  A beautiful, relaxing, perfectly located home in one of the world's most beautiful places! I cannot put into words how magical the pool, landscape & privacy of this home really were. We are a family of 3, my husband, myself, & our teenage son, perfect size. Coming home to your own pool and to grill dinner with a glass of wine was so relaxing! Walk to the left & you are at Shipwreck beach, the Grand Hyatt(ie: Anara Spa for messages, restaurants, saltwater pool) walk to the right from the house & there is tennis, Poipu beach, one of the world's best, Brenneke Beach--where by the way, our son boogie boarded every morning...saying it was outstanding! You are also literally 5 minutes from awesome restaurants, like Tortilla Republic. Also, Pukka Dogs were the most amazing hotdogs 'Hawaiian Style'. If you go & rent Hale Nani Mala, you are one lucky traveller! We hope to return :)

  This was the best house we have ever stayed in on Kauai. hands down gorgeous with every possible thing we could want. We loved the way the bedrooms and baths are separated by the living space. The pool was gorgeous and it was a good thing because it rained the entire week (which hardly ever happens on the south shore!) We would come back here in a heartbeat. You will adore this place!

  This home, pool and surrounding gardens were beyond expectations! We were blown away by the sheer beauty of the surrounding gardens and pool. This was a trip of a lifetime for us and it will definitely meet the needs of anyone wanting a special getaway. We took hundreds of pictures of this place just hoping we can look back on them and feel the warmth and beauty we were fortunate enough to have experienced at Hale Nani Mala. It was spotless when we arrived and had no problems with bugs or anything else for that matter. We enjoyed many gecko visitors in the yard each day and loved hearing them chatter with each other in the evenings. One thing we loved about this house was the location! You literally can walk out your front door and walk on a beautiful paved, well lit path down to the beach in just about 10-15 minutes. If you go out the door to the right the trail is right there and if you go left where it splits it will take you to the Grand Hyatt/Shipwreck beach. If you go to the right you can walk straight to Poipu Beach only crossing one small road the entire time. It's difficult to sum up this amazing property in words. Believe me you will not be disappointed if you choose this as your destination. Sitting outside in the mornings overlooking the pool, listening to the birds and watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee in hand was a huge treat each day! The pool is in full sun most of the day and heated so it's the perfect temperature. If you need to get out of the sun there is a lovely lounging/BBQ area just off the kitchen (equipped with a ceiling fan for your comfort). The king bed in the master bedroom was incredibly comfortable. We regretted having to leave it. If you aren't quite ready to leave it each morning you can linger lazily in bed and enjoy the garden view through the screened french doors as the sun begins to gradually stream in. This home was very well equipped with all the kitchen utensils and appliances you could ever need as well as numerous beach toys, coolers, mats and umbrellas located in the garage. The ice maker and washer and dryer were invaluable to us! The home does not have A/C but you won't need it. Nearly 85 every day during our visit but once you open the panel doors (which have hidden screens) and turn on the numerous ceiling fans you'll be very comfortable. I fully recommend this property as your next vacation destination! It's amazing and affordable! (full review to follow on Trip Advisor - SunSeekerWA)

  This beautiful yet comfortable and welcoming home is perfect for a couple or a family of 3 or 4. It is located in the heart of Poipu Beach, and greenbelt access allows a short walk to the left to the Grand Hyatt or a leisurely stroll down to the beach to the right. The central location enables day trips to anywhere on the island, from Waimea Canyon to Hanalei Bay. Meals can be prepared in the full-size chef's kitchen, or travellers can eat out in the many restaurants in Poipu, nearby Koloa Town, and Lihue. Snorkel in the morning at Poipu beach, grab a bite at Brennecke's (or takeway their great deli sandwiches), then enjoy an afternoon or evening by the home's gorgeous pool. Amenities such as the outdoor shower, full-size washer/dryer, internet connection, and cable TV truly ensure a truly comfortable and relaxing stay!

  We spent one week at this property in October 2011 with a family of four (including two children 11 and 9) and we had one of the best times during a vacation. We highly and enthusiastically recommend this property. The house is located in residential part of the the Poipu Kai resort (no condos around) and is a short minute walk to Poipu beach. This is a fantastic property equipped with all the amenities in a very upscale neighborhood. Two bedrooms (master bedroom and master bathroom area is huge), an amazing living room, huge kitchen, lanai, laundry, internet access and an office area. The pool is amazing and the surrounding garden around the property is spectacular. This was a great location as a home base to visit all the sites in Kauai, including a day drive to the North shores and Princeville, Lihue and Waimea Canyon. It is also close to the Grand Hyatt, a great place to enjoy the sunset and see a Luau. But this was mostly a great place to start your day before heading out and unwind in the afternoons after all the day activities. There are shopping centers within a 5 minute drive (including Starbucks) where you can get groceries and any beach accessory you need. However there are plenty of towels, beach chairs and snorkeling equipment in the property. We enjoyed sitting by the pool in the evening enjoying the breezes and sipping mai-tais. Mahalo!
