  What can I say except we are about to make this our third stay! We NEVER go back to the same place twice, but love this property and the owners so much, we are going to stay again! This place is SO well stocked, that when we stay somewhere, we traditionally ADD a new item to make the place even better. The first time we stayed, all the usual items like Blender, Toaster, Knives, Pans, Beach toys, Chairs, etc were covered! This past time, it was even harder! We're talking all the way down to buying measuring spoons! It's well stocked, and a great place to stay. The first time we stayed, the owner's dad came by to make sure we were comfortable. This place is very well decorated, well stocked, clean, well maintained, and I have recommended it to others. This is SO much nicer (and more economical) that staying on the beach side.. It's a 60 second walk across to the beach, and none of the drunks in your backyard at all hours.! We're going back again this year!

  Our family loved this wonderful beach home! The house is gorgeous and comfortable. The covered porch is perfect for chilling in the evening after a day on the beach or witnessing a gorgeous sunrise. The beach is extremely convenient and we really liked the quiet neighborhood. This house has it ALL!! We will definitely return! Thank you Vanderdise owners!!

  The house exceeded all our expectations. Beautiful, well equipped, comfortable, spacious - We had grand kids traveling with us and they started calling it "our" Texas house. We met 4 other families staying in other homes all within walking distance - it was agreed by all that this home was the best!!

  What a great place to stay! The house was walking distance to the beach. (only 2 blocks at the most) The home was fully furnished (very nice and cozy) and had everything you would need while you were away from your home. There was alot of room for our party of 8...no crowding what so ever. If you are looking for a place away from the hustle and bustle of being right in town this is your place. I liked the fact that you could walk directly to the beach...not having to get in the car and drive then having to pay to park at a public beach. We bought a canopy and some chairs and set up our 1st day there on the beachand left them there til we packed up to go home. Very safe to leave your stuff at the beach without worrying if it will be stolen. I am already planning our trip for next year and hope to rent this home again!

  We have rented beach houses for the last 20 years and this was one of the very BEST!! The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable and in a great location.Loved that shower!! My grandbabies loved the pool and being able to walk to the beach. Just wished we could have stayed longer!! Thanks for a great vacation and it was great to get to meet Cassie!

  The home was exactly as picture din the photos, and more! We had 4 wonderful days in this beautiful home in Galveston. Its fantastic decor, sheer comfort and proximity to the beach made it a very enjoyable and memorable weekend. All the appointments made it feel like home, only better because of the great view! We wished we could have stayed longer and certainly plan to visit again. We would definitely recommend to anyone wishing for a relaxed and private getaway to Galveston.

  This was our first time in doing this kind of vacation and the owner was wonderful. They walked us through the process and answer our many questions. We were there with our adult children so one thing that was very important to us was privacy for everyone. So many of the houses that we looked at one of the sleeping areas was the living room. It was so nice having a private bedroom for everyone. The entire house was wonderful but the big hit was the bathroom with the double shower heads. We were there for a family reunion so siblings also rented houses in the area. They were a bit envious of us because we were the only ones who had no issues at all with our house (they were also a bit envious about the shower). Of course you cannot go to the Houston area without going to an Astos game, only about an hour away.

  We really enjoyed the place! It was clean, nicely appointed, and everything was very good. IF you want to enjoy the beach and be away from the traffic and bustle of Galveston the city, we would strongly encourage you to give this a try. Our only complaint is that we thought the house was on the same side of the road as the beach and it was not. However, the traffic this far west is minimal, even on the 4th of July, that it was not a big deal. From the deck we could watch waves on the beach and watch the Sunrise over the Gulf! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a vacation get away!!

  Extremely nice, very spacious & great location near the beach. Our family had a wonderful time & would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend this rental.

  Everything was wonderful. We stayed the week with 4 teenagers & the house was perfect for us. It had everything we needed. The house was clean the beds were comfortable. I loved sitting out on the front porch in the mornings & having my coffee & watching the ocean. The neighborhood was quite & easy to find our way around.
