Welcome to 451 Sea Rocket, a Kiawah Premier Oceanwoods Cottage located on the West Beach in Kiawah Island, SC. This 'Listen To The Waves' family retreat is a 3BR/ 2BA cottage, just yards from the beach where it's hard not to play in the surf. It's great to be close enough to the beach where you can run back for more towels.
451 Sea Rocket is a great location for families who want to be close to the beach and Island activities, but still have some quiet privacy. Take advantage of the bike rentals on the Island as well as the kayaks, golf equipment, fishing boats or charters, kids camp, many teen activities, nature center, world class golf or tennis, not to mention the 30 miles of paved bike or walking trails along all of Kiawah Island's beautiful landscapes. The 10 miles of the soft private beach will offer the perfect spot to relax or explore. This is a great beach to find your first starfish or sand dollar. If the scenic hiking trails and out of the way beach didn't bring out your inner explorer then just take a short drive to Freshfields, for shopping and dining. If you are more of a history buff, then lose yourself in Charleston's historic downtown. Charleston's only a 30-minute drive from Kiawah Island.
As you enter 451 Sea Rocket, you will find its simple and clean decore, well cared for and set up for the perfect family vacation. A charming bedroom is on the left with 2 twin beds. You will also find a second bedroom with a queen bed. The shared bathroom between; has all the amenities, including a hair dryer. Towards the back of this lovely home you will find the master bedroom in soft blue hues featuring a king sized bed, walk-in closet, and private bath. The spacious living room is comfortable and clean, featuring two sofas, one of which is a pullout queen sleeper. Offering plenty of space for the entir family. To the right is a fully equipped, updated kitchen with everything you need to serve family and friends the 'Day's Catch'. A step away from the kitchen is an open dining area that seats 6 and will provide all the comforts for your dining needs. To the right of the dining room is a recently enclosed sunroom that provides extra space for you and your guests. The sunroom is a great place for game night. From the sunroom step out onto the outdoor deck and enjoy the quiet wooded view. This is the owner's favorite spot to listen to the ocean waves. The outdoor deck is the perfect spot to have your morning coffee. Please don't forget to enjoy the gas grill later in the day.

About the owner: My husband and I discovered Kiawah in 1992. We retuned in 1995 and came back every summer after that; finally purchasing our cottage in 2004. It is still our number one vacation spot with many great memories.
