  The Dome it´s a very nice place to stay. It has a nice view of Buenos aires, it has a very good location because it´s right in front of the Congress and it´s near from my University, UNLaM. Also The Dome is in the same building of the Consulate of Peru, which is interesting, because we have an excellent security. The owner is a magnificent person, she´s really nice and attentive to us. The manager is a very easygoing person and it´s really easy to talk to him, he speaks English, Spanish and some Portuguese too! The Dome is a very cozy place. It´s a peaceful place in the middle of a noisy city. It´s not a five-star hotel in terms of luxury, but it´s definitely a place to call home for a few days. Me and my family enjoyed very much our stay at The Dome and we liked so much that we will be back there in January/February of 2013 and probably in July/2013 too! We recommend it.

  I found this apt. online and we stayed 2 weeks. We usually travel abroad once a year and usually to Europe but we had friends that convinced us to make Buenos Aires one of our trips. It is a long distance to get there but the trip was well worth while and having such a wonderful apartment made it truly special. The apartment is huge and very centrally located. A subway stop is near and taxies are everywhere and cheap but we love to walk and almost always walked. Everything worked in the apartment and that is something that I always check first. The apartment is actually on 3 floors and each floor was comfortable and nicely designed. Beds were very nice and linen was clean. There are two full bathrooms and another partial on the first floor. The kitchen is small and I usually cook but there are many good restaurants close and it was just easier to go out. There is a doorman that is there 24-7 and we felt quite safe. We are typical Americans that only speak English but the apt. manager spoke wonderful English and was quite helpful. As it is on 3 floors and one floor is like a loft I would not reccomend this for very small children or anyone that has a difficult time with stairs.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

  We enjoyed staying at the dome apartment, great position in a safe part of town. The apartment would benifit from some basic cooking utencils for future guests.As a result we were unable to cook as we had planned also the home on the surface looked clean however on closer inspection it had only had a surface clean. The kitchen and bathrooms inparticular. The plumbing was not good. The 1st bathroom was smelly and did not drain and the 2nd bathroom was worse, you could not use the toilet as it didnt flush (when we pointed this on departure Max the greeter knew all about it but had failed to let us know) Nadia the owner was very unhelpful also at the time of booking. With a few home touches and some TLC the apartment could be a winner.

  Owner response: Hi Julie, Thank you very much for your constructive criticism. I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay at the dome and sorry that you had problems with the plumbing. If you had pointed that out at the beginning of your stay, we would have had a plumber over right away to take care of the issue. Also if you were not 100% satisfied with the cleaning we would have had the cleaning lady back to redo the cleaning to your satisfaction. The plumbing problems have since been taken care of and we will look into re-stocking the kitchen. Thanks again. Nadia
