  This is a wonderful place for a vacation. The accomodations were excellent,- clean, comfortable and well maintained. The location was perfect for us as we walked to restaurants, etc. The owner was exceptionally helpful with any questions. I would definately come back again and have recommended it to others.

  This was my second time to Los Barriles and I will make it a regular vacation. I went once in March and once in Nov. I love this spacious suite with it's high-end finishing (marble) and the bathroom is very large and elegant. This property is self-sufficient with the best of both worlds. You have the condo life on one side, very private and relaxed and the Resort on the other, busy and upbeat. All the staff treated us like old friends and went out of their way to serve us. Everything is within walking distance. You can buy all your fresh fish and vegetables in town and sit down for a drink at the Roadrunner or Smoky's. The restaurants are very quaint and I especially loved Otra Vez and Tio Pablos. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony every morning with my tea and watching the sun come up. The weather is perfect, warm to hot during the day and cool at night. I went snorkeling about 200 meters up the beach by the rocks, rented quads on the beach and kayaked right out front of the complex. There's also hiking and biking trails. It can be very windy in the winter which is great for wind sports, but I prefer to watch. It's also fun to watch the fishing boats in the afternoon arriving with their catch. You can see the amount and the types of fish by the flags on the boat. We also rented a car and toured the baha. It's worth the trip to Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo for shopping. I love Los Barriles and can't wait to return!

  My husband and I spent five great nights at this condo and would definitely recommend it. It is spacious, comfortable, and very convenient for fishing from the next-door hotel, Villa de Palmas. Although we initially had trouble with a non-working refrigerator, the owners and condo maintenance manager, worked very quickly to get it repaired. The condo is well equipped with cooking utencils and dishes. The fishing was great and the convenience of grocery stores, etc. within walking distance a great advantage. We enjoyed many good restaurants--several who cooked our fresh fish wonderfully-- in Las Barriles as well as The Bay, conveniently located outside our door. This is a great find with beautiful views of the ocean and swimming pool.

  My husband and I stayed here for two weeks, celebrating his birthday with some sunshine, scuba diving and relaxation. We loved having our morning coffee watching the sunrise and the fishing boats heading out. The little town is easy to walk to and we enjoyed trying different restaurants. Our favorite for both food and view was the beachfront restaurant right at the Villas de Cortez. The villa is nicely appointed and clean. The pool and beachbar were wonderful and there were enough lounge chairs with a shade umbrella avaliable whenever we wanted to just relax at the pool. Also, the hosts were very prompt at answering our questions. We would happily rent this unit again.

  We just came back from 3 glorious weeks at Villas De Cortez. The weather was perfect the condo had everything we needed to really enjoy our stay without even having a car. We were able to walk to town & just loved how friendly everyone was to us!....it was great going to buy fresh seafood every day from the gal across from the grocery store. All the local restaurants in town were great!....the restaurants at the Villas were awesome...we'd highly recommend the breakfast at the hotel as well as the Bay View for dinner. We rented a quad while there and did lots of exploring. Something for everyone.!!!!

  We just spent 8 nights at this studio and had a wonderful time. The unit was as described, very clean and comfortable and I loved the travertine floors and beautiful wood accents. The views are SPECTACULAR and the staff on site are very friendly and accomodating. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the 2 for 1 drinks from 1pm - 6pm is a plus. This is definitely a fishing town but there are many other things to do and I had fun swimming in the pool and beautiful ocean looking at fish and enjoying the abundant sunshine. I would recommend getting a rental car and/or renting an ATV which is not hard to do in this town. Heather was very helpful and responsive to my questions. This is a winner!!!
