My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beautiful property. We only wish we could have stayed longer! The condo was so charming and close enough that we could walk to downtown and enjoy the town without taking the car. What a pleasant surprise that Stephanie had coffee, bottled water, fruit ready for us to enjoy. The condo itself was very well appointed. It was just a wonderful place to stay in every way!

This is a beautiful and well maintained property. The location at Forsyth Park is exceptional and has handy nearby parking. We did not stay nearly long enough. We absolutely loved Savannah, and plan to return. We highly recommend Delia Row.

Aside Forsyth Park, perfect location and completely remodeled interior

We arrived to the condo and found an easy street side parking place. After climbing the three flights of stairs, which was really part of the fun and intrigue, we were thrilled to enter into our lodging for the next 4 nights. The interior was incredibly clean, classic and just enough touches to make it feel inviting. Framed black and white pictures of Savannah beautifully hung and positioned. Comfortable living area and gorgeous bedroom. Bed linens and bed comfortable and more pillows than you can imagine so you get settle in just right. The white towels and linens always evoke clean and classic. Two flat screens, two dvd players and many movies shot in Savannah. Would only recommend that "The Last Song" be added to the collection which was filmed on Tybee Island just 15 miles from the city. We had just a few instances when we needed to get in touch with the owner and received a call back within minutes. Friendly, helpful owner who was eager to offer suggestions for the area. The interior has all been freshly painted and wooden floors redone. Perfect kitchen area including a bowl of fruit and a jar of gum balls which we enjoyed. Never had to get in our car, walked everywhere, dined in the area and took in a concert at The Savannah Music Festival. We were a party of three, fit comfortably. I would highly recommend this verses staying in a hotel room which we have done so in the past. Book this, you will be happy you did.

The wife and I stayed in the second floor rental. It was excellently maintained and offered us a great view of the park and was located in easy walking distance to many of the historical points of interest in Savannah. We would not hesitate to rent this condo in the near future on our return visit to Savannah. However, it was difficult to get a response from any of the owners site representative contact list that was made available to us when we confirmed the condo rental. It may have been due to the Easter holiday. We needed to ask questions on where to place our garbage and to let them know that there was a minor problem with the shower cold water faucet. Other then those minor problems the rental agent for the property was extremely helpful on assisting us on questions we had before we rented the condo. The pictures of the condo was accurate regarding its appearance and amenities. Do not hesitate to stay at this condo. It deserves a five star plus and was one of the best VRBO properties the wife and I have stayed at when visiting other areas in the country

Delia Row Condo was excellent. Everything was meticulously clean and it was clear the owner did not spare any cost when redoing and refurbishing this condo. We loved the location being across Forsythe Park and utilized the mile around walkway. We also walked daily to the historic district and and also rented bikes taking in all the sites. What a perfect location for all of this.

Very accommodating and efficient property managers. Wonderful location for St. Patrick's Day. Stayed on 2nd floor overlooking beautiful park. Close to parade. Nice walk to River Street. Loved the close attention to details in the condo: staples in the fridge, condiments, fruit, beach towels, cooler on wheels, beach chairs, WIFI. Bed and pull out sofa were very comfortable. Linens and towels were premium. Beautifully decorated. EVERYTHING was top notch. Sat in the park at night. Location is very safe, very quiet and truly very, very nice.

My trip to Savannah

Ditto on everything other renters commented. The house was lovely and the very clean. The TVs were big and there was enough room for what you wanted in a comfortable stay. We weren't there very long but loved the views outside. We walked everywhere which was about a mile from the house to the riverstreet. Felt safe. The upstairs neighbor was heavy walkers and we could hear that throughout the night and early morning but other than that would stay again and recommend. Savannah is beautiful and the experience I will never forget plus everyone thinks it's cool if you mentioned you stayed in a historical home! Thanks for fixing this place up and making it available to us.

The Delia Row condo was perhaps the most perfect place to spend a few days in all of Savannah. Looking across to Forsyth Park was a beautiful way to begin each day. Savannah is such a walkable city, we didn't move the car for four days. Beginning with a bicycle tour of the city, we learned a great deal of the small parks, or squares, between our condo and the waterfront.The deck out back was the perfect place to unwind from the day of touring, to enjoy a snack tray and a glass of wine. We enjoyed the small kitchen so much, we prepared many of our meals without visiting the suggested dining venues in town. The Kroger grocery, a few blocks across Forsyth Park, was an added bonus. Have I described well enough the joys of this condo..

