  Stellar stay! We are already looking at next year's calendar to book again. The owners are delightful, diligent and caring! We spent 3 days in Volcano and then 6 at Kolea. We were impressed from the moment we walked in. The condo was neat, new, clean, comfortable, quiet, well decorated and has an excellent coooling system with fans. We simply found every amenity to be just what we needed and hoped for. Some of the highlights included the well stocked condo, including laundry soap. We had already purchased some, but appreciated the supply. The beach towels and water toys were a hit! The bathrooms are enormous and beautifully designed for family and privacy. The Hilton priviledges were awesome for the day we spent at their lagoon!!! A-bay Aloha days for $25 for 4 hours for all the equipment use we could do was a homerun for us! The cleanliness of the grounds was superb and the gardeners were quiet and busy and so friendly. The pool was often vacant and we loved having the lounging area and kid beach so accomodating and 300 feet away from the condo. We could barefoot it there even on a hot day. The shopping was fun and had everything we needed. We were glad we stopped at Safeway in Kona for milk, meat (Hawaiin), juice, and bread, etc. But, all other needs were at the market. We spent everyday at the beach and used the grill for dinner, easy and fun. We hit Mauna Kea for a hiking adventure and it was easy to drive to from the condo. Walking and running trails were great. I felt safe exercising alone. The luau next door at the marriot was great to take in from the fringes. The snorkling was quite good. We saw many fish, turtles, fish with fins that made us think they were sharks from above the water, they were not:) but fun just the same. Great beach combing and beautiful view of Mauna Loa. Moreover, the price could not be beat! Thank you to Dan and Family.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  KOLEA 11D “Kolea 11D-Waikolea amazing!!” Reviewed May 9, 2012 NEW We recently rented 11D and the experience was amazing!! We had booked with another Villa but upon arrival was not given access to the Villa. We had a toddler and were forced to spend the night in a hotel and was not contacted by the company til 2:00 the following day for access. But by then we had to rent another condo due to the fact that we had nowhere to stay. We were able to get into Kolea 11D. Kolea 11D was a beautiful condo and the pictures don't do it justice. We will definitely book again!! Amazing service and experience!!! Stayed April 2012

  KOLEA 11D “Waikoloa- Vacation (11D)” Reviewed May 10, 2012 NEW I would like to comment on what a great vacation we had at Kolea, staying in Kolea 11D.
