This property is located on the Northeast Florida coast in St, Augustine - the oldest city in the United States. It is right on the ocean and has wonderful views of the sunrise and sunset. There is a large outdoor pool right on the ocean, a kiddie pool ,a whirlpool and tennis courts. Indoors is a heated pool, a weight and exercise room, a sauna, showers and lockers. There are only 132 units in this complex which only has 4 floors with elevators. Our family has made this our vacation place for more than 20 years. All the national restaurants are nearby as well as some favorite local ones. There is plenty of free parking on-site, it is gated and the grounds are beautiful and a very safe environment. There is a boardwalk right to the beach; there are swings and jungle gyms for the kids; and there are plenty of ocean waves and ocean breezes for everyone. There is no doubt that you will absolutely enjoy your stay here. The unit has TVs in the living room and 2 bedrooms. All have cable. None are flat screens. The unit has pots, pans, dishes, glasses, utensils, electric grill, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, clothes washer&dryer, iron and ironing board, towels, blankets, pillows. The foyer and the bathrooms have tile floors and the kitchen has wood laminate. The remainder is carpet. The unit does not have fancy granite countertops. The unit is bright and clean and well-maintained. YOU CANNOT BEAT THE PRICE AND THE LOCATION ON ST. ANASTASIA ISLAND.

We were pleasantly surprised by this unit. It is EXACTLY as pictured, straight out of the 80's. TV and microwave have DIAL controls! Stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher are original to the unit, none worked great, but they do work. They have added a new TV in the living room, and the resort is excellent, great views too. All in all a great place for the price.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This was a great place to meet my sisters from all over the U.S. and Italy to hang out. We were there for 3 nights and were very comfortable. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area. The place was very quiet, which is what we were hoping for. During the day, we explored St. Augustine. The drive to the city was convenient. The office staff at the condo was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the view from the condo balcony in the mornings with our coffee. We were able to walk the beach when the weather was nice. The owner has accurately described his property and provided good photos.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I very much enjoyed my recent stay at this condo on St. Augustine Beach. The condo on the 3rd floor was in excellent shape, had a great view of ocean and sunrise and condo pool and hot tub yet felt very private. Had everything I needed (internet, elevator, coffee maker, flat screen with cable) and was very convenient to shopping, night life, etc. Also very secure with gated entry. When something was amiss it was fixed right away. The only note I wold add is that the condo operators would not allow kids under 12 in the hot tub, accompanied or not. (something about a silly state law)Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Amenities were sparse. 1980's model 15" tvs that were hard to view. One queen bed was a water bed that wasn't mentioned. Very few dishes, not good for a large family. Owner didn't have much regard for our concerns when contacted. Left two days early.Owner response: Guest stayed the weekend Hurricane Sandy came through; guest confirmed condo was clean and well-maintained; not sure what amenities were not available; all 3 televisons worked just fine; no report of stove, refrigerator, clothes washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave not working properly; outdoor pool, spa, kiddie pool, indoor heated pool, sauna, tennis courts, exercise and weight room all available; elevators working. Condo pictures reflect actual condition and all descriptions are accurate. Guest apparently looking for something we could not provide.....................................

About the owner: We purchased this condo from the plans and watched it being constructed. We are remain several of the original owners here at Colony Reef. We love staying here and travel from our permanent home in Atlanta at least every other month. It is truly an exciting place and we are certain you will love it as much as we do. The interior has been redecorated by us; there is a new dishwasher and a new HVAC unit inside and out; we just installed a new kitchen floor a couple of months ago. There is a washer and dryer, an electric outdoor barbecue and a large outdoor patio facing right at the ocean. Come stay; you will be glad you did!!!

St. Augustine has a wonderful mix of full-time and vacation attributes. The pedestrian mall downtown and the quaint shops and restaurants mix well with the well known Brands such as Red Lobster, Longhorns, Publix, Chilis, Fridays, Applebees and the like.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
It is very restful and peaceful. The beaches are very clean and very big, even though they are driveable. The sand is very white and the ocean provides fun from wading, to boogie-boarding, to surfing to boating to fishing.
