We had a fantastic time, and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. I was originally looking at booking a room at timberline lodge, but found this place with 10x more room, and less $.. Great decision.. We'll be back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We ended up cooking every meal to save money. The bedrooms were upstairs so it didn't wake the kids at night. There is a washer and dryer on site to wash clothes in case the kids clothes got soaked from being in the snow. Perfect place to stay.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Collins Lake Resort is a nice resort that was perfect for our ski vacation. The unit was spacious and had what we needed to house 2 families. The kitchen was nicely furnished. Perhaps the cleaners could have been more careful between renters. If available, we would stay at this unit again or another unit at Collins Lake.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had 7 of us stay in this rental, two couples and 3 singles. There was enough space for all of us and some to spare. The kitchen was large with a gas stove and there were lots of counter space for us to spread out. Timberline is about 10 minutes away and Meadows about 15 minutes away. This condo is close to both mountains as well as the city of Government Camp. We suggest eating at Huckleberry Inn where they open 24 hours and serve breakfast all day. One tip we have is when you want to purchase your $50 discount lift tickets, you have to go to the concierge desk at Mt. Hood Meadows Mountain. We made the mistake of going to the Collins Lake Resort sales and rental office and they were not very helpful towards us. Other than that, we highly recommend staying at this property if you are in the area to snowboard or ski.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Thank you so much. I had looked at 4 properties at Collins Lake and from the photos, this unit looked the best, and reality didn't disappoint! We will definitely be back and the garage was a bigger bonus that I had thought, how nice to have ALL the amenities of home.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Loved the condo. Can't think of even one thing it was lacking. We used the pool, hot tub and sauna almost every night. We definitely enjoyed cruising Govt. Camp and enjoying its small-town charm and, of course, the close proximity to ski/snowboarding was critical. It was awesome to jump in the car and be at the slopes in literally minutes!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
