Wonderful Portland apartment

We've stayed in many VRBO rentals both in North America and Europe, and this apartment was one of the very best. The apartment is light, airy, spacious and was immaculately clean. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking and had everything we needed to prepare our own meals. The neighbourhood is an excellent location, especially if you don't have a car and want to use public transportation or walk. It's a lovely, peaceful residential area, but is only a few blocks walk to some excellent neighbourhood restaurants, many local shops, a supermarket and drug store. If you like a slightly longer walk, you can walk over the river to the Pearl District or up to the Mississippi Arts District. We had no problem finding parking at any time and it was an easy drive to Mt Hood for skiing. The owner really went out of her way to be helpful and make our stay extra pleasant. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment for either tourists or business visitors. We hope to stay again on our next visit to Portland.

Our stay for 8 days was wonderful. This apartment is well appointed and super clean. Owners even left flowers. The bed is very comfortable. Within walking distance to restaurants and shopping.

The apartment is very beautiful and comfortable. I spend around two months, and I felt quite at home in this room. The interior decorations are simple and lovely and useful! And these tableware are charming! The air from outside is very fresh and good smell. And especially the owner is very kind and nice friendship! The place, that is very convenient, so I can walk for shopping and eating, and ride Max to Down Town. And it"s quiet area. A lot of green, flower, bird.... I loved it!

My wife and I spent 3 days here during our stay in Portland . The apartment was spotless when we arrived and was spacious, well appointed, and very pleasant. It is situated in a wonderful older neighborhood and very close to a number of good restaurant, shops, etc. The owner recommended several great spots for us to visit. We have stayed at numerous vacation rentals for years and would recommend this place to anyone. We are looking forward to an extended stay in the future.

This is such a lovely and spacious apartment. The neighborhood is perfect for leasurely walks and convenient for basic needs. The inside is so cheerful and there are windows in every room. We stayed 6 days with our little dog. The owner made us feel comfortable with her welcoming note and helpful information. We will definitely return in the near future.

Wow! What a amazing property. This was my first time in Portland, and not only do I love the city, I love this apartment. The location is ideal. I didn't rent a car, so having restaurants, shopping and bars and the MAX train and bus system all within walking distance was great. The neighborhood is quite and the apartment is exactly what you need- Comfortable, beautiful, great amenities, fair price and very clean. I would highly recommend this property to anyone traveling to Portland. I will be back soon!

My husband and I rented the top floor apartment recently and we had a wonderful experience. The apartment was pristine, the owner was incredibly thoughtful and helpful. There were fresh flowers on the dining room table and the bed linens were lovely. The kitchen was thoughtfully provisioned with coffee. I would most definitely recommend this rental to anyone visiting the Portland area. A ten minute walk to the train that takes you across the river into downtown. The Flowering Lotus is a lovely restaurant a few blocks away. MP
