Government Camp at its best! Beautiful 2 story mountain retreat with high ceilings, large picture windows and a cozy wood pellet stove. You'll enjoy cooking in the deluxe kitchen which features brand new appliances, knotty pine custom cabinetry, granite counter tops and a fully stocked assortment of bake ware, cookware and dishes. Dining room table seats 8 and the adjacent kitchen bar seats an additional 4.
Relax in great room after a fun day in the great outdoors which features a flat screen TV, a wood pellet fireplace, leather sofa and two leather recliners.
We have two bedrooms featuring full/twin bunk beds on the main floor, and upstairs there are two bedrooms with a queen bed in each room and a third bedroom with two queen beds.
There is plenty to do right in Government Camp, sledding right outside the house is perfect for small children as well building your own snowman, snow cave or igloo. Ski Bowl is a 5 minute drive for tubing, skiing and snowboarding. Timberline and Mt Hood Meadows are also a short 20 minute drive away.

We had an amazing stay at this house. The location is central within walking distance from all downtown government camp loop shops and restaurants. You can walk to snowshoeing and a short drive over to intertubing. However, our kids love just sledding down the driveway! The house is completely updated and beautiful inside. THe owners were incredibly receptive to all questions and my family will definitely be coming back to this house next year!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Had a wonderful time on what is our second visit to this great house. We have stayed at the Evergreen House many times over the past years and it is always an enjoyable experience. Rain, Sun or Snow there is always plenty to do. It is a very short walk to the activities in government camp or the ski slopes. Recently rebuilt, everything is new and updated and exteremly comfortable for a small or large group. We look forward to our next visit!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
