We have stayed in the cottage twice, and just love it. The floorplan is wonderful for families and small groups. Lots of light, beautiful meadow out back, convenient to restaurants and shopping in Manchester but on a quiet, lovely street a few blocks behind the Equinox Hotel. The cottage is immaculate, and the decor is beautiful. High quality appliances in the kitchen, and the radiant heated floor in the bathroom is divine in the winter! Great linens on the beds, and luxurious towels in the bathroom. Charming, comfortable and casual....we will be back again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
Owner response: Thanks so much for the comments. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to having you back again.

The cottage was very nicely furnished. The downstairs room and kitchen area is spacious and comfortable. The second bedroom is rather small and if you are tall you might hit the slanted ceiling. Perfect for a child. Bathroom and shower is downstairs. There is no wash and drier which presents a problem for longer stays. Owner was very helpful and willing to remedy minor problems. The location is great for walks, and hikes to trails in nearby Equinox.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

The cottage was in a great location and appeared larger than the photos. Very close to Equinox Hotel and easy access to walking trails. The underfloor heating made life very comfortable during the cold snowy days. and the property was extremely clean. The lack of any wardrobes or dressers made it very difficult with regards to our clothes and this was a bit of a disappointment, together with the lack of Iron and Ironing board. The kitchen was very well equipped with high end appliances but lacked basic cooking utensils and cookware making food preparation at the cottage quite difficult. Owner very friendly and deposit returned promptly I would recommend staying at this beautiful cottage in a great location to my family and friendsRecommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My family rented the cottage for a long weekend. The pictures do not do the cottage justice! The cottage was so cozy and inviting. There were 5 of us (2 adults and 3 kids) and we felt like we had enough room. The owners have spent a lot of time renovating and decorating the cottage. The kitchen was wonderful and the heated floors were a big plus! The location was great...close to the Equinox Hotel and walking distance to town (short driving distance to Bromley and Stratton). The owner was a pleasure to deal with and our deposit was refunded right away. We enjoyed the cottage very much and would love to rent it again!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

What is advertised is real. I found the place exceptional with several attributes. One, very quiet. Two, very comfortable. The living/dining area (my 'office') has 8 windows facing the sunshine, and delightful for a working place. The kitchen is equipped with better appliances than my home, the heat is in the floor - sock feet only. Also air tight, and I kept the heat set at 62 degrees. My stay was 8 weeks. I am a long time distance runner, and I sought out a rental with good running right from the door. I got better than that, even running in pitch dark. Ha, ha, the road in front is void of cars (light traffic otherwise) at 6 PM, and I was able to run the yellow stripe uninhibited. Stunning estates, openness, trees, architecture in every direction. I even ran my 10 mile runs from the door, all of it prime running. And it's loaded with other exercise inclined folks. Hiking is from the door too. The place sits on the lower stretches of Equinox Mountain, and you look at 40 miles of the Green Mountain in the opposite direction. It reminded me of Vail. BTW, the Long Trail is 6 miles away, with parking, east on Highway 30. You'll find plenty of company on the trail. The owner is true to his word, I had zero money exchanging issues, deposit refunded promptly.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