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights in the upper floor apartment. The unit was spotless and tastefully decorated, had very good quality linens/bedding and was in a convenient location (15-20 minute walk downtown and close to the park). Some extra touches such as coffee cream and soft drinks in the fridge, a plate of oranges on the table and a good selection of toiletries in the bathroom were very nice. My husband is a light sleeper. He did not like the traffic noise and we could occasionally hear sounds from next door. Personally, I was fine with the traffic noise. I would highly recommend this spot.

The Delia Row condo was even nicer then we thought it would be. Layout is great, furnishing new & clean and the coffee in the kitchen was a wonderful surprise. Being able to wake up and sip coffee while reading the paper is one of the reasons we always try to find a condo/townhouse type accommodation over a hotel. The weather was unseasonably cool the week we were there so we began each day leisurely getting ready to explore Savannah. Only issue was the bed was too soft for us. And I hope the owners are intending to finish the renovation by making the area out the kitchen door more inviting. It could be a lovely place to relax with a glass of wine after a day of walking. Overall - wonderful place, would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed Savannah and this 2nd floor updated apartment because of the town's historical significance, the clean & spacious rooms, and the convenient location facing Forsythe Park, the grocery store, and the free Savannah bus service. In addition, we especially enjoyed the friendliness of the locals, who did not hesitate to lead us in the right direction. We arrived exhausted on our first night, and a nice gentleman on a stroll with his dog pointed us in the direction to the nearest restaurant options for dinner and to the American Legion's fish fry. We recommend the farmers' market on Saturday morning for fresh fruit, veggies, cheese, bread, and even buffalo steak. Our experience in Savannah is something we plan to repeat next year, 'ya all.

We had a wonderful week in Savannah. The property is as described and spotless. We stayed in the 1st floor unit and were very impressed with the tasteful remodeling that has been done. Most of our time was spent out and about sight-seeing, but it was a pleasure to have such lovely place to call home for the week. Everything you need is provided. This is exactly how VRBO is suppose to work. Thanks for a great stay.

We had a lovely stay in Savannah because of this well maintained, tastefully decorated condo. Its at a great location. Our daughter was delighted to find a huge park right outside the condo. Cafe Sentient Bean and Brighter Day grocery store are at a walking distance from the condo. Unfortunately, it rained the whole time we were there, but being in the condo still made our trip worthwhile!

One of the best VRBOs for us ever!

We stayed in this lovely apartment overlooking Forsyth Park for 10 days. Street parking was easy so we just left the car and, except for a couple of trips to a distant Publix, walked everywhere. The local life happens in Forsyth Park, sports, vegetable market, joggers, baby strollers - constant pleasant activity. We enjoyed the historic sights of old Savannah, the waterfront, art galleries, lectures and churches, but the most pleasant of each day was the walk back through "our" park, past the flowering shrubs, water fountains and lovely houses. The owner/host is often working around his property and always ready to be helpful. Use him as your tour information - he knows everybody and everything about Savannah. He knocked himself out to be sure everything we might need was on hand - including all the movies made at local Savannah locations. The apartment was spotlessly clean with all new appliances in perfect working order. We have used dozens of VRBO properties in several countries. They are usually satisfactory or better but this, for us, was a best!

My husband and I stayed here during our visit to Savannah for our 16th wedding anniversary and enjoyed staying in this beautiful condo. The condo is very clean and spacious. We marvelled at the spacious bedroom. With the condo being on a main road and my being a light sleeper, I thought I was surely doomed; however, after the first night, the road noise didn't phase me so that made our stay even more pleasant. The mattress is a little firm...well compared to our pillowtop but we didn't lose any sleep due to it. This is one of the nicest condos we have stayed and the price was great too. We also absolutely loved not having to keep up with a key card! I brought paper towels, toilet paper and fruit from home to find that Stephanie already had those items there for us so that was such a blessing. We will definitely recommend this place to our family and friends.

