  The studio was clean, filled with everything you need for a week stay; kitchen ware, fan, fridge, and 26 steps from the sand. The location is perfect to watch surfers, watch beach happenings as you sit in your beach chair provided by the studio. There is also a room filled with surfboards, beach bikes and all kinds of sand toys at your disposal free of charge. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this agency and this location. They were very conginial, helpful, friendly and allowed our stay to be very nice.

  We could not have asked for more on our recent visit to Oceanside, staying at Rent the Strand. The room was clean, well maintained and very comfortable for our family of 5. The photos were good, but do not do justice to just how amazing the property is. The owners are very helpful and friendly. I look forward to staying here again as soon as possible.

  We had such a great time here. You can't ask for a better spot, literally steps away from the beach. The boogie boards were a hit although some of them have seen better days, they still worked for our kids. The only thing we really missed was having a coffee maker in the room. Otherwise it was great and really family friendly. Easy to find our way around the area and lots of fun activities within walking distance. Will totally use this spot again when we plan our next trip out there.

  Great spot for kids! We loved being right on the beach. We even saw a bunch of dolphins. We had access to beach bikes, boogie boards, and sand toys. So we didn't have to spend any extra on renting those items. The rooms were clean and the atmosphere was family friendly. We went with 2 other families and hope to go back and make it a tradition!

  The day our daughter came home from Afghanistan, our family was able to spend a week together on the Strand. At first I was concerned about having the Strand between us and the ocean but it added a wonderful dimension to our stay. One of the things I miss the most is the four of us hopping on a bicycle and riding up and down the Strand whenever we wanted. We were far enough from the pier that we enjoyed a private beach front most days with the provided beach chairs. We also found lots of shells and beach glass right out front during low tides. The apartments are modern, clean, and sweet. With open windows on the front and back of our apartment, we had a perfect ocean breeze flowing through and the ocean waves to keep us "chillaxing". We had everything we needed including a gas grill for our fresh, caught Baracuda taco's. Oceanside is the best beach town in SoCal. We really enjoyed a deep sea fishing trip (only $30 each). Shannon is very helpful and easy to work with, with her quick response to every question. Thank you Shannon, for a vacation our family will never forget. You will see us the next time we can visit our Marine!

  This condo was much larger and nicer than the photos reflected. It is perfectly located on The Strand and included covered parking and access to beach chairs, bikes, etc to enhance our stay. We will definitely be looking to stay at this condo again next year. The owner was most helpful with questions or issues during our stay.
