Perfectly remodeled 1st Floor, 2 bedroom, 1 bath, Hi Country Haus condo. Building 7, is situated along the Fraser River, where you can relax on the covered patio and soak in the mountain surroundings. The Fraser trail picks up right behind the complex and provides a truly picturesque walk down the Fraser river. Located 1st. level near the back of our complex for the ideal, serene vacation.
Furnished with a new king bed in the master as well as a full and twin bed in the 2nd bedroom. The living room couch provides additional sleep space with a queen size pull out bed. A plush featherbed topper has been lovingly added to eliminate the 'bar.' We love the 'family' vacation so, there is also a pack-n-play, high chair and box fans for your use.
The Hi Country Haus recreation center is equipped with a large in-door pool, four hot tubs, arcade games, pool and air hockey tables, large TV area, Wi-Fi access, laundry facilities, locker rooms, sun deck, outdoor grills, eating area, playground and sledding hill. Pool towels are provided by the rec center for $1.00 for a one time use. Bringing an extra towel for the pool/hot tub is recommended.
Provided entertainment include: two TV's, one with a DVD player and one with a VHS player. Enjoy a small library of books, movies and board games. Land line phone service is not available in the condo. WiFi service is free and provided at the condo and the High Country Haus rec center. It is recommended that vacationers bring a cell phone.
Everyday items such as toilet paper, dish soap, garbage bags, bar soap and paper towels, etc. are provided. The kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, oven/stove, dishwasher, microwave, sink, crock pot and cooking/eating utensils.
Hi Country Haus remains on the Winter Park Resort bus route as current route changes have eliminated the majority of pick-ups throughout Fraser. Kids 5 and under ski free. Fulfill your dreams of the ideal mountain vacation with all the amenities and luxuries of home. Enjoy!

Nicely decorated, real fireplace (bring your firewood), king bed is temperpedic, big tv...My sister raved about how greatly stocked the kitchen was with any tool you could need including a crock pot and kids plates! Also, it's on the first floor so it's easily accessed with kids and groceries. The bus picks up literally outside the condo to go into the ski hill...it's really perfect, small, but perfect!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

My family recently stayed in this condo for a couple nights. It was perfect for a family of 4 (2 kids under 10). We were able to access the ski bus to the mountain easily and didn't have to drive or worry about parking. The condo is comfortable and has everything you need. It is conveniently located close to town so you can access the restaurants and shops in the town of Winter Park. It was a good value and I would recommend this condo to anyone that asked.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

Awesome condo!!! My wife and I stayed for a little under a week and had an great time! The king size bed was great and very comfortable! The kitchen was packed with anything you could/would possibly need, and was just perfect for what we needed. The trails were great to hike (we did that several times in the morning and what a view!) Couldn’t have asked for better weather (but its Colorado it’s never really that bad anyways). There is lots to do in WP, we went to the Foundry (the new bowling alley/movie theater) and had a great time there along with the actual activities at winter park. We had a great time and I’m sure anyone looking for a nice get-a-way would be more than happy with this condo. It was a trip to remember!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed at this condo in the middle of August. The unit is exactly as described, with an extremely well-appointed kitchen (which is a big deal for us, since we tend to cook all of our meals), with all the usual pots/pans as well as nice small appliances (far more than we usually expect). We were traveling with my six month old son, and they let us come up early and stay late at no extra charge since the unit wasn't being used the same day we came/left. In addition, there's a pack and play and a great high chair for use. Steve answered all of our questions and even sent us additional information about things to do in Winter Park. We'll definitely stay again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We stay in WP quite a bit. We usually stay at Hi Country Haus because of it's location and abilility to find affordable lodging.Steve's unit is the one of the nicest ones we have stayed at. We like that it was on the first floor and that had direct access to the creek for our kids to play in. The unit was well furnished and had a king Tempurpedic bed(very nice). Steve was very upfront before we booked about the pool being repaired. He took care of us and provided other accomadations for swimming. This was the perfect place for our family of 4! It was very clean, well-maintained, beautifully decorated, and we loved that it was located on the 1st floor (made it easier to unload our belongings). We do not ski so we enjoyed sledding at Colorado Adventure, which was a ton of fun! We also enjoyed a game of Monopoly and the hot tub/pool in the evenings. We spent 6 nights in this lovely condo while skiing at Winter Park. The kitchen is well-provisioned and it's obvious the owners thought of everything needed to make one's stay comfortable. The condo met our needs perfectly and was tastefully decorated. The shuttle bus picked up right outside the condo which was quite convenient. The property was quiet which made for good sleeping. We enjoyed our time at this condo and in Winter Park. This condo met our needs perfectly....comfy, warm, well-provisioned, nicely renovated. The entire transaction was handled professionally and personably, and the owners were very responsive and helpful. We would rent here again in a heartbeat. Winter Park has many wonderful restaurants and eateries. On this trip, we discovered The Library - a brewpub....and we discovered The Cheeky Monk at the ski village...great food, terrific warm adult beverages, friendly staff, short walk to the shuttle. The condo and its owners, the skiing, the people, the restaurants, and the atmosphere added up to a wonderful vacation.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We had a wonderful time in Winter Park. We were surprised by a firework display for Mary Jane's birthday. We were able to see the beautiful display from the parking area out front. It was a treat. The condo was very comfortable and the bus picked us up out front. Really convenient for the family having two bedrooms. The hot tub and pool were nice after a day of skiing- remember to bring a towel.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children.

About the owner: We are a family of four that enjoys ALL Colorado and the outdoors have to offer. We live near Denver, CO and make it up to the mountains as much as possible. We hope those renting our condo enjoy it as much as we do.
Why the Owner Chose Hi Country Haus:
The location of the property is what we have always dreamed of. We have two kids, 6 and 3 and the large grass area, walking trails, river, woods and Hi Country Haus amenities (pool, hot tub and game room) were a perfect match for our family. The Hi Country Haus complex is on the Winter Park Resort bus route and picks up just outside the front door of the condo. This makes it easy and convenient to get to Winter Park for skiing and riding. Winer Park Resort has discontinued the majority of the Fraser stops so Hi Country Haus is in a unique and grateful position to still be on the bus route. I love to fish and the river is accessible and loaded with trout. It is extremely quiet and serene but still walking distance to restaurants, a corner market, movie theater and shopping. It is a quick bike ride to the town center park for concerts, skate park, and the playground.