This was my third time staying at Delia Row and I will probably come stay again.I have visited twice with my husband and kids and once with my best friend for a girls weekend. The condo is charming, spacious, and CLEAN and the location is perfect. A great value for the money.

Very Comfortable Condo in the Heart of the Historic District

I rented a Delia Row condo (Unit 2) around Christmas 2012. The apartment is very tastefully furnished and had a number of very thoughtful touches (Luxurious Cotton Towels, Fresh Fruit on the Breakfast table, Water in the fridge). We walked around the historic district, and also saw the Owens Thomas House, Telfair Museum, and the Jepson Center of Arts all on foot. You can walk to the Riverfront (1 mile), but the weather was not suitable on the first day. Forsyth Park is amazing. I have two gripes: (i) The unit on top of us was also rented (i Think) and the folks in that unit insisted on walking in their high heels at 11:00 PM in the night and running the dishwasher or dryer; which made it very hard to sleep in the master bedroom (ii) There can lot of road noise seeping through the Master Bed Room Windows, as Whitaker Street stays very busy till late in the night. Other than this (which will not bother you, if you are a heavy sleeper), my experience was very good. Restaurants recommended: Ruy Thai, Leopolds (for Ice Cream)

Highly recommend. We loved staying here for a romantic getaway. The condo has a great view from the bedroom. Everything was in great condition and we enjoyed the extras that made our stay even better- blanket for sitting in the park and plastic cups to take our drinks to go, towels for the beach and a big movie collection. We walked the whole weekend- to the river was a little over a mile and many shops and restaurants and squares in between.

My husband, 3 year old daughter, and I stayed in Delia Row during the weekend of the Savannah marathon. All of the race festivities were held in Forsyth Park, so it was extremely convenient. The view out the bedroom window was quintessential Savannah: large trees with hanging Spanish moss with peeking sunlight. The outdoor space was delightful for a nightcap under the stars. Loved it!!

I went to Savannah to run the Marathon with my three sons. We arrived in late afternoon at the apartment and immediately felt in love with it. Perfectly located in front of Forsyth Park (and of the finish line !) the condo benefits of many windows allowing natural light to flow in while providing a beautiful view and a quiet environment thanks to the park. The apartment is nicely furnished and you will find everything you need. But what makes it so special is the attention to the little details that really proves the owners are caring about their visitors. I am a frequent user of VRBO and rented several apartments in many cities and this one is clearly better managed than average. I sincerely wish to thank Stephanie for allowing us to enjoy their house. It was a memorable stay we will remeber for ever. Robert

The apartment we rented exceeded our expectations. Everything and more was furnished. Decor was beautiful and definitly 5-star. Location was terrific. We walked everywhere. We particularly enjoyed the Saturday morning farmers market in the park just out the front door. We will definitly stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.

Delia Row was absolutely as advertised. 2 awesome tv's, super fast wifi, and all the furniture was great. It was spotless (I mean SPOTLESS) and extremely well decorated. All the little extra touches that are provided were awesome. Location was perfect for all the sights in Savannah. On the street parking was not a problem, just pay attention to street cleaning signs. The only negative is the noise. If you are use to a noise free bedroom, then be aware that Whitaker Street is very busy and due to the bedroom being on the street side of the condo, it is very noisy. We had family staying in the upstairs unit (third floor) and it is somewhat quieter due to the higher location and window design. The noise level in the rest of the condo is not a problem. Absolutely a perfect place if the noise doesn't bug you. A set of heavy drapes would certainly help. The owner was very prompt in responding to questions and in getting reservations made. She also helped when we asked about restaurant recommendations. We enjoyed the close proximity to the Forsyth Park which had a locals farmer's market on Saturday morning. We could also walk to the entire historic district within 30 minutes. We thought The Olde Pink House was our favorite dinner. It was very pleasant as we ate in their open air bar area on the sidewalk in perfect weather conditions. We had not made reservations ahead of time and this area was first come first serve. The menu was the same as the inside dining rooms which is pricy, but excellent. Overall, an excellent place that we will visit again.

Had a wonderful time in Savannah and absolutely loved this home. It was a perfect place to stay away from the crowd. It was a 1 mile walk to River Street but plenty of places to stop along the way. We saw the wonderful side of Historic Savannah. The jazz festival was at the park and we could hear the music from the balcony.

