extras like towels, bedding, and pillows. The pool is a perfect size for families and the hot tub was warmer and more enjoyable than we expected (we didn't think it would get as warm as it did with it being "attached" to the pool). The Emerald Island Resort property is quiet and clean, and we also enjoyed the pool and playgrounds with our kids. Outside of the resort, there is great shopping close by (for groceries, gifts etc) and the proximity to Disney World is amazing if you plan to make the trip there for a day or more. Mall shopping was close in Orlando, and I would recommend the Orlando Premium Outlet as definately worth the 15 minute drive. We were absolutley thrilled that our vacation not only met our expectations, but exceeded them. We were so happy in fact, that within two weeks of our return home, we booked another week for 2013! Penny has done a great job of making this home warm, inviting and well appointed and she was suberb to deal with from start to finish. This is a great vacation spot for young families like ours, but would work equally well for families with older children, couples, just about anyone.

  Wow I was amazed with this property. Everything we could possibly need for our stay was available. The house was very modern and clean. We were only 3 miles from Disney, 2miles from restaurants, gift shops, and grocery stores. I will definitely recommend this property to all of my friends and family.

  My family and I stayed at the house during spring break weekend. I am so glad we chose to go this route instead of staying on disney property! The parks were so crowded it was a relief to come back to the house every evening and relax in our own pool and hot tub. Even with the large crowds at the parks it was an easy and quick trip to get to each of the Disney Propertys as well as Universal. This house was very clean and had every amenity you could think of to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. We did not have any infants or toddlers in our party, but if we had we wouldn't have had to bring any of the usual bulky stuff. High chairs, baby monitors, strollers, etc. were all already provided at the house. My kids did enjoy the game room with the air hockey and pinball. I would highly recommend this property!

  The house was absolutely wonderful. It was in a safe, secure gated community, just minutes from Disney theme parks. The house was roomy, cute, organized, and clean. I would highly recommend this property to anyone with or without children. We had a great time!

  Penny's home is AMAZING. It really was the perfect place to come back to after some long days at the parks. The kids (who were 5, 3 and 2) LOVED the little toy area with the kitchen and other toys. Penny has thought of everything to make it a very enjoyable stay for all ages. You can tell that they take pride in their home and it makes you feel that much more relaxed on vacation. We had an issue with the heat in the hot tub (we didn't realize we needed to turn the dial on to get the heat in the spa but it was also VERY cold outside and just took a few extra minutes to warm up) but Penny called us right back to make sure everything was okay. She provided first class service in a first class home. This is a gem of a find and I have no doubt that when people see how amazing this home is it will be booked up solid. I selfishly hope not as we would love to come back again. Thank you Penny for providing all the necessities and making our trip smooth and comfortable. You have a beautiful home that you have decorated with not only amazing comfortable bedding (no scratchy yucky sheets or blankets in this house!) but also everything a person could need. You've got some fans in Canada who will definitely be back.

  We arrived to a warm inviting home that was nearly "too good to be true." The home had everything we had hoped for and more! We own timeshares so had come to expect certain items be available. It was a wonderful surprise to discover so much more [listed below for others with similar experiences:] -more than sufficient linens, bath towels and pool towels (so fluffy and soft too) -the kitchen has multiple small appliances - we even made smoothies in the blender! -enough dinner ware that you could fill the dishwasher and still have more to use -there were storage containers to keep leftovers for the next day (unheard of anywhere else we've stayed) -the highest quality of furnishings in every room; be sure to try the recliners in the leather sofa in the living area. -a huge 3D HD television in the living area with 3D glasses for 8 and movies to watch (a big hit!) -a private heated pool with all the pool toys anyone could want! -the private games room was another huge hit with our grandchildren. They learned to play pool from their Grandfather, played air hockey and the pinball machine (Just say WOW!) -clean as a whistle with no bits of others left behind, and -no additional fees! Lastly, and so important, Penny and her husband have been the nicest people to work with. Asking a last minute question was not a problem. They genuinely care about those they are sharing their home with. You will not be disappointed (assuming there are times available when you visit Kissimmee) to stay here!!! This propery and its owners rate a 20/10 were it possible. Should we return to Kissimmee, this is the first place we would hope to stay. Thanks SO VERY MUCH, Penny, for contributing to our awesome, amazing vacation. Laurie, Richard and extended family

  We spend 5 night on December of 2011 for a family reunion and for visit Disney world . The house is very close to the Disney park, about 5 min. Also very close two supermarkets and target in case you need groceries. The house is a five star villa with all amenities, own pool, jacuzzi, Flat Tv's in each room, game room and even a 3D movies. Beutiful house very well maintained. We high recommended this property because I did a lot of research before I rented. We planning to come Back.. Thank you Juan

  We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at this house during Thanksgiving week. The amenities were second to none as we took advantage of all of them. The adults and children both spent a lot of time in the game room which had a great pinball machine, pool table and Wii. We also really enjoyed the 3D TV and it came with many movies and working 3D glasses to watch. We have rented houses in the past that were short on utensils, towels, etc.... That was definitely not the case with this house as you had more than enough glasses, silverware, plates, towels, pool towels, etc... They have really gone out of their way to make sure you have everything you need, which some people take for granted. The bedrooms are comfortable, one of the rooms had a play station and it included several games. We didn't have a baby, but noticed many items stored in case you were bringing a little one to the house. They have pretty much thought about everything you would need to enjoy an extended time in this house. I would definitely recommend this house for your vacation and we would stay again if the opportunity arises.

  My wife and I, our three children (11, 8, and 7) and my mother-in-law had a wonderful week-long stay at this home. The Emerald Island location is so convenient to everything in Orlando, especially the Disney parks. The home itself is perfect for a family with children with ALL the extras that made our stay so enjoyable. The house was very clean, everything was in working order, and even though we couldn't access the wireless internet the first day we were there, it was immediately addressed the next day by the owner and we never had a problem again. The home was well stocked, everything was carefully labeled to explain how it worked, and the neighborhood was very quiet. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great home to rent while on vacation in Orlando.

  First of all, the owner was great to do business with! The house was absolutely beautiful. It is very clean, neat, and had everything that we needed. The kids had a great time playing the Pinball machine and swimming in the warm pool. We are already planning our next trip back for a longer stay.

  There weren't many reviews about this house, so I was a little bit hesitant to book it, but I am so glad we did.The location was the biggest selling point - and it was as advertised! We could get to any of the Disney parks within 10 minutes with very little traffic. There are several eating places and a great grocery store at the SuperTarget just a few miles away. The family loved the pool and the house provided all of us with enough space for some to sleep and some to play. We will be back. If you want a clean, comfortable home and want to be close to Disney, then this home is for you.
