  Wolf Glen was perfect for our family thanksgiving get together. We are a couple with three semi-adult sons and a dog, who all gathered and relaxed together in this peaceful setting. We found being in this thoughtfully designed and tastefully furnished house helped us slow down, relax and enjoy each others company. While soaking in the hot tub, we enjoyed the view of the water in the distance and deer grazing in the meadow. Between rain showers, we took a couple of hikes on the island. Lots of information on local hikes was provided. The kitchen worked out fine for cooking large meals (appreciated the dishwasher). There's no big screen tv to distract. But there are some fun board games to play by the wood burning stove. This home has many wonderful "green" features. I think our favorite was the radiant floor heat in the bathrooms. Ah, there's nothing like getting your feet warmed while in the bathroom. We hope to come again to Wolf Glen in the summer to enjoy the outdoor deck and to use the outdoor grill and smoker.

  I booked Wolf Glen for my bff's 30th birthday and we couldn't have been happier. The place was very clean and fully stocked on firewood, which was great because it rained all weekend. The kitchen is rather small for cooking but we managed. All in all, the house cozily accommodated four adults and two dogs. It was heaven waking up each morning and throwing the ball from the sprawling deck. The beach is a quick walk down a dirt road. Even better, the hot tub is big and actually hot (instead of lukewarm). If you're looking for a cozy weekend getaway that's close to both the ferry terminal and town, I highly recommend Wolf Glen.

  This cottage was perfect for our stay on Vashon. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to feel at home. I loved sitting on the deck sipping my coffee each morning while watching the deer feed on the fallen plums at the bottom of the garden. We nibbled a few of the plums ourselves. I would definitely recommend this home.

  Some friends of mine and I wanted a weekend away from Seattle and the busy pace of work. Wolf Glen on Vashon was the perfect place. Very well laid out, peaceful and idyllic - it's a little piece of heaven.

  Fantastic property with great outdoor space and access to surrounding area. Property is well maintained, attractive, and very comfortable. Owner was very helpful and accomodating to arrange the booking. This has the feeling of borrowing a friend's very special getaway cabin which is completely set up for a great visit. I would highly recommend this property. We brought our own items (travel high chair, travel crib) to make the interior of the property work with young children.

  Wolf Glen really exceeded our expectations. In addition to the great location -- really, the photos here do not do it justice! -- we especially appreciated the care the owner has taken in the details: the simple but well-equipped kitchen, the lighting and plumbing fixtures, the attention to energy conservation and recycling. But I think it was the quiet, the deep green forest and the view of the Sound we will miss the most.

  Loved our stay here. Beautiful setting. Private with views of water from living room/dining room & hot tub. Appreciated the "green" touches like the radiant heat floor in the bathroom. Denny's background in design has helped to make this a beautiful and comfortable home. Local community is great too. People are super friendly.Good restaurants and great grocery store.

  We came to Washington for my daughter's wedding and chose this place because it was pet friendly. We arrived late at night and it was chilly but the fireplace was ready and all that was needed was a lighted match and the cabin was warm, cozy, and made you feel right at home. In the morning when we woke up we were amazed by the beautiful scenery. The cove is walking distance away and there are plenty of deer and one rather well fed raccoon to see all around the island. The only complaint is that we spent a lot of time running back and forth to Tacoma and Seattle for the wedding and time just went by too fast to enjoy Wolf Glen to its full potential! Shopping is available on the island and there are many shops that we would have liked to have seen but were not able. Should anything ever bring us back to this area, we would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone!!!