We enjoyed our 5 days at Delia Row. The property was exactly as described - calm, peaceful, serene. The view across to Forsyth Park was wonderful! I would recommend this property in a heartbeat! I would like to mention that there is a lot of traffic noise on the first floor; however, this did not bother us, as we live on a highway. Husband always wears earplugs and the traffic is like music to me. Probably the second and third floors are better. That would be the only warning I would give to anyone. The manager, Charlie, was very friendly and easy to talk to. He answered many questions we had and just generally carried on a conversation like a friend. The managers were also great. I had answers to questions promptly and they supplied great information. As for surrounding activities, etc -- that should be up to your tastes. There is definitely something for everyone! Do go to the Savannah Visitor Center - they are kind and have lots of info. Trolley tours are a good idea, too!

Great Condo in a Great Location

We stayed in the 2nd Floor Delia Row condo over Labor Day and were extremely pleased with our accommodations. The rental process went smoothly, all details were laid out clearly for us, and check in and check out were a breeze. Actually there is no need to check in and check out, simply enter and leave, which we liked a lot. The rooms are very nicely decorated with upscale furniture and the ceilings soar so you never feel cramped. The king bed in the huge bedroom is a nice change from most rentals which have a queen bed. Be advised that traffic noise on Whitaker can linger into the night. The kitchen is modern and well stocked with coffee, tea, water and soda to start us out. It has all the charm and character of an historic old home and flawlessly clean. The location is perfect for us because we like to walk a lot. It's about a 15 minute walk to the River district but we loved walking through the parks and squares and by the beautiful old homes, shops, restaurants, etc. We loved the Farmers Market on Saturday morning in Forsyth Park and it was on our end of the park. Go to Cafe Nervosa for coffee/breakfast, as it's also on our end of the park. Also go to Crystal Beer Garden, about 6 blocks away. The food is great. Never a dull moment in Savannah! We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Savannah.

The apartment (the one with the full fridge and the bay window) was AMAZING. Not only was it BEAUTIFUL but it was clean and very well furnished. Everyone involved with the rental was extremely accommodating in every way. There were a couple of issues that we needed some help with including the wireless internet not connecting properly and the central air leaking. Although each of these issues were a bit of an inconvenience, each and every aspect of these problems were fixed the first time and VERY speedily. I enjoyed every single moment of this apartment. After each and every tiring day of being out and about in a hot Georgia sun we looked forward to calling this apartment home. In fact me and my girlfriend had to pry ourselves out of it just in order to stick to our vacation schedule, we didnt want to leave lol. To sum it up this apartment made our trip exceptionally wonderful. It was worth every penny and we could not ask for more. The parking in the area was not a problem at all. We didnt have to walk more than a block to our car throughout the entire trip. Thank you SO MUCH for all of your kindness and help and we will DEFF be renting from you again! Take care! P.S. The king size bed was SO COMFY!

Amazing Anniversary Getaway!

Delia Row was everything we hoped for and more! From the complimentary fruit and water to the luxurious towels and bedding, we had everything we needed to feel right at home. The kitchen had everything you needed to prepare your meals, but with so many great restaurants within walking distance it was hard not to try them all. Stephanie gave us some great recommendations and we were not disappointed. A short drive took us to Tybee Island for a relaxing day on the beach where we were lucky enough to see a large ship coming in to port. We also enjoyed a day in history at Bonaventure Cemetery and Old Fort Jackson, where we witnessed a live canon firing. The rest of our trip was spent walking the streets of Savannah and discovering all the charms it has to offer. We enjoyed live music, local vendors and strolling along River Street. This was our first trip to Savannah, and we can't wait to return. We will definitely be back!

We recently returned home from a five day stay at Delia Row, and all I can say is that we can't wait to visit again. The condo was absolutely gorgeous and contained everything that you could ever need while on vacation. We visited Tybee Island twice during our stay, and the condo had everything that we needed for an afternoon trip to the beach, including chairs, cooler, beach towels, etc. My little one's enjoyed daily trips across the street to Forsyth Park, where they played on the playground, ran through the fountain, etc. This was our first time renting through VRBO, and Delia Row will remain at the top of our list of rentals, when vacationing in Savannah in the future.

