About the owner: I am the broker/owner of the local real estate office, Lake and Coast Real Estate. I have lived in North San Diego County for 25 years and have grown children and grandchildren in the area. Lake San Marcos is my dream home location. At this time I am living in La Jolla but still commuting to the Lake every day to handle the day-do-day business of my office. Living in the Lake inspired me to write my first novel, "Crossing Yesterday" and was the impetus to take on another one of my dreams (writing). I have been known to hack around the golf course on occasion and have made so many friends in this community that it feels like small-town American, but only minutes away from any kind of activity or interest you may want to explore or discover.
Why the Owner Chose San Marcos:
This is my personal home. At this time I am living in La Jolla, and can only occupy one home at a time. The choice was difficult, but my significant other lives in the Village of La Jolla, so we flpped a coin and La Jolla won.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The views, privacy, peace and quiet, gardening, walking my dogs, taking a stroll to the country club to have dinner or cocktails with friends. And most importantly, waiving to dozens of people every day who actually know who I am. It is an amazing neighborhood.
