It's an easy walk to Lincoln Rd or the Convention Center. The beach is right at the hotel. There is a great pool, night club, restaurant and gym in the hotel.
South Beach areas: The two main desirable locations in South Beach are to be close to Lincoln Rd or Ocean Drive. There are the action centers of South Beach. They are also the most populated by tourists and locals alike. Ocean Drive, which runs from 1st Street to 15th Street, is mostly hotels and restaurants with some some stores for shopping. During the day, Ocean Drive tends to be the main destination in South Beach. For dinner, shopping and night-time people watching Lincoln Rd is the place to be after 5pm. The higher end hotels sit on Collins Ave between 16th and 20th streets. These hotels sit directly on the ocean and are a short walk to Lincoln Rd.