We could not have been happier wit our stay at Delia Row House. The photos and description were very accurate. The owners have done an excellent job in creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The rental process was great with all questions answered promptly by the owners. The location of the Delia Row House is right across the street from Forsyth Park and within walking distance to the many shops and restaurants of Savannah. There is ample parking so you can leave your car and easily walk everywhere or catch the public transporation that runs thru the Historic District. We can't wait to make another trip to Savannah. This one was not long enough!

Our stay in this lovely condo was wonderful. The condo is located on beautiful Forsythe Park with a wonderful view from the large beautiful bedroom. The condo is large, clean, and very comfortable. You would have a hard time finding a better place in Savannah to stay. We met the owner while checking in and he was very nice and helpful. We highly recommend the Delia Row Condo!!

The Delia Row condo was the perfect three night getaway for me and my husband. We were looking for a place to relax and reconnect after he returned home from a 7 1/2 month military deployment and we couldn't have been more happy with this property. The moment we stepped through the door we felt at "home". We spent our days walking through the historic district and our evenings relaxing in the comfort of the condo. This was our first trip to Savannah but will definitely not be our last and we will absolutely look to stay in the Delia Row condo again!

Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Our family had the best time at Delia Row. What a welcoming place! They don't miss a trick. There was a big bowl of fresh fruit on the table, a bottled water and soda for each of us and everything you needed for a good pot of coffee. The place was beautiful,comfortable, and most importantly SPOTLESS. There is even a picnic basket if you want to have a picnic across the street in Forsyth Park. There are plenty of little restaurants with in a block if you don't want to utilize the kitchen and you can walk to anywhere in the historical district. We had walked to the river front and spent the day downtown. When it was time to walk back to Delia Row, we were tired. We decided to take the trolly tour and learned some history before being dropped off at Forsyth Park, right across the street from Delia Row. How's that for convenience!

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This place is exactly what we were looking for. Clean, spacious, great decor, fantastic amenities, and ideal location. Forysth Park sits right across from the condo, so at any time you feel like taking a stroll or just people watching, it is just a few feet from your door. There is also a great local coffee shop called 'The Bean' just right around the corner. (walking distance) As well, there is a fabulous restaurant called Local 11 Ten, with a roof top deck. Amazing food and great atmosphere. We had a rental car but barely used it. The main strip where most of the traveler visiting from out of town stay, is only a little over a mile and half. It may sound far, but there is so much architecture, cute boutiques and stores surrounding you, that you don't even notice and before you know it you are on Bay St :) Btw, we never had a problem with park, just make sure to read the street sign as they do have designated times for street cleaning. Other than that, the condo was a very peaceful and security place. I would definitely stay there again. Couldn't have picked a better place.

Didn't want to leave it! So beautiful and SO comfortable, best bed ever. Attention to detail and a feeling of days gone by with some of the original qualities visible. Coffee and tea available even with half- and-half in the fridge, along with spring water and sodas, fresh fruit on the table. Walking distance to everything worth seeing, but close to trolley use. Highly recommend and will use again.

We loved the third floor condo. The bed was comfortable and everything was as described and more. It was Memorial Day Weekend and parking was not an issue. We walked to the River front every day. Great exercise since the food was so good. Will definitely stay again

We recently stayed here for a long weekend away from kids to celebrate our anniversary, and it couldn't have been a more perfect place to stay. This condo is beautiful, so comfy, and located in the perfect place. We could walk to so many fun things to do and see, and so many fun restaurants. The condo had everything we needed, and more, and had so many thoughtful little details. Savannah is a wonderful place to visit and this is the perfect place to stay while there!

Great location, very comfortable, outstanding amenities. Owners thought of everything. Loved Savannah and the friendly helpful people. Listing description was accurate. I would recommend this property to a friend or relative. Enjoyed riding our bicycles around town. Comfortable bed and pillows with high end linens. Owner had DVD's of films shot in and around Savannah. We will definitely return.

My husband and I were celebrating our first wedding anniversary and were very pleased with the Delia Row condo. Being next to Forsythe Park was an added benefit. We took our bikes and rode everywhere we went. It was perfect for riding bikes to river street and any of the squares. The condo was very clean, which is important to me, and just big enough for the two of us. It felt like we were at home instead of visiting. I will definitely stay here next time we are in Savannah.

