Thank you for a great stay at your lovely home on the Beach. We loved the master suite and the boys loved that they each had their own room. We had too short of a visit and are looking forward to coming back in the summer to spend more time at the beach.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

We've stayed at this wonderful beachfront home twice now. It's great for families with lots of room to spread out so everyone is comfortable. The view and accessibility to the beach is unbeatable. The house is clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked for cooking. Reservation process was easy and check-in instructions were thorough and helpful. The top floor suite is incredible and twice now we've given it up to other guests in our party (like parents :-)) but next time we go back we are going to stay in that deluxe room! The owners have done a wonderful job in making our stay comfortable, relaxing and fun and we appreciate it!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a great stay! We were a large group with young children so it was nice to be right on the beach and to have the convenience of easily going back and forth from the house to beach with the kids. Even though we didn't have any problems it was also nice to know there was help just next door if we needed it. The house was comfortable, had everything we needed and has a fabulous view. This was the perfect place to celebrate Mom's 70th with all her kids and grandkids. Thanks.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had the most amazing time at this house! It was big so lots of space for all the folks staying (10 total) and very clean when we arrived. We loved that there was nothing but tall grass between the house and the beach and it was so nice to wake up every morning looking at the ocean. It provided the perfect place to celebrate 2 birthdays and have friends from different areas gather for a weekend of fun, food and love. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a weekend getaway.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

A group of girlfriends got together for two nights at the beach and this place was perfect. It was late September and it was sunny and nearly 80 all weekend. We walked out to the beach for a morning yoga session, spent the afternoon in the sunshine and walked out in the evening to watch the phosphorescence in the surf. This home was clean, spacious, had some great board games (like awkward family photos!), and had everything we needed to cook all weekend. We hope to go back next year!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

The house was beautiful and we had a fabulous retreat for nine people. The eagle landed on the perch in front of the house, the shore birds were everywhere. The house was just as described. The property was clean and very comfortable. I will come back to this incredible location and house whenever I can.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Salt Aire. The house is at once spacious and cozy - we were able to grocery shop nearby and eat in, enjoying the view while relaxing over a delicious meal. (you can get fresh seafood from Westport docks - yum!) Even the kitchen has a great view! Having the wide-open beach right out front led to baseball, long walks and great wildlife viewing. The house itself was immaculate, comfortable and well-stocked with everything we needed. It was a convenient and easy drive from Seattle area. We'll be back - next time with the whole gang!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Salt Aire is a great place to relax and an easy drive from Seattle. The house is just the right mix of beautiful and comfortable. There is great birding near by, too. The house is really well maintained and comfortable for a couple, or family gathering. I will return and have recommended it to several friends. It's a great find!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

About: I am a United Methodist pastor in the Pacific Northwest. The beach house is a favorite gathering place for my family, large enough for children and grandchildren. It is also a wonderful sanctuary, away from city life, where I retreat to study and write. Summer fun on the beach is glorious, but storm-watching in winter is also wonderful! This is a wild coast, with grass-covered dunes and magnificent sunsets. I love reading by the fire and listening to the wind inthe chimney pipes. I am also a birder, and this is a great spot for watching birds, especially in migration season. I am delighted to share this wonderful home with you! I hope to retire here someday.
Why Westport:
This is the shortest drive from my home in Seattle to a beach with ocean surf in Washington State, 2 1/2 hours of easy driving in all weather conditions. The coast is gorgeous and has a natural wildness that I love. We have wonderful neighbors, and the small town life of Westport is a joy. From this spot you can also make easy day trips to the Oregon coast, Long Beach Peninsula, Hoh Rainforest, and Olympic National Park.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We have gone out on charter fishing boats (salmon especially), as well as bird-watching and whale-watching tours, from the Westport marina 4 miles from the house. There are local favorite restaurants featuring local seafood, and frequent local festivals (e.g. bluegrass, driftwood, cranberry, art studio tours). For large-store shopping and movie theaters, the city of Aberdeen is only 30 minutes away.
