With over 3500 square feet this is a wonderful vacation home in the heart of the Colorado mountains, adjacent to the Rio Grande National Forest. Close to skiing, famed trout fishing, atv riding, river rafting, mountain biking, hunting, world class golf, and a myriad of activities for year round fun.
The main house has two bedrooms, one with a king bed and bunks, and the master has a king bed and a private bath with a wonderful jacuzzi tub and walk in shower. There is also a washer and dryer and half bath. The large living area has a large screen TV, dining table that seats ten, and a separate breakfast area. The large, fully equipped kitchen has granite counter tops and is perfect for entertaining. All of this opens out onto a large deck with spectacular views of the mountains.
The walk out basement is available for parties of over six people (for an additional $50 per night). This space has a TV, sofa and loveseat, bar, game table, fridge, and two queen beds to accommodate another family. The panoramic views are breathtaking.
The property is heavily treed, private and quiet with the National Forest just a short ride away ( .2 miles) at the end of the road. There is an outdoor fireplace for family fun.

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. There were 6 adults and 8 children. Plenty of places to sleep and room to hang out. We loved seeing the deer walking through the yard every evening and the views from the deck were breathtaking. The property was clean and well-maintained. The owner was very helpful and quickly answered any questions we had. Plus, it was only a 25 minute drive to the ski slopes at Wolf Creek! I would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative.Recommended for: Families with teenagers.

This house is beautiful, incredibly clean, and very comfortable. We had 7 adults and 7 kids and still had more space than we knew what to do with--when the kids got too crazy playing games, you could go read a book on the cushy basement sofas. We watched deer about 30 feet from the house from the deck. The kitchen is huge, very thoughtfully supplied, and we managed to get everyone around the dining table for dinner. - Kitchen is well stocked: plenty of pots, pans, dishware and flatware. - Several boardgames provided: great alternative for kids' activity rather than TV. - Big bathrooms, lots of hot water. - Plenty of private outside space, great view of the valley. - Plenty of space for ski gear. - 20 minutes to Wolf Creek.Owner response: Thank you for your kind words!