I wanted to surprise my wife, so I took a chance and selected a place to stay without her input. She has high standards. Especially since we were celebrating our 30th anniversary, I really wanted to please her. It worked! We had a marvelous stay and my wife was very pleased. The location is fantastic. We enjoyed walking in and around Forsyth Park and our walks to and from downtown. I have never seen such spectacular trees in a city before.

I loved staying in the Delia Row Condo. It was very clean and well taken care of. It was perfect for a honeymoon. It was also in a great location. I hope to be able to visit Savannah again and stay in this same place for many many anniversaries to come.

A Gem....Our New Home Away From Home.

My husband and I stayed at Delia Row on the weekend of April 26, 27, 28. Our son is a freshman at SCAD and it was parents' weekend. We were thrilled with our decision to forego the usual hotel stay and strike off in a new direction. We had the third floor apartment and LOVED it. It was beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and it was obvious from the moment we arrived that the owners had given a great deal of thought to the small details (which are, after all, what makes a property really special). The little fridge had bottled water, there were umbrellas provided in case of rain, the bed was very large and very luxurious, good reading lights next to the beds, wonderful Savannah-related reading materials were scattered throughout the apartment, the chairs and sofa were very comfortable. There was a small patio outside, with privacy, in case visitors wanted to enjoy a coffee outside in the morning. We had a small gltich with the wifi and Stephanie had someone come in within hours of our arrival (while were out) to fix it, pronto. Entrance and exit to and from the building was very simple and parking was a breeze. The property is located on a busy street so I was concerned about noise but we didn't hear anything loud enough to disturb our sleep (and I am sensitive to noise when i am travelling), either on the street or in the building, and this was over the weekend when they were having the SCAD Festival in the park. We will definitely be making Delia Row our go-to destination when we are in Savannah. We highly recommend it.

Very nice condo next to Forsyth Park

We had a great time staying in this very nicely appointed Condo. The very spacious master bedroom had a very comfy king bed, a 50" LG HDTV & DVD player with Comcast cable, and a large bay window with a view of Forsyth Park. The living room was very comfortable as well with 37" HDTV. The bathroom was a little small, but otherwise functional with ample high quality bath towels provided. The kitchen was very nice with electric range, frig, microwave, toaster, blender,and stocked with plates, pots, coffee maker (w/coffee), utensils, etc for us to use. The location was perfect within easy walking distance to the many restaurants on Broughton St. There was also a Krogers grocery store within easy walking distance which made staying here for the 5 days a lot better. Parking was easy with plenty of off street parking spaces available anytime of the day. For those who are noise sensitive, is the condo is on a main street with cars driving past during the daytime and evening hours. If we come back to Savannah we will stay here again for sure!

My husband and I went to Savannah on very short notice and found this gem! It was amazing! Right next to beautiful Forsyth Park and many other squares. The condo is beautifu inside and out. You can tell the owners do care about this property. Great Southern hospitality (coming from another southerner ;) ) Would love to stay here again!

After a long search of the hotels in the area, i asked a friend who she books her travel condos through, and thankfully, she lead me to VRBO. The condo & the location were perfect for us. We loved the activity in Forsyth park, 1 mile to the river- (perfect for burning some calories after eating some yummy meals) 1/2 mile to a yogo class, convenient to the trolley tours, free & easy parking near the condo, etc. The condo is updated & super cozy. The reservation management was quick to respond to all questions, & the process was easy. Upon our arrival, the "property manager" was helpful & friendly. (only one change for future stays at Delia Row - we would book the 2nd floor condo. Our rental neighbors were night owls & woke us up each night). We highly recommend the condo, so much better than a hotel.

My husband and I stayed at this property over New Year’s weekend with friends and had a wonderful time. The place was clean, and spacious. It is located right across from Forsyth Park. The bed was very comfortable. Having the use of a kitchen and living room was great bonus during our down time over a glass of wine. It was nice to take our morning walks in the park and experience the beauty of Savannah. It is a city to be explored by foot as there is much to see and do. I am a big fan of renting vacation homes/condos as they provide a more relaxing experience with all the comforts of home. I highly recommend this rental – you will not be disappointed- it has so much charm!
