Maravilla Resort located at Miramar Beach in the midst of Destin Beaches provides just the right venue to enjoy the cool white sands and gentle waves in the Gulf of Mexico. It features 2 ½ acres of private beach front. Our One-Bedroom 1 ½ bath unit is both gated and secure to give you your peace of mind. Stepping out into the balcony in our 3rd Floor unit presents you with not only a breath-taking view of the ocean, but it exposes you to the sun and gentle breeze that the Destin coast guarantees. In addition to the one furnished bedroom, it has a queen sofa-cum-bed in the living room, two twin hallway bunk beds to comfortably sleep six members in the family.
In addition to the bedroom, that is furnished with new pillows and new bedspread, and the bathrooms with new linen, the living room is furnished with a sofa and easy lounger. The entertainment center has a TV (there is another TV in the bedroom) and DVD player. To the side, the wooden dinette set with four chairs has the view of the balcony. High-Speed WIRELESS INTERNET connection is available in the unit. The covered balcony features two patio chairs and a table to enjoy the view of the Gulf. More upgrades are planned. The kitchen is fully furnished with a fridge with ice-maker, toaster, blender, coffee maker, etc.
Our unit in Maravilla is conveniently located with easy access to the beach. It is only a 5-minutes drive to restaurants and shopping district. You can very conveniently pick up groceries of your choice to your taste. The unit is located next to the property club house with an outdoor heated pool and a hot tub/Jacuzzi. There are private Tennis and Basketball courts near the Club House. Our membership in the Seasonal Beach Service provides TWO Chaise Chairs and ONE Umbrella absolutely FREE (Seasonal March 15- October 31)
Highway 98 that is only a block or two away north of the resort will take you shopping at the roadside malls and a variety of shopping complexes. Many restaurants serving seafood, ethnic foods, and specializing in American cuisine are all around near the highway. Pompano Joes a seafood delight on the beach is walking distance from the resort.
Water sports including boating, sailing, fishing, surfing are available. Ride On Surf School next door to Pompano Joe’s Restaurant and Bar offers surfing lessons to the young and the young at heart, and also rental gear and camp. Parasailing trips can also be arranged from Pompano Joe’s.

My husband and I enjoyed this condo last week and it was great! Comfortable, conveniently located and just about a block through the complex to walk to the beach. Beach chairs and umbrella each day were definitely a plus, as well as the heated pool. Would stay here again.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Our family of five stayed in this condo for a week. It was very clean, well furnished, and we were very comfortable. We loved our ocean view and the convenience of walking to the beach and pools. The owner was very kind and returned every phone call. We were very impressed with how quickly we received our deposit back!! We highly recommend this condo!! We will definitely be returning.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We stayed for a week in May 2012 in this condo. We had 4 people in our group and there was plenty of room for everyone. The king-size bed in the bedroom was very comfortable; the condo decorating was current and very tasteful. The wi-fi worked great; we were connected all week without a problem. Would be nice to have check-in a little earlier in the day, but we know that there is a lot to coordinate on move-out/move-in day. The whole process from reserving the condo, deposit, payment, return of deposit was trouble-free; the owner even checked in with us during the week to see how we were doing! We were very impressed. This was our first vacation in May - the weather was great. We had a fantastic week, and hope to do it again next year.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful time renting this condo at the Maravilla resort. Everything in the resort was terrific! We loved being close to the heated pool and the tennis courts. The condo was clean and everything was working properly. The keyless entry was fabulous and we were very pleased with the wifi. The beach service was also wonderful. It was great to have our chairs set up in the same location every day. We were with other families who also had beach service, so Matt set up our chairs all together every day. It was wonderful! We saw dolphins almost every day, and I have never seen the gulf water so clean. The owner was great to work with! He called on the night of our arrival to make sure everything was as we expected, and was very prompt in returning our security deposit. We have no complaints and are hoping to return next year. Thanks so much we had a great week!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maravilla. The condo was clean and well decorated, and the location was perfect for us, right next to the beach. Since it's close to Destin Commons, you have opportunities for shopping and restaurants, and you're just a few minutes from downtown Destin. We would definitely stay there again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Why the Owner Chose Maravilla:
Miramar Beach located in Destin, Florida is a beach that is only about five hours from where we live in Alabama. We have come to this area for vacation for years and years, because it is the closest of all beaches from our home. My wife being a person who grew up near a beach in her childhood days has enjoyed coming out here to get away and relax. We have seen these areas grow in front of our eyes for the last thirty years. In addition to providing a great gulf view, the condo location provides easy access to the beach, outdoor pool and sports facilities right at the resort. Highway 98 that is only a block or two away north of the resort will take you shopping at the roadside malls and a variety of shopping complexes. Many restaurants serving seafood, ethnic foods, and specializing in American cuisine are all around near the highway. Pompano Joes a seafood delight on the beach is walking distance from the resort. We like this area because it provides a venue that is easily accessible from near-by airports and from I-10 and major Highways for a great price.
